Another day on the pitch. This one had ended with Arianna's worst injury yet. It hadn't been raining, but a gust of wind had picked up and shoved her into the stands. She could have come out of it with only a few bruises and small scratches if it hadn't been for a loose nail, which stuck in her leg and wouldn't let go until after it had a torn her pants and left a gash an inch long. It was painful, but nothing the girl couldn't handle.
After getting herself free of the nail, Arianna had hobbled to her bag, mopped up the wound and wrapped it with some gauze and band-aides from the first aide kit she now carried with her everywhere. She even took a potion to help aide the healing process. It had tasted a bit funny, but Arianna hadn't thought anything of it at the time. She was desperate to take care of her newest injury before anyone saw it and had downed half of the small bottle before she had even noticed anything odd about it. By the time she'd made it back to the castle, Arianna realized it was worse (or maybe better depending on how one looked at it) than just a funny tasting potion.
Stepping up to the front steps, the girl found herself having difficulty getting to the front door. Every time she took a step forward, it seemed to take a step back. And the stairs themselves....well, they were proving to cause some trouble, too. Arianna could feel solid stone beneath her, but her feet seemed to melt into it when she looked down. There was also that odd sensation that she would fall forward if she wasn't careful. It was a familiar feeling; she'd felt that way after her birthday celebration after drinking too much sake. It hadn't left her with these...hallucinations, though.
After some moments of struggle, Arianna had finally made it to the door. It still looked further away than it should have been and she'd run into it before she'd even known she was within inches of it. It still looked a long ways off, yet she could feel them right in front of her. Somehow she was still able to get inside to the entrance hall, where everything seemed to have stepped back in time. The floor wasn't shag, but it was orange. And the walls...were those yellow and red and green and blue things really flowers? Dropping through a psychedelic vortex that swirled in Arianna's vision.
"Haha! They remodeled!" Arianna cried out. Giggles weren't the only thing that escaped her lips. There were bubbles, too. Of bright greens, pinks and yellows, twirling and twisting around each other as they floated to the ceiling. Arianna legs could no longer keep her upright and she plopped herself down right in the middle of the entrance way, her eyes glued to the hourglasses and giggling as though she were watching a very entertaining comedy. Indeed, she certainly was fascinated by the sudden change in scenery. It certainly made Hogwarts seem more...hip.

Exiting the Great Hall as Felicity had been working on an essay in there, finding it quieter than the library that had hushed voices around every corner, she turned to head up the stairs but stopped when she noticed a familiar shock of hair. At first she wondered if there was something wrong, the girl Felicity knew seemed...odd. It was the best word for what she could think of. No, she didn't know Arianna all that well, but she was walking strangely. She'd heard rumours that the girl wasn't doing too well, but she thought she was doing fine when she had seen her.
Now though, she was wondering. It took more than a minute to stare intently at the dark-haired girl while she tried to figure out what was going on, it was almost like the girl was taking everything in for the first time, just the expression on her face. Staring, Felicity only thought she half heard what the girl shouted. Something about remodeling, but she must've heard wrong, after all, her attention was on something that looked like bubbles. Glancing around the area, she didn't notice anything different, except the one suit of armour was leaning a little to the left, but that could've been normal for all she knew. Maybe Arianna had a bottle of magical bubbles, like the ones muggles played with, and was just playing by herself?
Light brown eyes glued back to the Ravenclaw, she worried a bit when Arianna seemed to almost collapse, but nothing seemed wrong. Then again, did things ever really seem wrong? No, not really.
Taking a step, and another, forcing herself to approach, hoping she wasn't intruding on something. Maybe the girl was crying and Felicity was just seeing things. Maybe, hopefully...hopefully everything was all right.
"Arianna?" she asked carefully, not wanting to startle in case the girl wasn't all right. But the look on her face said she was all right, actually, she looked happy. Perhaps the bubbles just added to the fact?

Deaf was used to people acting strangely, so he did not give the girl who came through a second thought. And if he did pay attention he would probably come to the conclusion that she was giggling because of the bubbles, which was an amusing trick, and anything else that might have been strange to other he just thought was her behavior. He noted that she was from his house and decided to ask her about the bubbles if he saw her in the common room.
He was squeezed into the tight area behind a suit of armor, it had seemed a lot bigger before he had crawled back here, but since he was he had gotten into a semi-comfortable and pulled out his new book just arrived from his grandpa. The book was the reason he had been driven to find an unusual place, he did not want to be disturbed so he chose an unusual place a bit out of the way to read, and unless somebody investigated the slightly titled suit of armor he was stuffed behind he doubted that he would be found.
He went back to his book and did not look away again until he heard another girl. He sighed and closed the book, keeping his thumb in the book to mark his place and shifted his position so he could watch better. Except for a stone sticking a bit out of the wall jabbing into the center of his back it was the perfect place to watch.

"Yeeeees?" Arianna bent her neck back and turned her head slightly to see who had spoken to her. Her eyes were slightly glazed over and a serene expression had covered her face, the smile on her lips looking a bit...cheesy. "That's meee!"
Giggling again, Arianna turned fully around with some difficulty now that the floor really did feel like it was covered in shaggy carpet. She blinked as her eyes fell on where she was sure the voice saying her name had come from. The younger girl looked like an ethereal being, floating and swirling in front of her. As Arianna watched more carefully, she discovered that it wasn't a human as she had initially thought. It's rippling rolling movement made it impossible to determine a proper shape, but the more Arianna gazed upon the creature, the more she was sure of what it was.
"You're a dragon!" she gasped, clapping her hands like an excited four year old. Arianna was giggling again, her laughter halted for only a second when she hiccuped, another bubble escaping her lips and popping right in front of the dragon's nose. "I didn't know you could talk!"
"Did you do that?" Arianna questioned the dragon in a half-joking, half-accusing manner, her finger motioning in the general direction of the hourglasses. "I think it looks awesome!"

He sighed a small bit to himself and slipped out from behind the statue. He did not want to stop reading but the situation before him was to intriguing to leave alone, thus the sigh, but there was also a smile of interest beginning to flicker in his eyes. He walked right up to the unfamiliar girl that he vaguely recognized seeing in the common room and bent and studied her for a few moments, before turning to the second girl and saying with a bit of amusement, “If I had to guess, I would say that she was stoned.” He tilted his head a little bit; examining her then took a few steps back. “Or maybe something less pleasant, a spell put on her maybe. She certainly seems disoriented. But what do I know? I’m only a first year.”
Suddenly stuck with an idea he grinned and asked the other Raven, “And what creature am I.”

Tilting her head to the side, her brown eyes were a more than a little concerned. Arianna sure was sounding funny, almost like a little child. Freddy acted like that sometimes, when he was playing with her and wanted to be funny and giggle and make his aunt laugh too. But it just didn't sound right, Felicity had never heard the Ravenclaw girl speak as such. But maybe it was something to do with what had happened to her in January? People had whispered things Felicity hadn't paid too much attention to, other than she got the jist that people had heard she was a bit loopy, and there'd been a few rumours that the girl had been off when she came back, but Felicity hadn't noticed any of that...until now.
And with the exclamation of what she was, Felicity's face was written over in concern. She was a dragon? Looking down at what she was wearing, she didn't even have dragon hide anything on. Jeans and a dark blue sweater, but she didn't think she looked like a dragon. And those bubbles were coming from her mouth! Not like one of those muggle bubble makers, but her mouth. That was weird in and of itself, but why in the world, how?
"Nnnooo..." Felicity drew out in answer to Arianna's question. The hourglasses were made by someone at the school, she definitely didn't do glass-work, and wasn't talented enough to do something of the sort by wand. Jumping a bit when the boy spoke, Felicity had no idea what he was talking about. Stoned? Glancing back at the dark haired girl, Felicity knitted her eyebrows. Stoned was like in the older days when people through stones at a person, right? The girl wasn't covered in stones, unless he meant she was acting a little brain-damaged. No, she definitely didn't know what was going on.
But a spell? What if someone had hexed Arianna? But who would do it? And then she was appalled by the way the younger boy started to sound like he was having fun! What if Arianna was seriously hurt? Ignoring him, Felicity turned her attention back.
"Arianna? Are you feeling all right?"

Arianna's brows knit in confusion at Felicity's answer. It had only made sense to her...Why else would the Entrance Hall be different on the very same day this dragon arrived? The only other answer Arianna could come up with was that the remodeling had been done as a way to greet the dragon. But if that was the case, why hadn't they been told they would receive such a wonderful visitor? Wouldn't they have wanted the students dressed up for the special occasion?
This was all too much to think at one time. Arianna could feel the questions running amok in her head but if she had tried to ask them they would have been all jumbled up. Heck, she wasn't even sure where one question started and where the others ended. Instead of worrying about such things, she started thinking how cool it would be if she could do magic and was about to voice this thought when another creature approached. One Arianna didn't like at all.
"No....get away..." the girl tried to move away from the creature, but didn't get very far. Her arms and legs seemed to not want to move when she wanted them to and her movement was very sluggish as she tried to get away from the boy whom she thought was some dark mist come to get her. He moved toward her and spoke in a menacing way that she did not like at all. But even if the boy's appearance scared her, Arianna must've looked silly with her face caught somewhere between a dreamy far-off look and one of fright.

Instinctively, Felicity took a step back away from Arianna. Calling her a dragon was odd in and of itself, but she didn't know why the girl was suddenly changing from her happy course to one of...what was it? Fear or anger? Or was it even either of those? The lioness wasn't sure, but wasn't going to take chances with it either. Whatever it was, she was a little unsure. Arianna didn't usually act this way, from when Felicity saw her before, but she hardly really saw her since her re-arrival to Hogwarts, was it possible this would now be a normal occurrance for the girl? The blonde certainly hoped not.
Light brown eyes followed to where the boy was now approaching, why was the Eagle afraid of him? She was sure Arianna could take him out any day she felt the inkling to. The boy was younger, and not to mention he was pretty good at appearing, so far from what Felicity noticed. He kind of just seemed to have come out of nowhere in a way, but if he was slinking around, then there was reason to hex him into oblivion if need came, though Felicity wouldn't do it herself. With the luck she had, the boy would catch fire. But why did Arianna want to get away from him?
Tilting her head slightly, she froze where she was, just observing the situation. Could Arianna really be afraid of the boy? What in the world happened to her? It wasn't long ago she'd seemed perfectly fine when she was helping Felicity out a bit, why the change?
Glancing over at the boy, Felicity gave him her best warning glance. If the boy tried anything, Felicity wouldn't think twice of trying to get her wand to work for her, but...she didn't think it would come down to that, or rather hoped it wouldn't.
"Arianna, love," Felcity began, not moving from where she'd stepped away. "Are you feeling well?" Again, the question. She hadn't answered before, maybe, maybe, this time she would.

He saw the other girls look but only grinned slightly at her. At the older Ravens request he took a few steps back as she weakly tried to get away. He wanted to mess with Arianna if only to bug the Gryffindor, however he decided to wait until it was made clear if something really was wrong with her. “Isn’t that obvious?” He asked, though gave no further comment to what the obvious answer was.
He turned back to the cowering seventh year and opened his mouth as if to speak but grinned as an idea popped into his head and he turned back to Felicity. “If you are a dragon, than can you breathe fire? Or blow smoke through your nostrils perhaps? That would be a neat trick. I’m sure she…” He gestured at the other girl. “…would find it quiet amusing. What are you, a 6th year? 5th year? I’m sure you could manage a little fake fire, doesn’t need to be to good, she’s obviously hallucinating.” He had no idea why but he wanted to annoy this lioness even though he had no reason to hold a grudge against her, in fact she seemed like a genuinely nice person. Maybe he was just that bored, he really needed a better hobby…
Shaking his head as if to clear it from the unrelated thoughts he turned to Arianna and this time questioned, “Why do I scare you?”
(couldn't really think of anything, sorry for the delay!!)

Arianna stopped just a foot in front of the 'dragon' and stared up at her with wonder. Her book bag lay where she had been seconds before and the potion she had taken earlier lay not too far off. It had fallen out of her pocket in her attempt to get away from the first year and rest quietly just a few feet from where Arianna now sat. The potion was a deep blue and the label was drawn up in what looked like Chinese characters though underneath, in Arianna's tiny tidy handwriting, it read 'quick healing potion'. It also had a 'use by' date...only two days before so it should have still been good. Clearly, judging by Arianna's state, it was not.
Now that she sat right where she felt safe; she just knew the dragon could keep that mist away, Arianna turned back to the hourglasses to watch their pretty movement. Her eyes, however, did not see the hourglass, but instead fell on her leg. The potion had clearly not worked the way it was supposed to. Not at all. The bandage had soaked through and Arianna gasped at the site of the dark stain.
"He bit me!" she claimed, not sounding at all upset. In fact, she sounded more.....curious. How did the boy bite her without her feeling anything. Odd....very odd indeed.

Light brown eyes were nearly bugging out of the Gryffindor's head as she looked exasperatedly at the boy. What was his problem? And he wanted her to breathe fire? That meant using her wand, she couldn't do that. Using her wand was a big no-no, no matter the circumstances, unless she was practicing in a safe environment. This was not a safe environment. For one, there was a boy there she didn't know, anyone could randomly stop in and look, and she didn't know what was wrong with the Eagless. Something had to be, but what?
"Are you mad?" she asked. "Can't you see there doesn't seem to be something quite right with her?" she told him, jerking her head at Arianna. To Felicity there was something wrong, and this boy seemed to think it was all fun and games. Or was it a joke being played on her?
Turning her attention back to Arianna, she was glad the girl seemed to have calmed down a bit, but she was entirely too worried still. They had to find out what was wrong with her, and if it was something that could be fixed, and if so, by who? There were a number of people, the nurse, her Head of House, any professor, maybe Corey, or even the Headmistress, though Raynor was a last resort in Felicity's opinion. Even if she would help the girl because she liked the Ravenclaw House.
And with all the wild thoughts running through her head, she didn't notice anything on the floor other than the girl who was a little loopy at the moment. Though, her accusation brought the blonde from her thoughts.
Glancing down at the girl, she didn't really see anything from the angle she was looking, and so glanced back to the boy to see if he knew what she was talking about. He hadn't bitten her, he hadn't even gotten close to her, at least not that Felicity knew of.

“I did not!” He said defiantly, he hadn’t even gotten close enough to touch her let alone bite her. He followed her eyes to where she was looking and saw the rip in her pants. He took a wide step to the left so he had a better angle, now he saw the bandages that were quiet bloody.
“Ok, maybe she does need some help.” He told the Gryffindor, she obviously needed a new bandage around whatever she had done to her leg. As he turned back to the injured girl he noticed the bottle lying near her bag and went over and picked it up. He studied it for a moment, it said it was a healing potion and that looked like what she needed so he went back to the two girls. It said it was expired but food normally stayed good enough for weeks after the expiration date, why should it be different with potions.
He offered the potion to Felicity, “Or maybe she just to take some of this. It’s a little out of date but it should still be good.”

Are you mad?
Arianna heard the question but nothing else Felicity had said. It confused her. She wasn't mad about anything! Did she even look that way? Arianna didn't think so. It was hard to look or feel mad when you were giggling over the funny feeling in your head.
"I'm not mad!" Arianna proclaimed rather loudly as she fell into giggles again, more and bigger bubbles escaping from her lips. Some were popping before they even got out, causing Arianna to let out a few loud burps. This only made her laugh even more profusely until she was rolling on the floor, laughing and belching all at once. What she didn't understand was why no one else was joining in.

Finally, a little bit of admittance that something could be wrong with Arianna from the boy. And here he wanted Felicity to fool around with magic, that would just make things worse. Casting spells was not her specialty, no matter how much fun it seemed or would make another smile. In this case, it was more about making sure nothing was seriously wrong with the Ravenclaw. But who could she try and get ahold of? The nurse's office was only a floor up, and Ravenclaw was up in the towers, she knew that much. Celina and Drew would probably both be there, or maybe in the library...or somewhere else. Really, she had no idea. But Corey would likely be in the Gryffindor Towers, but she was pretty sure the boy wasn't a lion, and she didn't want to leave Arianna alone with him, not when he didn't seem to be taking it very seriously.
"No, I know you're not love," Felicity answered the girl. Arianna wasn't quite barking mad yet, just a little out of it. Her rolling around on the floor in a fit of laughter was enough proof, and where were the bubbles coming from? Obviously her mouth, but what had she done, or someone else done to her to make her do that? They were kind of neat, but it wasn't really time to enjoy the little things.
"What is it?" she asked, not willing to just say "here, take this." Holding her hand out for the bottle to take a look at it, she wondered where it had come from. Being the boy had been near the Eagle's bag, perhaps he'd found it there, or what if it had just randomly been on the floor? But, thinking about it, with the bubbles escaping the dark haired girl's mouth, she had to either have taken something or been hexed. Sure she wouldn't do it to herself though.

Arianna caught the two exchanging something and, of course, she had to see what it was. Her giggles halted suddenly, as though someone had found a switch and just turned them off. She turned her eyes up to see what it was the dark mist was handing over to the dragon. It was swirly and didn't even resemble a bottle, but from the color Arianna could tell what it was. And she wanted more.
"Oooh! I know what that is!" she pushed herself onto all fours and stopped to get her balance. That wasn't going to work, so she grabbed onto the dragon's legs and tried to pull herself up, one arm daring to let go every so often to reach for the bottle.
"That stuff is gooooood," Arianna proclaimed, her eyes trying to focus on the bottle as she made a lunge for it. "You should try some.....It makes you feel all....bubbly."
Yet another bubbled escaped from her mouth along with that last work. Seeing the irony, Arianna fell into giggles again. This made her lose her balance and she was on the floor once more.
