Adrian was somewhat dismayed when a boy expressed interest in leaving, as well. Adrian liked rebellion and disregard for rules as much as the next eleven-year old, but he really wanted to go to Hogwarts and he didn't want to be the only one. "Look, it's not that bad! No one's gonna think less of us if we get in a certain House. There all really great! The Sorting Hat puts you in the House that you belong in. Where there's kids just like you. This is going to be fun, you guys. Were going to be Wizards and Witches!" Adrian said passionately, speaking to the group at large. Satisfied with his little speech, he sat back, waiting for a reaction.

Her eyes still closed she didn't have to open then to know it was Jet's voice that she heard. And, her heart beat started to raise, she breathe in slowly and a smile formed on her lips as she opened her eyes to confirm that it was Jet standiing next to her. She nodded to him, then the Headmistress began to speak and the young girl payed attetion to her every word and just like that the women was gone.
Then her attention turned back tot he boy. What the women had said claimed her and she knew this wasn't going to be as bad as she had pictured it to be. "It's seems like a nice palce," she said her smile fading only slightly but then returning to her face. "Plus, your here" she said as she reached out for his hand and took it in hers.

Ryan was up for going back outside, but not for the reasons that Trixi and Jeremy wanted to go. He thought that it would be fun to continue the water fight that him and Braxton had been having before they had gotten to the castle and hollard at, though he hadn't heard the hollering. He thought that it would be even funner if all of the firsties got in on it, not to mention, it would be a good way to get their minds off of the sorting and show them that being here could be fun. Ryan really wanted to tell someone this but he wasn't one to speak up in crowds at all, especially when he only knew a few of the people there, while the others he had never met before or only once.

"Technically we already are witches and wizards," Braxton said with a smile over in Adrian's direction. After all just because you weren't a qualified/schooled witch or wizard didn't mean that you weren't one. However, he had to agree with Adrian on the other aspects of his little speech. It seemed like he was thinking along the same lines as he was, and that was that there wasn't really any reason for leaving.

Jethro's soft smile remained on his face, even when Summer did open her gray-blue eyes. As soon as she had however, the Deputy explained what would be happening. Once she had left, only the words Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin stuck in his head. These would be the houses that some of his friends might be split, or put into like himself. The boy knew nothing of what the Houses were marked for, but he would find out soon.
A few moments after Summer had turned back to him, Jet let a small laugh escape. "It is, don't worry." his eyes wandered through her own as she spoke again. "I don't plan on leaving either, as long as we're both here it'll be okay." a minor grin spread across his face as Jethro felt her hand on his. "Why don't we got talk to some people, odds are we'll be in their house or their classes." and without waiting for an answer, Jethro lead Summer off to Milo and Sally, two people he assumed she didn't know. "Milo, Sally, this is Summer." Jet said, a warm smile still on his face as he stood with the others.

Jeremy was thinking that the loud girl definitely had the right idea and the other boy didn't really know what he was talking about. Sure, he knew all about the Sorting Hat (Drew had tried to convince him he'd have to eat a bucket of flobberworms, but Allegra set him straight), but that didn't make it any better. "Why do you think it's not going to be bad? That it will be fun," he challenged. "Because they told you?" He said this last bit framing his words with air quotes and sneering. "And no one is like me. NO ONE. So don't try to pretend that you know what you're talking about!"
He glared at the other boy who might have been slightly delusional, but seemed kind of nice besides that.

Trixi agree'd with the funny looking boy still. So what if that one had gotten up and given some small speech, none of it was true. It wouldn't be fun, it would be pure torture full of people judging and sneering at you, making fun of your every fault. Maybe not even in hushed voices this time. Trixi didn't want to go through that again. "He's right!" Trixi said loudly again. She seemed to have a problem speaking in a level of sound appropriate for situations. Or maybe it was just because she was raillied up and wanting to leave. "No-one's like him.... No-ones like me!" Trixi staired at Adrian as if he was insane. "They can't laugh at us if they can't find us!" she said stairing around frantically. She really wished everyone would just come and leave the hall right now. Escape before that woman returned.

The loud girl was very smart and her idea made a lot more sense to him than standing around making googie eyes at some girl, which was what one of the stupid guys seemed to be doing a lot of. Those two could stay, but he and the loud girl were getting out of there before it was too late.
"We can hide and then when she leaves, we can walk back to the station and get on the train!" Jeremy added on. They were already soaking wet. Taking the path back to town in the rain wouldn't be any big deal. There was no way anyone was going to make fun of him here.

This boy definately knew his stuff. His mind was definately on the same wave lengths as hers. Going back to the train, hiding from the woman, it all made sence. Trixi also loved the part about walking back to the station, it sounded much better than the boats. She wasn't really wanting to fall out of one again. "Lets go then!" Trixi said to him hurridly, then looking to ryan and Brax to see if they were coming too. "Theres some bushes out the front, we can hide in those!" Trixi said suddenly, looking back to the boy. She may have been looking at the ground when she came in but she had glanced those bushes. Trixi was really keen on the boy's idea. It made all the sence in the world to her. He would definately be helpful to get back to the station.

Ryan wasn't that sure that he was up to going outside and hiding, but if Trixi and Jeremy were going to do it then he didn't see the harm. He wasn't planning on leaving Hogwarts. Oh no. He was just up for a little more fun outside and just messing with the one onry ladie. He was pretty sure that Braxton would come as well. After all if he was going and Jeremy was he would most likely go with them right? They were his friends after all. "I'm in," Ryan said with a smile.

Well if Ryan was going along with this little hair brain scheme then Braxton guessed he was too. He didn't exactly want to leave the castle, but if they actually got to the point of leaving for good he could always turn around. "Alright, I guess I am in too." Braxton said with a smile. He didn't mind going back outside for awhile after all there was plenty of more water ammo out there to pay Ryan back all he wanted.

Adrian sighed. Some people just couldn't look on the bright side. He might not know as much about magic as the other boy, but he was pretty sure he had a better grip on reality. You have to work at things, you have to go through tough times to succeed. He knew there would be ups and downs at Hogwarts just like in any other new situations. You learn and grow from the downs, and your rewarded with the ups.
It was sad that they wanted to leave, it really was. Sad that they were willing to throw away a whole new life, whatever the reason was. Both probably had things in there past that made them like this, and Adrian didn't want to judge them, seeing as how little he knew. "Go, then. Run away. But, I doubt it'll make things better." He said to the two of them, his tone not unkind. If they did leave, he would dwell on it for weeks, thinking he should have stopped them, somehow, but now he wouldn't interfere. He would let them make their own choices.

"You do what you want, Mr. Mary Poppins boy!" Jeremy yelled back, pointing forcefully in Adrian's direction. Of course it wouldn't make things better. That was the whole point. NOTHING would make it better so what was the point of staying?
All he needed now was the assurance that Hannah was coming too. He wouldn't leave a friend behind in this awful place. He had his hand on the heavy front door, ready to pull it open as soon as he knew she'd follow.

Adrian really couldn't help it. He cracked up. He wasn't laughing at Jeremy, quite the opposite he was laughing with him. It had been a clever remark, better then he would have expected from the less-then-awe-inspiring boy. Adrian was sort of playing the governess, after all. He didn't want to let Trixi and Jeremy walk away, but he shouldn't try to act like their mothers. They were as smart as him, and as able to make decisions as well as him. He just really hoped they wouldn't make the wrong one.

And there it was. They didn't have to wait to get into the sorting feast to be laughed at. This Mary Poppins boy was standing right there in front of them, laughing in their faces... laughing at Jeremy. It was just like the kids back hom. Proof that no, nothing had changed.
"STOP IT!" he shouted, his only warning before he lunged at the boy. Maybe they'd throw Jeremy out of school for fighting. That would work too.
