Sabrina was startled at such a sharp accusation. "I was just wondering. Jeeez, ever think of loosin up. You always look like you're on edge or something." she said to him. She too watched the fire. She wanted to know so badly what he had burned. But something in his voice told her to stay out of it. She laid back down more to get comfortable. But it was pretty hard since they were sitting by a huge boulder.

"If you aren’t always ready, then you are good as dead. Being nosy also gets people killed." Asap said as he burnt the next picture. A smile then tugged at his lips as he thought of what it would be like if some of these kids were to go and live like he had done, man, would it come as a shock to them. Using the little knowledge he had gathered on each of his class mates he put them in different sceneries and tried to guess if they would live or die. He found the game quiet from and sat in silence staring into the fire. After a while he looked up at the sky and said, “You know, people who are nosy are more often than not the ones that hide the biggest secretes.” He looked over at her and grinned. “So what’s your secret?”

"I don't have a secret. I've never heard that saying before." she said smiling. She thought for a minute. Did she? She never really thought about it. No, no secrets. "What about you Mr. Mystery?" she said with a wink. "If you keep to yourself all the time, even with your excuses, out of you and me, you'd be the one with a secret." She knew that was really confusing. She hoped he would know what she meant. Sometimes thought would just come to fast for her to say it the way she wanted to. Or at least to make her point the right way.

"Well, it's more personal experience than a saying.” He answered. "Me? Of course I have secretes, anybody who says different is lying or have the mentality of a three year old and are unable to keep secretes. But me, I am perfectly honest, see? So honest I do not deign having a secret and so open I do not keep it secrete I have a secrete. I do not keep to my self, I speak truthfully and hold to my word, I just don’t waist my breath on pointless chitchat, if somebody wants that, they may speak first.” He tried to be as confusing as he could to answer he dizzying statement.

Her head spun. She normally didn't think that hard when she wasn't in classes. Well, she did have secrets. But they were childish ones. About her family and such. I thought he was talking about like life secrets or something. she said to herself. She thought of herself to be a very trustworthy person. Other people even said it to her. Friends , family. "Just because you have secrets, doesn't mean you gotta shut out the world. Where do you live that you live like this?" she asked. "Again being nosy, I'm sorry. I know alot of people find it annoying." she appologized.

“I live where I sleep, so currently I’m living here, at Hogwarts. That would seem obvious. Now that I am in school, when I am not, I will be living with my grandpa. And yes, it is rather annoying.” He picked up a twig and began to break it into small bits then threw the bits in the fire. “And I do not shut out the world. I simply wait for the world to make the first move.” He lay back. “What about you?” He asked, he wanted to get off the subject of himself. “Where will you be living when out of Hogwarts?”

Sabrina was grateful the he was honest, but it just surprised her that he found her annoying after only just meeting. She thought about what he had said about the world making the first move, but didn't quite understand. Where will you be living out of Hogwarts? he asked. "O well, I live with both parents in this little town in Great Britain. But I really want to move back to the States. Wisconsin preferably." she always loved living there. "What about you?" she asked back.

“He lives in Cornwall. But my true home, as you can probably tell by my voice, is not Cornwall. I was born in the states but moved to Netherlands when I was six, my home is anywhere there, but Rotterdam a favorite place, that’s where I lived most my time in there. We moved here when I got my letter.” He answered. He did not believe in telling lies unless it was necessary, and often it was not. He had found that the truth confused people more often than a lie did and when you told the truth most people thought it was a lie because they were used to being lied to and thought those lies the truth.

Something about the way he told her his life story was a little fony to her. Maybe she was just being parainoid again, but she couldn't help it. She looked into the fire. He really was good at this kind of stuff. Brina would never of been able to just make a fire. She's more a city girl then anything. "So, you in boy-scouts or somethin that you know how to make a good fire like that?" she said sarcasticaly. She wanted to get the subject away from their life. He seemed unconfortable with it.

He laughed and shook his head, "No...no boy-scouts are for rich kids. It’s just one of those things you got to pick up if you don't want to be dependant on somebody else, being dependant is as likely to kill you as being nosy.” He added a few twigs to the fire before shrugging and saying, “It’s not hard if you have a matches or a lighter or, I imagine, a wand. Want me to show you? Its one of the most necessary things you will ever learn, unless you’re a rich-kid.” To him, a rich-kid was any kid who hadn’t slept out on the streets or stolen food or eaten in a soup kitchen. In his mind you didn’t have to have a lot of money to be a rich-kid.

"Yea, sure." she said. Brina loved learning new things. Anything that wasn't part of school that is. She loved learning them, even if in the process she made a fool of herself. Rich kid he said. Am I a rich girl? Brina thought. She never really tried to decide. I have enough money to live with or whatever, but I wouldn't call my self rich. Like those movie stars or something. she was still thinking about it untill Asap started to show her how to make such an awsome fire.

Asap grabbed some of the sticks and tore a piece of paper out of a notebook from his bag and crumpled it up. "Well, obviously you don't want to have anything flammable near the fire, so you clear the ground around it for at least three feet, but I already did this. Then you just crumple up the paper like this. "He crumpled it into a ball and set it on the ground then began to lean the sticks over it so they leaned on each other or almost on each other, he did this a few times then gave her the sticks. "You try and do that."

She remembered doing this once at a camp she had went to. But that was ages ago, and she really wasn't paying much attention to it. She took the sticks from him. "Like this?" she asked as she laid them down on the paper ball. She tried to make it look the way he did it, and how the other fire looked. I hope this is right. she thought. If its not, oh my god, he's gonna think I'm such a blonde. she had been called that by many people. Some times it was to tease, others to really be mean.

"Yeah, something like that. It is something that you only perefect with practice. Then you take some small twigs and dry leaves and grass and stuff and put it on the top." He showed her how to stick the dry kindling onto of the ball and over the sticks. "See? Then you take a match and just light the paper." He handed her the matches. “Light the paper and hope it catches.”

Brina took the matches from him. She liked matches, not starting random fires, just lighting matches. She knew it was weird, but she didn't care. Maybe thats one of those 'secrets' he was talking about. she thought. She struck the match against the side of the box. The smell reminded her of her mother lighting candles at her house. They didn't use magic all the time like other people did, they liked to go 'the muggle way' as her dad called it. She always said that sounded stupid. She put the lighted match closer to the paper. It started to turn red and orange from the fire. She thought that looked so cool. After a second it started turning black. But then it started catching onto the kindling. "Hey!" she exclaimed. "I did it! and kinda all by myself." she was really happy, not faked just to say it. "Thanks. I would have never of did that by myself. I probably be sitting in my common room doing homework or something. This is way better." she said smiling, looking at her fire that was burning nicely.
