What bloody time is it? That was her first thought as light slid unto her face from the open window that one of her room mate's had decided would be more inviting. The auburn haired girl slowly opened her eyes and rubbed them as her mind became more alert. She grabbed her watch from the side table and her grey-green eyes widened in horror. 10 a.m. was the time that showed and Fyona had a morning class in transfiguration this particular morning. She was going to kick whoever had decided to open the window but not wake her up. She jumped out of bed and didn't even bother to make it, who cared about whether it was made or not? She then quickly dressed and threw on her school robes. Without a moment to lose she grabbed her sack and hoped her books were in it, or at least the ones that she needed for now, and raced down the stairs that lead to the girl's room. About ten minutes later Fyona found herself on the stairs leading to the fourth floor. On problem was at this particular instant the stairs wanted to re-arrange themselves. Leaving her in the middle of a swinging staircase and hanging on for dear life.
When it was done she was again on the third floor. After some more running around she was finally on the fourth floor with her feet pounding against stone floor. As she rounded a corner sharp footsteps behind her caught her off guard. She came to an abrupt halt and looked behind her to see if there was anyone else late, or she was just imaging things. It must have been the latter induced by her tardiness which made her hear the sounds because there was nothing behind her. Nothing except a suit of armor which stood there looking all proud with it's mace in hand. She started walking this time, not running. She was almost there anyway; a few more corridors and she would be home free. She still had time too with all that running she had done. Now I'm starting to wish that I had at least stopped off to get some toast or something on my way up, she thought as her stomach rumbled. Yep, she was definitely going to kick her roommate.
More footsteps behind her only this time they sounded more like taps than quick sharp steps. There was also a squeaking of hinges that made her assume that it was nothing but a few students sneaking away from morning classes today. Again, turning behind her all she saw was the suit of armor, only something was wrong.......She picked her pace now, and this time she could hear the footsteps and tinkling of metal things!! They clanged against each other, and when she stopped and looked behind her all she was the same suit of armor and the same mace in hand. Nothing else filled the hallway for all the other students had cleared it making their way to class. Still, there was something off.....
The suit of armor is the same distance from me now as it was when first heard the steps. A sharp intake of breathe and Fyona stepped closer to the suit of gleaming armor. A silver shine reflected her freckled nose and cheeks back to her as she looked into it. The black mace stood as a symbol of war in its metal gloves as Fyona stared it down. She started to poke it when all of a sudden it came to life. It brought up the mace in one swift movement, but before it could bring it down Fyona was off. Is this what happens to students who are late?! The auburn haired girl wasted this time for a precious thought before she stumbled and almost fell.
Oh Merlin's ghost! This thing is stalking me!
((i'm bored and have time so this is open))

Ty had gotten all dressed up for the occassion. Alright it wasn't really an occassion, but it was certainly a great opportunity to have fun. After all there were sure to be plenty of students out and about to scare. Yes that's right it was Ty in that suit of armor. He had snuck it out of the armor gallery just that morning so that he could put it on and chase all of the firsties with it. Oh yes this day was sure to be great fun. He had planned on scarying all of the littler kids all morning long and then returning the suit as soon as classes had started. The plan was a great one in his mind. There was no way it could backfire...right?
Smiling as his first victim came racing around the corner he didn't say a word. Nope he just proceeded to follow her at a distance, clearly creeping the younger snake out. This was just to much fun. Especially when she walked over to him and touched the armor, he had to try his best not to laugh at the look on her face, but some how he managed to pull it off. Following the fleeing Slytherin he reached out to grab her arm just as she made a movement. Did she just trip? Well that was lucky for her, because that meant she was out of his grasp for now.

She almost fell but she managed to catch herself before she ended up sprawled out on the floor with an armored stalker hovering above her. This was crazy! There was no way that a suit of armor could really be chasing her through the fourth floor corridors. The whole time while she was running it felt so surreal. The unlikely hood of being chased down by that squeaking hunk of metal. Still, she didn't want to stop and try and give it another poke lest she fall victim to it's mace. Nope, it was best to keep running and hope she.....Wait. Where was she? Oh crap! She had been so concerned with the thing following her that she had just ran in any direction. The corridor she was currently running through was lined with pictures of old men. Some of them wore robes and others wore important looking suits. This looked like one of the many fourth floor hallways, but she couldn't be sure. Great. She was late, being chased by a suit of armor, and potentially lost.
She wasn't sure if Bloxam would believe her if and/or when she managed to get to the classroom. She would just have to focus on one thing at a time. First she would continue to run from the suit of armor with the mace, and then she would un-lose herself. Then she would go to class. Or maybe she would just skip altogether and go kick the tail out of one of her roommates. It was their fault she was in this predicament now. "Why are you following me? Go....fight a cat or something," she shouted behind her at the troublesome suit. As she turned to face forward she saw she had to make a choice. Left or right. Both of them would be leading her to somewhere that she may --or may not-- have been familiar with. She chose left.
As Fyona turned another corner her shoes slid on the floor and down she went.

Jack had been looking over an assignment that was due in his next class to be paying much attention to what was going on in front of him. He was already late for History of Magic and didn't see the need to hurry to much. He knew that he was already more than likely in trouble for being late so a couple of minutes later wasn't going to hurt anything. He looked up when he heard feet pounding the stone. It was just in time to see someone slid and then hit the floor. Hurrying over to her he asked, "Are you alright? Here let me help you up." He had heard her exclaim something about being followed, which would make sense as to why she was running down the hall. But who would be following her? And why would she feel the need to run? Both interesting questions that he wanted answered.
Once he made sure that she was going to be okay he asked, just that, "Who's following you and why were you telling them to go and fight a cat?"

Ty had been up all morning in this suit of armor and it was really starting to get hot at the moment. Although he wasn't about to give it up, not with how entertaining his current victim was being. No she was way to entertaining to leave right now, maybe when she actually entered a class he would go and get the hunk of metal off of him and stop by the kitchen for a well deserved butterbeer. He would be way to late to attend class anyways so why not spend it in the kitchens where no professor would likely look. Yep that's exactly what he would do, but for now it was back to tormenting. Watching with a smirk he looked on as she took the left corridor. He wasn't about to be lost that easily. Not bothering to reply to her question, he didn't want to give himself away at the moment. Well that and it was much more creeper to have a non-talking piece of armor then it was to have a chatty one.
Looking on as he followed her he watched as she fell. Well that had to hurt, but yet he made no motion to go over and help her up. Nope instead he just stood there still as could be and looked on.

Am I dead? If I am I hope there's ice cream.
The twelve year old thought that as she landed the suit of armor had caught up and cut off her head or something. Her eyes were closed tight, and it wasn't that she became fully away that she was splayed out on the floor she did come to realize that she was indeed still alive. Fyona had landed with her arms out to catch herself, but no such luck. She ended up rubbing her knee against the stone flooring as she fell but luckily her robes were there to protect her skin. Still, she felt heat on her knee making her think that perhaps she had gotten injured anyway. She opened her eyes as she heard some kind words from a kind person. A picture maybe?
"Are you alright? Here let me help you up." No, it was a person. An older boy who was wearing his Ravenclaw robes. She let him help her up without saying anything, and it wasn't until she lifted her robes to her knee hat she saw a rug burn, only with the burn coming from her robes and not a rug. "I'll be okay thanks," and then with alarm she added, "Oh no the thing!" The thing meaning the suit of armor that had been chasing her. Fyona looked quickly behind her to see the suit of armor just standing there all innocent like it had not been moving a moment before. "It was that thing that was following me," she pointed at the immobile metal man. She must have looked crazy pointing at the thing and it did not move an inch. Why does it want to stop now? It only wants to scare little girls when there is no one else about, eh?
"Dynga Dwi mo crazy," she said at first, but then she realized that it was not English. She could speak British English really well having learned it when she went to muggle school, but she momentarily forgot where she was. She had thought that she was dead not too long ago. She must have hit her head when she fell as well, though it felt fine. "I am not a nutter. That thing was moving," although she said the last bit a doubtfully. Had it moved? Had it really moved? Of course it did! I saw it with my own two eyes. The mace was still in it's hand, and Fyona found herself wondering if it would throw it had her head or something.

Jack turned on the spot to see what Fyona was talking about when she said that thing. From what he could tell she was pointing at a suit of armor. Was that there before? He thought to himself as he tried to remember if he had ever run into one on the fourth floor before. It would have to have been. It isn't like they just up and walk around to mess with people. With this he let the thought slide from his mind and turned back around to look at the young Slytherin. "You mean the suit of armor?" he asked a bit puzzled, wondering if she was suffering from to much stress or something to make her see things. He had been their five years and had yet to see on of the armors walk around the school, let alone, chase someone around.
'Dynga Dwi mo crazy' Okay, that made absolutely no sense to Jack and only furthered his belief that the girl was loosing it slightly, which apparently she was thinking the same thing, because in the next instance was claiming her sanity, like someone had questioned it. "Umm...no one said you were." Jack said calmly, looking over at the suit of armor again. He was just making sure that he had really seen it and that it was still exactly where it was moments before. "How far has it been chasing you? he asked this to see if she could answer it more or less, because if it indeed had been chasing her then he would have to investigate it further.

Ty just stood still in a silent fit of laughter at Fyona's words. Well the ones that he had understood anyways. Because at first he thought she was saying she was crazy, but that was cleared up after she reverted back to English. Although he was sure that to Jack she would appear down right mad. After all he wasn't moving an inch, and she was claiming he had followed her down the hall. To funny.
As Jack turned towards him he held extremely still, not wanting to make even the slightest move and give himself away. However, when Jack turned his back again he waved his mace threatingly. Jack wouldn't be able to see him, well he didn't think he would considering he was facing the other way, but Fyona should have been. Of course the moment that Jack turned around Ty would freeze where he was at, hopefully in the same position as before.

"You mean the suit of armor?" No, she was talking about the air in front of the suit of armor. Of course the suit of armor! What else could be chasing her around the fourth floor corridors and make her run like that? It definitely wasn't her imagination though sometimes that did run away from her. She didn't even acknowledge his last statement because she was too busy looking at the suit of armor and willing it to move. Of course the boy had to think that she was insane now right? She was running down the hallway screaming stuff behind her and then here comes this kid who sees her. When asked what she was running from she points to a stationary suit of armor. A suit of armor that is supposed to serve merely as decoration for the otherwise mostly empty halls. Then the girl states that she is no crazy thus making her look even more crazy. To add to this scene the suit of armor still does not move.....The suit of armor was winning this confrontation.
"I'm not exactly sure how far I was chased. I was too busy trying to stay from within range of it's mace." Sure, Fyona was going to run down the corridor and at the same time keep track of every turn she made and what hallways she traveled down. She hadn't even looked at her watch to see what time it was. By this time she was way late for Bloxam's class, and at this time she could care less. She would not even go more than likely. This morning had already been eventful enough without the added lecture or whatever from her transfiguration professor.
The girl felt silly, and because she felt silly she was getting upset with herself. The more upset she got with herself, the more upset she got with the source of why she was making herself upset. The suit of armor. "Go touch it. I'm telling you it moves." It was at that moment that the armor waved it's mace at her, and she pointed even more vigorously before. "Turn around now! Look at it!"

Not really expecting her to be able to answer the question he just listened, still not sure whether she was feeding him a line or not. A suit of armor chasing around a second year snake, in the middle of the day no less? And swinging it’s mace at her? The story sounded so far fetched that he was having a difficult time believing the little girl. That and the fact that she was from Slytherin was adding to his unwillingness to give right into the story. You could ever be too sure with Snakes and their intentions. About the only Snake that he trusted, even a little bit, was Ty and then even then Ty could illustrate the characteristics of a Slytherin. Jack would just have to take the situation lightly and not get dragged into anything to quickly without proof. He wasn’t totally unwilling to believe her. He just didn’t want to be made the fool on one of someone’s practical jokes.
Turning on the spot, when commanded, Jack just saw the same thing. It didn’t look like the suit of armor had even moved and inch, but with this outburst from the girl Jack thought that he had at least better go and look again. She seemed to be getting more and more upset by the moment and if she would go that far to pull one over on him than he would just have to look foolish, because it was in his nature to help. Approaching the armor Jack tapped on it’s chest plate and then opened up the visor.

Ty reverted back to being motionless as the girl yelled for Jack to turn around. There was no way that Jack would have been able to see any movement from the suit of armor, nope all it did was remain stationary. He had managed to get the mace back in it's position to, well he was a little off considering the speed Jack turned around, but it wasn't so off that anyone would be able to tell just from glancing at it. Then when Jack made a movement towards him all he could do was smirk. This could be fun.
Feeling and hearing Jack's tap he didn't move an inch. Nope he just remained still, barely even breathing. This was exceptionally hard considering he wanted to laugh, but he was able to pull it off all the same. Although when Jack reached for the visor he had to think fast. Jack was sure to look into it and find out that it was indeed him behind all of this. Deciding on what to do he just slammed the visor back down with his hand and stood there smiling. He knew that he had given himself away with the movement, but there really was no other choice. If Jack looked in he was found for sure anyways.

He turned around but was too late to catch the suit of armor waving the mace threateningly behind her. Fyona wasn't sure if she was more frantic with anger or with fright. All she knew was that this whole situation was ridiculous. The Ravenclaw boy went up to the armor and tapped it on the chest, and then he pulled up the visor quickly with seemingly no hesitation. With a movement that was just as quick the suit or armor --which she was beginning to think might have been possessed or something-- pulled the visor back down. Fyona was so happy. There was a big smile on her face as she went up and stood behind the older Ravenclaw boy. She didn't want to be the one closer to the suit of armor in case it tried anything. "See I told you!" There was much happiness in her voice as she said this, although she shouldn't have been happy to know that there was a suit or armor loose in the castle that was trying it's hardest to scare little kids. Whether or not it really wanted to hurt her or not was something she preferred not to think about. Fyona still didn't want to touch it again, because she still didn't know what was wrong with it.
"Do you think it's possessed or something," she asked tentatively. This close to it again she was able to see that the metal armor was not so bright and shiny as she once thought. Though for her, after being chased through several corridors with a mace being waved at her, she still found it intimidating.

“Yeah I think it is possessed.” Jack said with a smile. He was smiling because he knew exactly what was going on and who was behind this little stunt. He had gotten a glimpse of Ty before the visor was slammed down in front of his face. Now if the little snake had slammed his fingers in the visor that would be a completely different story. He would have killed the little dude, but he had been forunate enough to get them out of the way before it fully closed. “By a shrimp of a snake.” he continued just goading Ty. He knew Ty had a touchy spot about his height and was determined to see if he could provoke him into showing himself or not. It wasn’t like Ty would be in trouble one way or another, because Jack had absolutely no power over the snake or authority. So there wasn’t much that could be done, except to laugh.

Ty just smirked, so Jack did see it was him. Well that certainly through a wrench into his plans. Oh well though, it was getting extremely hot in this get up anyways so he didn't mind being found out. Well by Jack that was. He would have minded a little more if it was someone that could actually do something about it. Although he was still a little disgruntled at the fact that Jack had insisted on calling him a shrimp? It wasn't like he was that small, was he? No he was just shorter than average, but not freakishly short. However, he would have to talk to him about that later for now Ty felt he alright as long as Jack didn't give him away fully. Even with his little hint Ty was pretty confident that Fyona wouldn't get who was behing the armor. Seeing as Fyona was so close he didn't dare just tell Jack to bugger off. No that probably would have given him a way for sure, considering his voice and everything. Instead he just decided to give Jack a slight hit in the shoulder, hoping that he would get his message and not utter another word on the matter.
At this point Ty would be happy just walking back to the common room and getting out of the heat trap that was this hunk of metal. Not to mention he had been on his feet most of the morning and it wasn't like the metal was weightless now was it?

“Yeah I think it is possessed.” At least he agreed that something was going on. “By a shrimp of a snake.” This comment was lost on her at first, and the confused expression showed on her face. Her mind first heard it and took it on a literal level. Like there was an actual snake inside the suit of armor, but how could there be a small snake inside there that chased her around the school? Then it made more sense as she thought of the snake being a Snake, with a capitol s. Meaning someone from her house, and that made her happy that it was not a possessed metal person, but it also made her angry. All this time there was someone in there laughing at her. Maybe not aloud, if they had then they would have been heard, but laughing all the same. "What?! Are you certain?" Some of the irritation that had been squelched by her earlier surprise and maybe a bit of fear was now edging her words. She could not believe this! The Slytherin waited for no answer and instead stepped around the Ravenclaw, she hadn't seen the suit of armor hit the boy, if she had then she would have thought that her "rescuer" had something to do with this the whole time. Then there would have been more irritation to go around. The girl didn't bother to pull up the visor, as the person inside could just as easily pull it down again.
No, she decided to pull the whole helmet off with one quick jerk. The suit wasn't that much taller than her so she could reach the helmet no problem. She placed her hands on either side with absolutely no hesitation, and in the same motion she lifted it up and off the head of the person who she was about to have a few words with.
