Slightly older monsters this time. Hogwarts was either slipping or the student population -- more like the parent population -- was really believing all of this "elevens" mambo-jumbo. Well, if they pulled their kiddies out of Hogwarts, it meant less torture for him and the same paycheck. What more could one ask from a win-win situation? They could pull out half the school for all he cared, just as long as he still got paid.
So far, he had not had any tacks on his chair or attempts on his life in general, so perhaps the Hogwarts Students had lost their general nerve. It was a shame really, but again, a point up for Bloxam. Bad enough he had to teach these little ones everything he knew, he wanted obedient little children at least in return. It seemed fair.
Whistling to himself, Bloxam stared out the window to his far left, occasionally glancing back at the door. So, it was to be second years and third years that would grace his presence. Slightly bigger than the first years and therefore only slightly less jittery.
Well, they would be here any moment, best to get this over with.

Ah. The joys of getting lost in the hallways second thing in the morning. Sure, Mark had been at Hogwarts for nearly a year, but getting lost was still a part of his daily routine. The staircases moving, the ghosts 'helping' out by leading the student in the wrong direction, avoiding the older students whom had a habit of picking on the younger students (more then likely taping their mouths shut and stuffing them into a bathroom stall, that happened quite often and Mark couldn't exactly put his finger on why), and of course all those trick stairs, and walls that pretended to be doors, everything seemed to be against the students. Not to mention whacko teachers and the students high on fizzing whizzbees weren't helping much either.
Mark's amber eyes hinted worry as he turned down the same hallway for the third time. He was hoping to be not too lost, but upon looking down from the staircases, he seemed to be on the wrong floor, but what he didn't know was the fact that they were bewitched to look higher then they actually were. Biting his bottom lip, he grasped his school books tighter and took a single step forwards to find his right foot sink into the ground. Bloody fake floor the second year Hufflepuff mused to himself as he pulled his foot back quickly.
Turning back around, his keen eyes searched until he found a bunch of older students walking out of a classroom looking miserable. That must be the place. After all, if they just had Transfigurations with the Slytherin head, they would be miserable too. Flinging his tie over his shoulder for the time being (stupid thing untied itself), he walked over at a medium pace. He couldn't go any quicker despite the fact that he had pretty long legs for a guy. The School Nurse and two Hufflepuffs knew why.
Taking a step into the classroom, he automatically averted his eyes to the front of the classroom. Recognizing him as the professor introduced to at the feet, he immediatly began that entire thinking process again that made his movements jerky and similar to those of a grasshopper. Posture. Don't take too long of steps. Can't make bad first opinions yet. How primitive of a place. Shoulders back. Head held humbly. Ok. Taking a seat towards the middle of the classroom, furthest from the windows, he casually repositioned his tie not bothering to re-tie it tighter though.

It wasn't Charms, but at least it wasn't Potions. The first Transfiguration class of the year, how lovely. With a slight smile holding her lips and her brown locks pulled back in a low side ponytail, Abigail walked casually down the corridor towards the open classroom door. She was dressed in the Hogwarts uniform of course, robes swaying slightly as she walked, and her eyes were bright and alive with the new school year. Her shoes clicked on the stone floor and a black bag hung off her shoulder as she stopped outside the room and glanced up and down the hall once, of course searching for any sign of Lianna. The girls had decided to meet before class, but Abby had needed to make a quick unexpected stop at the girls' dorms. No sign of the other second year, so the girl slipped into the room and offered a nod to the professor.
"Hello," she greeted him quietly before sliding into the seat next to Mark. She wasn't going to say anything else, not until she had figured out what kind of professor this guy was at least, and so contented herself with muttering a "Hey" to the Huffle next to her while pulling out some sheets of parchment, her quill, and ink bottle.

Roxy walked into the classroom. Two students were already in there. Rox walked over to them. "Hi, I'm Roxy Matthews, 3rd year Ravenclaw. Who must you two be?"Roxy asked confidently. Roxy figured she was the oldest one so far, but she imagined there would be more 3rd years soon, she hoped. She took a seat next to the girl, and got out the things she needed. Roxy stuck her nose in a book and started to read.

The girl dreaded this class, she didn't want to be there as not only was the man new, but she had no wand at the moment and his reaction to such information would probably be most unpleasant and unforgiving. Though Lianna did admit it was a stupid thing to do to lose her wand and she would take any punishment given. She deserved it.
I hope he's at least semi understanding... The second year thought as she entered the room, seeing both Abi, Mark and, some unknown but clearly older girl. The former were very welcome sights, though both curses and blessings as she had yet to tell Abi she'd lost her wand, they were friends, but she'd get ridicule from them probably too after class.
Nervously the girl took a seat two seats behind Abi, her eyes finding the floor almost immediately, not a word of hello to any of them. She had nothing to say, she merely fidgeted with her hands waiting for the inevitable.

The sound of a moving chair grabbed Abby's attention, and after giving a nod of acknowledgment to the girl now sitting beside her, the Huffle leaned her head back to see who was sitting behind her. Her brow rose when she realized it was Lianna. Abigail quietly rose from her own seat and shuffled back to where the other Huffle was sitting. She than sat in the chair next to the girl and shot a quizzical look at her--it was obvious something was wrong with her.
"Hey, what's up?" Abby whispered with a swift glance at the professor for any sign of a warning reproach for talking. After knowing Lianna for nearly a year, the other second year's fidgeting caused for some suspicion.

Nothing to say, or rather was it nothing she wanted to say? She didn't really know, but it seemed conversation was as unavoidable as always. The girl silently shook her head, trying to signifyt whatever it was wasn't anything inportant. Lianna didn't know what to do, sure Abi was her best friend buthow would the girl react when she found out her blunder? Though, she was bound to find out sooner or later anyways, she'd been rather lucky in Charms.
"Ilostmywand..." The second year mumbled quietly. Sure there were only four of them but that could change at any moment, and no offense toward the Huffle boy, but she just didn't want people to know. Plus, she didn't even know who the Ravenclaw girl was.

"Ican'tunderstandwhatyoujustsaid," Abigail mumbled back just as quietly and quickly as Lianna's answer. So far Professor Bloxam hadn't said anything, and so Abby kept the cork out of her mouth for the time being. "What?" She leaned forward on the desk and a bit closer to the other Huffle with a curious expression holding her face.

Lianna frowned. She was certain Abi actually had]/i] heard her and only wanted to make sure she'd heard right so she could rub it in. But then again there was the chance she really hadn't understood, and she couldn't keep going like this, stressing herself out like she was. It wasn't healthy.
"I lost my wand..." The Hufflepuff girl replied in a whisper, her cheeks turning a light pink from the embarrassment of the situation. She wasn't too worried about Abi knowing she was worried this man might actually he hearing every word they were saying. That would ruin her day for sure, though the man would find out eventually.

"Oh..." Abigail sat back in the chair with a somewhat stunned look in her eyes. That was odd, especially in Lianna's case, for the girl was pretty responsible, and Abby figured her to be one of the last girls to lose such a valuable item. She looked at her straight on and ignored the pink blush (she'd be embarrassed too, after all), ideas now running through her mind. "Well, when was the last time you remember having it?" If the two girls traced Lianna's steps Abby was sure they could find her wand.
The Huffle tried to keep her cool and suppress the panicky questions such as what Lianna planned to do during DADA, Charms, and Transfiguration: all wand-essential classes.

The truth of the matter was, Bloxam did not care how much the little buggers talked, just as long as they remained civil. He had not seen any eyes with a malicious red glow in them that singled 'mutants from the next life wanting to kill him', but still, you just never know with these things. They switched moods like boats at sea.
This was not expected to be a large class, so, if no more little monsters showed up, then fine with him. Yawning, the Professor sat up a little straighter, working the ache out of his back.
"All right, you can all keep talking if you want, just leave enough room for me to ask you questions and enough breath to answer them. Your life on the line, mine is already lost. Savvy?" He asked them, deciding to remain seated.
"All right, so, what did you learn in this class last year? Anything worth your time?"

Emily rushed down the corridor to Transfiguration, she was going to be late if she didn't make it soon. She stopped running two doors down for the classroom and began walking. She entered the classroom as the professor began talking. Breathing heavily she took a seat next to a girl from Hufflepuff and got out her supplies hoping she wouldn't get in trouble.
"Hello," she said looking at the girl who didn't look to happy. For a second she stared then asked, "What did he say?"

"I dunno...it wasn't in my trunk..." Lianna replied quickly before the man began speaking. So far the Professor seemed alright. He didn't care if they talked, as long as they learned. That, could either be generous or stupid, it was left open to debate. Frowning at her own statement the girl turned frontwards trying to wipe it off her face bfore the Professor could see her look of discontent.
Sure, she still had that wand Roxanne had given her in charms, but the woman had said it was good at Charms, she didn't know how good it would work with this. She had to find her wand and soon. A moment later a Gryffindor girl came into the room and sat on her other side asking her what was wrong.
"Its nothing, don't worry about." Lianna replied, hoping to Merlin that Abi would play along. Lianna didn't know the girl and the less people that didn't know about her plight, especially ones she didn't know, the better.
"Erm...she wasn't really here much..." Lianna replied to the man's question awkwardly. Half of their lessosns he'd been here but they hadn't really done anything. It was pretty cruel because this class actually sounded pretty fun. Basically they were second year's by class but in here, unless they tok it on their own, their were first year's in experience. At least, that was how she saw it.

Inwardly, Bloxam groaned his dislike. That had been what he was afraid of. Hogwarts must have deteriorated in what they allowed and did not allow to teach at Hogwarts. He didn't need to problem to be voiced about their experience. He didn't have one class of firsties, he had two. And the third years in the room as well, he doubted they had anything worth knowing either. Next class he would pair the second years with the first years. Keep them on the same level, hopefully the third years were slightly more advanced.
Rubbing his temples, he slightly cursed himself. This had not been a part of the job description and probably for good reason. What would happen when these kiddies got to their O.W.L.s level? He rather not think about it.
"Right. Right," he repeated, contemplating what he was going to do. "Do you kids know anything, at least? Anything at all? The difference between animate and inanimate Transfiguration? How you transfigure Inanimate to Inanimate objects? Merlin, you can at least handle minor things. Matchsticks to needles? Balloons to balls?"
Even if they lied to him and just nodded their heads, he would feel that much better. He had a bone to pick with the Headmistress about them. She wanted him to teach kids on different levels their levels without properly getting the prior ones first.

Michelle took a glance at her watch. The first Tranfiguration class and she was late already. Speeding her walk up to a run as she realized she was already five minutes late, and if the Professor was anything like the other times, it would be bad.
Robes flying as she mounted stairs, she thought to herself over and over again. Idiot, idiot, idiot! Getting up even minorly late was a terrible thing for her, even though it took the girl barely five minutes to get ready. She was a terrible morning person, and that had gotten her into trouble with a very ghosts and a suit of armor.
Finally, the classroom was in sight, and the door was open, maybe she could sneak in and not be noticed...
Slidding to a halt in front of the class, she tried extremely carefully to be silent. Unfortunately, her clumsiness got the better of her.
SMASH!
"Bother..." she muttered, as a chair tipped and went crashing to the ground. People turned to look at her. Someone snickered, another laughed out-right. With a sigh she hoisted her bag up onto her shoulder a tad more, and took her place at the back, hoping so bad that the Professor had been too busy to notice the horribly loud noise and the laugh of other students.
