Charlie wasn't going to really beat Ari, but she was going to take a page from angry mothers with a broom, and hitting the intruders on the head and bum until they knew where the exit was. "Come on, now-- SHOO! We ain't got all day for you."

"Does this mean I'm not on the team?" Arianna questioned, dropping her broom so she could protect her head from any damage Charlie might force upon her. "Bummer..."
Swooping down to gather her broom and cap while keeping one arm over her head, the girl turned and loped toward the stands. If she couldn't join the team, at least she could watch. There was nothing in the rulebooks about that.

Daniel rose a skeptical eyebrow at the secondie, for he was actually mildly impressed that he actually knew the meaning of the anagram. Actually, Danny was just hoping that he wouldn't know so he could lecture him, and make a fit. Ah well. Looking at the house roster, he gave a slight check off his name with his HB, lead 2, orange pencil along with a scribble that could barely pass off as a KC (even though he was intending CK).
"Ok. Thats all. Go off... Run with that munchkin over there." He said, pointing at Art and giving a slight shove at his back." Daniel just shook his head at Ari. Why did she have to ruin everything. And watch the tryouts. Well, that meant Charlie and him had to put up a show.

Ty watched as Daniel checked his name off and jotted down something. He was pretty amazed that that was the only information that the captain needed. He was a bit annoyed, however, when the boy shoved him in the back and told him to go and run with the first year, but decided to let it go. He was wondering what running had to do with Quidditch and why they were doing it, but thought that it must be just to get them in shape for the up coming match or something. He went to join the boy that the captain had pointed at to go and run with him.

Oversleeping sucked most of the times. Being one who did it quite often to his own dismay, Sora knew of the consequences that often came from oversleeping. When he woke up late, he knew there would be hell to pay, especially on a Quidditch training day. Forgoing breakfast totally, he ran as fast as he could to get to the locker rooms. As he was running through the grounds, he remembered that he left his broom back in the Slytherin dorms. Backtracking all the way back to the dorms, chest heaving like a marathon runner's, he retrieved his broom and ran all the way to the entrance hall, through the grounds, and to the locker rooms.
Noticing that it was empty, he quickly shrugged on his protective gear and his shirt. His hand was wrapped around the doorknob and was about to leave when he noticed a slight breeze below his waist. Sora looked down and noticed that he didn't have any pants on. With a slight blush, he retrieve his pants with a flick of his wand and quickly shrugged them on.
He saw the Quidditch hopefuls and the team, as well as a solitary Raven that he knew was Arianna, as he ran down to the pitch,
"Sorry...late..." he heaved, wiping the sweat from his brow as he looked to Charlie.

Brandon's watch stopped working. Well, at least that was his excuse despite the fact that nothing electronic worked on the grounds. Actually, he had lost track of time when in the Common Room, starting on that monsterous and endless pile of homework. Noticing an older student running around the dorms like a frantic squirrel and leaving with a broom, the second year knew he was late. Rushing onto the field, the pale boys cheeked flushed a pink as he searched the field for anyone tall - tall meant old, and old meant captain-. Well. That was Brandon's theory, and as he searched the field, he noticed a tall boy with unruly hair with a clipboard. That had to be the Quidditch Captain. Unless it was the one swinging a beater bat; but she was a girl. Girls weren't Quidditch Captains? Were they? (( . Sorry Charlie. Just HAD to do that )) Pulling at his bottom lip with his upper teeth, the cherub Scottish boy could barely grasp the courage needed to go up to the older student, but soon found his legs heading in his direction. One step at a time. Brandon thought to himself as he approached the older student. Looking up, Brandon stood about 10 inches below him and he asked with obvious manners, "Umm... I'm here for the umm... tryouts?"

Daniel waited a whole minute after the second year left before giving a snort. The young were so helpless and easily mislead; they actually believed the running would do them good. Perhaps make them tired and sweat before reaching beyond the ground, but not much else. And plus, it was humourous watching them run around... and around... and around once more.
Daniel called out upon seeing Sora, "Oi! Sora! Are you still playing chaser?" Since last year he was just about forced onto the team by Charlie (wow, her spirit still wasn't down), he wasn't exactly sure if everyone from last year's team were strongest in the position they were a part of. Not really caring if he was late or not, Daniel just made a check on the ex-Quidditch Roster, and awaited Sora's responce.
Upon hearing a quiet, polite voice, Daniel looked down - being tall was getting on his nerves. Seeing a boy nearly as chubby as his own brother, he cast him a look of skeptism. He hadn't quite made out the words that the kid had said and therefore answered impatiently, "This isn't where you sign up for water boy. Or mannerism teachings." He shook his head lightly before turning away from the kid. For some odd reason, he wasn't too fond of the boy.

As Charlie swatted the Ravenclaw away, she returned to the pitch and saw a few new people come arrive, including Sora. "S'alright, Blake. We're just about to start. I just had to chase away some rodents with wings." With that, she pointed her bat upward at Ari. Hearing DJ trying to confirm Sora's veteran spot, she said under her breath, "I'd hope so." But it wasn't so much of a malicious comment as it was very, vey hopeful.
Seeing the team in whole, she walked over to DJ and counted the ones present. "1, 2, 3... Six. Not enough for a scrimmage, but we can do with some indivisualized training, don't you think, DJ?" Sure, they were missing a keeper, but they could just wait for her. Until now... "Sora, Ty, Brandon can do some speed training and passing drills. You and me can start on some ping ponging, then onto hitting and blocking targets. Arty... well, he's just going to do what he's here to do." Charlie brought along the chest that held the balls. "Let's ditch the running now and start on that, 'kay?"

Artmis heard Charlie and walked over " My name is Artemis not Arty got it?" He told her strictly but after he told her. His coplexion relaxed. " ok what do you want me to do exactly? Art asked mounting his broom like he learned in class. he was looking at the chest Charlie was carring and he hoped he wouldn't start off the seasons hit with one of those... bludgers...

Hearing his name Ty came back over to where the rest of the team was. He was glad that they had decided to dispense with the useless running and do something that might prove to be useful for the Quidditch team. He had had a sneaking suspicion that the captain was only making them run for his amusement and nothing else. Walking over to where he had left his broom he grabbed it and mounted it waiting to see what they were going to do next. He was hovering a couple feet off of the ground waiting for the rest to get ready.

As the team gathered themselves, Charlie piped up before she could give DJ a chance... again. "Ahem... okay, we're gonna do some training in the positions that you've received temporarily-- or permanently, if we like yeh enough. Chasers are Sora, Ty, and Brandon. You guys are gonna work on dodging between each other with the quaffle. DON'T FORGET TO PASS. It helps if you call out each other's name.
"Beaters are me and DJ. But since we're captains, we're gonna evaluate you all. Arty, I'm gonna take out the snitch, and you do what you do best: find it. When you look for it, try hearin' it, too. It's something you can't miss. Use all your senses, 'kay? And focus on your speeding, dodging, and blocking. Soon enough Dj and me are gonna take out the bludgers and we're gonna alternate defense and offense. You don't need to worry none about that, only to watch out if a bludger's coming at you."
With that, Charlie opened the chest. She took out the quaffle and with her bat, she pitched it high up into the air. "Chasers-- NOW!" Next, she unleashed the snitch and as soon as the snitch zoomed, she hollered, "Arty... NOW!"

(I'll change)
Art kicked off the firm ground feeling the wind in his hair he circled around the air for a short while adn he dove as he caught a gilt of gold but his eyes confused the glint of a badge for the elusive ball and the good lord knos how hard to find that snitch was. He wove around keeping himself moving. He loved the pitch and eveything it stood for, freedom, and enjoyment being the top two. He thought he saw a glint of gold near the chasers but a longer glance proved him wrong again.

(bludgers aren't up, yet.)
With the new drills up in the air, Charlie leaned back with DJ and looked at him. "D'you know where our keeper is?" For now she was fine with everyone and their positions, but they would need a keeper for their chasers. And then an idea struck.
"DJ... why don't we ask Ari...?" She didn't bother to finish her question, but it was enough to get the idea around.

Ty kicked off into the air and watched as Charlie tossed the ball up into the air. He zoomed over to it and grabbed it firmly tucking it into his chest. He waited as the other chasers came into the air. He couldn't be more happy then to finally be flying over the Quidditch pitch as a part of the Slytherin team. He was bound and determined to excel in his postition to show that he belonged on the Slytherin Quidditch team.
