Ryder stood in the very center of the great green field, eyes scanning the stands as they filled with spectators. A light wind rustled his short auburn hair. It wasn't sunny today, but at least it wasn't raining.
Checking his watch again, the man let out a small sigh. Ten more minutes. At the moment he felt like it would be a lifetime before they got the game going.

The cloud cover was a blessing and a curse to Allegra. It would be easier to play the quaffle without the glare, but the snitch was easier to find when the sun would glint off of it's body. She sighed, just thankful Ari was a good seeker.
She opened her locker and started putting on her equipment as she waited for the rest of the team, humming to herself which was unusual. She usually stressed out before games and the Slytherin game was the worst. But Allegra had realized that morning that either the Snakes would cheat or... they wouldn't. All Ravenclaw could do was play their best, and the Eagles never had a problem with that.

Brittany hiked her way up to the quidditch pitch. She was so relieved that they weren't playing the first game of the season. Though she hadn't known how to dress exactly or who to root for. Her boyfriend was on one team but she had friends on the other. So instead of wearing any colours that would support either of the teams she had worn a light pink long sleeve shirt with a brown scarf with pink polka dots. Since it was chilly outside she dressed warm and found a seat in the now empty stadium.
Hands running over the railing, she looked out on the quidditch pitch. She figured this as a preview to see what the competion for this year would be like. Also, this would help figure out different strategies and techniques that would need to be used against which team.

Charlie had been the first, and the earliest of her team. She wasn't bouncing around the locker room, she wasn't even talking. Instead, she sat in one of the benches, letting her vision blur as she tried to focus. She usually began her concentration by humming a Weird Sisters song, but that would fade away as she started imagining the pitch and all of the posisble plays. Indeed, she was a bit traumitized from the last official game, but she didn't want to repeat herself.
Sitting there for a full ten minutes, she calculated that it was almost time for the others to ge in. Getting back to visual focus, she stood up and finished putting the rest of her gear on, swinging her bat a few more times, and draining all of her nerves as she regained her more positive outlook. If she was lucky, no one spotted her moments before, only catching her in the second step of her ritual.

Sora entered the locker room, looking oddly alert and awake. It was odd for Sora to seem so awake in the morning. Usually, he was always so dead tired.
He went to the boy's side of the locker room and took a seat on the bench in front of his locker. Stifling a small yawn, he began to shrug of his clothes and began to put on his Quidditch gear. It was going to be his first match ever since he had changed schools. He knew he was a bit rusty, even though he had practiced quite a bit, and hoped he will get back into the flow.

Reina walked into the locker room and glance at Sora and Charlie. Reina nodded though she would have liked more players to have arrived before she did. Reina nodded at both people before starting to take out her own gear. Reina was nervous. She wasn't sure these kids were good enough and she badly wanted that cup.

Drew came into the Ravenclaw locker room to find only Allegra in there. He wasn't worried. The rest of the team always showed up.
"You ready for this?" he asked her with a small smile. He knew better than anyone that she was.

Arianna stumbled into the locker room, nearly tripping over the threshold as she entered. She leaned against the nearest locker and shook her head, trying to wake herself up. Reina's stupid spell still hadn't worn completely off and she kept having moments where she wanted to go back to bed. Hopefully she'd get a burst of energy soon, before the game started.

Hiro entered the locker room more eager than normal. Hearing the cheers of the crowd and the thrill of being in the air was almost overwelming. Of course before all that came the overpowerring fear of failure.
"Everyone have the bells attatched still?" Hiro was worried that he'd knock someone on his own team.

Nic walked into the locker room and glance around. He was very nervous, never played before and wondering if he could do what Reina told him and Charlie showed him. "Hey guys." Nic couldn't stand the quiet right now. They should be gettin hyped not sitting in silence.

Reina's stupid spell still hadn't worn completely off and she kept having moments where she wanted to go back to bed. {Whoa! How'd ja know it was me? There's no proof} Reina counted off another one and wondered briefly where the heck everyone else was. She wasn't going to forfeit and if everyone didn't show up in 2 minutes she was going to hunt each and everyone one down.

"Of course," Allegra answered Hiro, jingling the small bell she had tied up in her hair. She had to laugh as she thought about how her father would ask if they were ready to go out and her mother would answer "with bells on'. Allegra didn't think anyone ever took the old saying literally before.

"Bells?" Lily asked entering the room. "Oh yeah," she said. "D'uh, bells. She jingled the bell she had attached to her pants. "I'm all set and physched to play. We're going to beat the Slytherins and I'm not taking any crap from Reina today."

{ I know. Ari may suspect, though } "Bell..." Arianna repeated, stretching the word out with a yawn. She lifted her arm and lazily wiggled it about, the little bell tinkling merrily. "Yeah...that's it..." Moving over to her own locker, the girl pulled her own gear out and slumped onto the bench, not sure if she was really ready for this. The game was really important to her, though, and she wasn't going to take a time out on this one.

Allegra looked over her team. Almost everyone was there and she was still hoping the subs would show up. Even if they didn't...
"If you aren't up to playing, we'll get someone else to be seeker," she told Arianna. She was not going to risk the whole game on one player. It was better to play one short than have a full team not up to par.
