Lauren pointed her wand at Noah when he came to apologize. She would've have accepted his apology, but that would go against everything she stood for, whatever that was. She didn't say anything to him. Pointing her wand at him, she hoped it would get him out of her face. Of course Lauren wanted to just forgive him and forget about it, but that's not how she was. Besdies, what could she say; 'It's okay. I love you, even though you were being and ass.' No. She couldn't and she wouldn't.
"Whatever." That was all she said. She'd get over it by the end of class probably, but he didn't have to know that. Lowering her wand out of his face, she looked at him. Aw, he was so cute annoying, with those puppy-dog eyes and that adorable face. Such a poser.

Nic watched everything and was still slightly confused. What can I say he's a guy? Nic blinked a few times as he tried to comprehend everything, but it seemed as though everything was settling back down now. Nic leaned over to the nearest person and whispered rather loudly. "So uh, Noah and Lauren are like uh together or somethin or am I missin somethin?"

Deciding that she had given her students enough time to come to the Hut, Solis began the lesson. The Hut had been enlarged considerably since Professor Solis had taken up residence there-- so although it was crowded, her fourth and fifth year students weren't cramped together.
"Alright, so shortly-- we will go outside to conduct some experiments. Today we will be making and launching bottle rockets. We'll also "warm up" your magic, especially since lanching these rockets will be somewhat difficult. So! Someone please list off some ways people, wizards and muggles alike, get into space?"
Today wasn't really related to Astronomy, but Solis wanted to do something fun and interesting to start them off on their return to school.

Jack was glad that the class had finally started and from what it sounded like this class was going to be a blast. He couldn't wait to get out side and start building the rockets. He considered Solis’s question for a minute and remembered something that he had heard or seen when he was visiting his brother in America about how muggles got to outer space. He also knew that the British and other countries had similar ways to get into space. Jack raised his hand and then said, “To get into space muggles use space shuttles.” That was the only one that he could remember at the moment and he didn't really know if wizards used them also.

"I heard of one wizard.." Drew started but wasn't sure if that was just legend and didnt' finish the story. He decided it was best to stick with things he was sure of in this particular class. "When Muggles started shooting stuff into space in the sixties, they used rockets to get up there. The problem was they were only good for one shot up."

Ash was staring at the Gryffindor from the corner of her eye and when he had mentioned what a jerk he was being, she couldn't help but give a snort. He was being a jerk and how was Noah ever going to win Lauren's heart by being such an as- huh? Together? Had she heard this kid right? " Of course- its obvious isn't it?" she couldn't restrain herself from saying this even though she'd probably hear something from Lauren or Noah later if it ever got around to them. " I mean- Noah, the quidditch jock and Lauren, the Slytherin beauty- they're a classic couple."
Ash nodded and laid back in her seat, knowing what she had said was hardly the truth. She watched as Drew and Jack answered Solis's question- fast they are... like usual

Nic scrunched up his face. "Wizards have gone to outer space? Not unh, yall are seriously puttin me on? Right?" Nic looked around. Being a muggleborn and coming to this lifestyle was really something. Nic learned something new every single day.

"Yes, Mr. Torque," Solis said impatiently, closing her eyes and shaking her head. "Wizards do go out to space... how else do you think we are able to collect moon dust?" She nodded at Jack and Drew, both Ravenclaws were correct, as usual. "Good, muggles use space shuttles to get into space. That's similar to the same way wizards get into space. Instead, wizards take a simple object, such as a telephone booth and use it to apparate into space."
She conjured up a plastic bottle of butterbeer. "Anyone thirsty for some butterbeer?" She offered it to the first person who piped up.

Out of nowhere, probably no one thought Tristan was even in the class. But he was. He happened to came by very early and slept until class acutally started. After she asked for anyone thirsty for butterbeer," Wait, professor. So it takes muggles atleast about 2 weeks to get to moon and it takes us about... 1 second?" he asked not wanting butterbeer. Not very thirsty.

Pat had remained sitting, drinking hot chocolate, waiting for Solis to begin the lesson; which happened to be sooner than he'd thought. He caught the subject of what they would be doing today: bottle rockets. Pat had never made or used a bottle rocket before, but he'd seen them; it seemed like a fun lesson for the day, even if it wasn't strictly Astronomy.
When it came to her question though, any attempt Pat would have made to answer was held off. Jack and Drew were quite swift on the uptake - they were Ravens after all - and took the two main things about Muggle space exploration that Pat knew. As for wizards' methods, Pat didn't know what they were; he hadn't even known wizards had made it into space, unless some of the astronauts that had gone to the Moon were actually wizards.
Solis's answer to Nic's question cleared that up, at least partly. It sounded like they used Portkeys to get to the Moon. When she offered the butterbeer, Pat raised his hand, suspecting what would happen; if he was correct at Solis's intentions, this would be interesting. "I'll have some," he said with a slight smirk on his face, setting his now-empty hot chocolate mug on the table. He was rushing headlong into this, even though he hadn't thought of the dangers. Like how the hell he was supposed to breathe...

Don't do it... don't do it... the thought ran through his head, warning Pat silently as if the Huffle could read thoughts. Drew didn't believe for a moment that the offer of butterbeer was just that... a simple and friendly offer. Worst case scenario, it would be a Portkey and Pat would end up on the moon. Best case scenario was Solis planned to show how pressure worked and Pat would be covered in butterbeer foam.

(I must say it is extremely interesting how you guys have interpreted my post XD)
She handed to butterbeer to Pat, smiling widely at him. "Thank you Mr. Nollet, 10 points for your bravery..." There was a glint of mischief in her chocolatey brown eyes. She noticed some of the other students' worried looks and laughed silently. At least she knew that her students listened to her.
As soon as Pat touched the bottle, he found himself in the Forbidden Forest, still holding the bottle of butterbeer. He was far away enough that he didn't know where he was, but he was also close enough to not be completely consumed by the forest. The forest was dark, but Pat was in the safer regions of the woods. Solis' voice, and the voices of his classmates sounded from the bottle that Pat was holding.
"I wasn't going to send our dear Mr. Nollet to space. That would be absurd..." she said hypocritically. This was coming from the woman who made a group of students fight a bunch of boggarts on ice. "Instead, Mr. Nollet's fate relies on you. As a class, you must create bottle rockets that launch high enough for Mr. Nollet to see from the woods. Mind you, the trees are quite high..."
She always loved giving students challenges, even when it had very little to do with actual Astronomy. "You will see the challenges that muggles and wizards go through to find ways to get into space. I will help you... but I ask you to rely on your classmates. Questions?"
She conjured up a few more bottles (this time none of them portkeys), and grabbed one of them. This one would be used as a sort of walkie-talkie with Pat. "Mr. Nollet, you may ask questions too." she said to the bottle. It probably looked a bit mad to passing people. The Astronomy teacher was calling a butterbeer bottle Mr. Nollet and talking to it...
Oh, how I love absurdity.

Drew thought the task was kind of pointless. They weren't Muggles, they were wizards and even a dumb firstie knew how to send up sparks from their wand. He had been all for the bottle rockets when it was just for fun, but now the task was to get Nollet back? What kind of incentive was that?

Jack was up for the challenge as long as Pat really wasn't in any danger he was fine with the task. After all he didn't have to find his way out of the forest relying only on the skills of this Astronomy classes ability to build bottle rockets and send them into the air. All he had to do was see if he could build a bottle rocket. He really wasn't sure what Pat would think about the whole thing. He would probably take it well after all he took most things well, but how knew. He did find it a bit odd though that Solis was talking into a Butterbeer bottle until he realized that she had made it into some sort of a communication device.

Pat had gone through the predictable motions. He'd stood up when Solis neared him with the bottle, his smile growing a little wider as Solis said he'd earned ten points for his bravery. The moment he'd been handed the bottle, he blinked; what he saw when his eyes opened confused him for a moment. He had known that he would be going somewhere, so he hadn't expected to be in the classroom anymore. But the surface of the moon didn't have trees...
Through the butterbeer bottle now clutched in his hand, Pat heard Solis's explanation. So he was in the Forbidden Forest; not where he had expected, but it was negotiable. He had been in the Forest before - many students ventured into the Forest at least once in their early years - but he had never been this deep in before, or at least not as far as he could remember; his own adventure had been perhaps two years ago? Either way, he wasn't sure movement through the Forest was the best option.
The last part of Solis's lecture caught his attention. He had known that his bottle was a receiver for messages from the Hut, but apparently, he could also talk to them. He held the mouth of the bottle up to his own mouth. "So I'm just supposed to sit here and wait for a rocket to shoot up?" he asked, his tone sceptical. It wasn't that he doubted no-one would make a rocket that would shoot high enough - he had no doubt that at least Drew, who was good at things like skateboarding and basketballm would be able to make an efficient bottle rocket - but the whole purpose seemed a little out-of-place.
Oh well, Pat mused to himself. He supposed he would just have to get into a good position when the first rocket to shoot shot. Pat looked toward the sky, finding the sun with little effort; the trees weren't thick enough to block it out at all just yet, it was still very bright. He could tell from it's position about which direction the school - and the hut - were, even though he wasnt exact on it.
Putting the bottle into a pocket on the jeans he was wearing underneath his robes, Pat chose a nearby tree and jumped onto one of the lower branches, working hs way up as far as he could go, looking in the direction of the school. Resting his back against the trunk, all Pat could really do was wait, unless he wanted to defeat the purpose of his classmates' assignmen; unless he was asked a question of course, then he would have something to do. He wouldn't wait forever - he wanted to be back in time for dinner at least, and it was cold out besides - but he would wait long enough to give them a sporting chance. He was curious as to how well they would do, too. It was really a pity the bottle he had been handed was empty though.
