There was something in the air at Hogwarts, excitement? Annoyance? Love? Complete and total… Boredom? All very, very possible considering the amount of students and faculty that were always milling about the place at all hours of the day. As far as Guy was concerned, only three out of the four things seemed to be affecting him. Excitement, for this was his final year of schooling. Annoyance – that he still had to go through one more year and boredom… because he just couldn’t wait to get out. He knew it was bad, fourth day back and he was already incredibly bored with himself and his school work. All of these reasons were what brought Guy out to the courtyard on a lovely warm afternoon. He desperately wished he would have been able to bring his skateboard with him, but he had broken his new deck the day he left for Hogwarts and didn’t have time to get a new one to bring. His dad had promised a new one, but really he had only broken it five days ago. Finding the perfect board took time. Guy was still impatient for the new arrival and had to distract himself some how. He would have gone up to the room of requirement to practice some drumming, but the day was warm and the weather nice so he decided to spend some time outside. Guy threw on a pair of clean jeans and an old skateboard shirt before ducking through the portrait hole in the common room and heading down to the grounds. The soft breeze felt good, ruffling his hair just slightly as he walked along, his hands in his pockets. Seeing that the courtyard was barren except for him, he randomly yelled out. “ Hello! “ He listened to the soft echoing sound of ‘ helloooo ‘ played itself back to him and grinned slightly. “ I’m bored! “ He then yelled out, once again listening to the echoing sounds. It was strangely fascinating, and he found his oddly entertaining. That and the fact that it made him feel like a kid again. A worry free kid. The grin was still on his face until he turned to see someone else enter the courtyard. He faltered a little, but smiled at the person anyway. ((OPEN ))

Just off under a tree, Seanna sat, flipping listlessly through her homework notes. However much the girl knew that she had to do it, however much she knew that there wouldn't be a miracle and her homework decided to magically be all finished, Seanna was happy to find distractions from not doing it.
Playing with grass was always fun and Seanna was picking at some while she flipped through her notes, the notes finally taking leave and the grass holding her interest more. Picking up a few long lengths of it, Seanna twisted them together to make some kind of something, making a knot in the middle to hold it there. The Huffle decided that this was way more fun than forcing herself to actually do homework.
Notes falling off her lap and onto the ground, Seanna found some ever more longer pieces of grass and added them to her creation as well. That was when she heard a voice call out hello and saying that they were bored. Walking out from behind the tree, Seanna spotted Guy from her classes and grinned at him. "Hello!" Seanna called back, wandering over to him with her grass creation. "Me too!" Seanna grinned, "Oddly enough, I'm finding that grass is actually not so boring" The Huffle girl giggled, holding out her grass creation for Guy to see.

Guy's grin widened once again as he recognized the person to be Seanna. Good... at least it wasn't some stuck up professor (not that there were very many of those around Hogwarts). He was lucky that it was only Seanna. He wouldn't want to make a fool of himself in front of a teacher. As he thought on it, though, he didn't think a teacher would care too much about him randomly yelling in the courtyard. Maybe they would yell back? He chuckled at the thought as he walked towards Seanna a bit more to see what she was holding. It was made of grass, he could tell. He just didn't know what it was exactly.
" Grass can be very entertaining, indeed. What's this you've got here? " He asked as he looked at her some kind of something made out of bits of grass. " Very lovely, I must say. " He commented to the Hufflepuff lass with another smile. He felt the wind ruffle up his hair a little bit again and noticed some bits of paper floating about. " Are those yours? " He asked, motioning to the papers around them.

"What?" Seanna asked, alarmed when Guy said something about papers. The Huffle girl remembered that her homework notes did kind of just slip out of her lap, but she didn't realize that there was a slight wind around to pick them up and leave a paper trail around the courtyard. "I hope not... " Seanna trailed off, tallying up what she should do, keep playing with her grass thing or pick up the papers to see if they were actually hers.
Papers finally winning over, Seanna sent Guy a sheepish smile. Wrapping the grass thing around her wrist that had now became a bracelet, the girl bent down and picked up the few papers near them. Brown eyes scanning over them, her face fell when she read the days lesson from Potions. 'I guess they are" Seanna told Guy, still with a sheepish smile on her face. "My homework notes fell off my lap when I found the grass to be more entertaining then the homework" Seanna shrugged at this point. It wasn't her fault that she got really distracted, really quickly.
Quickly picking up the remaining notes in the yard, Seanna shoved them into her pocket and returned back to Guy. "This here, was a grass thing" Seanna told the Gryffindor, turning the conversation completely over to the other more, important topic at hand. "Now, it's more like a grass bracelet" Really, that was more interesting than homework notes. Though, that did leave an imprint in her mind to check up on other notes behind the tree she left a little while ago to make sure they were still in the same spot.

Guy quirked his head as he watched a leaf floating in the wind. He turned his attention back to the topic at hand - Seanna's notes... or homework or whatever it was. He grabbed one and handed it to the Hufflepuff once she decided that they were hers. " Well, there you are, Marcellus. " He said, calling her by her last name for fun.
" Grass is more exciting than homework. " He added in with a small nod of his head as Seanna told him that her notes fell off of her lap when she grew more entertained by the grass than her homework. He was glad for the company of the Hufflepuff girl, the grass might be rather entertaining but it was made more exciting by having someone to discuss the grass with. His mind was jumbled with thoughts of grass, papers floating around and his broken deck. He sighed slightly, longing for a new skateboard. He shook his head, thinking he could distract himself for a while.
" A grass thing, huh? " Guy said with a smile to the girl. " And I see that it is now a bracelet. You certainly worked your magic. " He commented to her with another grin.

"Why, thank you Styles" Seanna said, taking the piece of parchment that Guy held out for, quickly scanning them over in case she had written something down there that she shouldn't have. Seanna breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that it was only again something to do with Potions, she was sure she left her doodles on her History Of Magic notes and she was sure she had left them in her bag, though, she wasn't completely sure. Not that her doodles actually meant anything, they were just doodles, there was really nothing much news worthy on them.
Returning Guy's grin, Seanna plopped down onto the courtyard's lawn of opportunities. "Magic has nothing to do with me making great grass things" Seanna told Guy in mock seriousness. "It was my creative artistic talent that had something to do with making them, and a bit of boredom" The Huffle added the last bit on as an afterthought. Brown eyes looking up at Guy, she threw him another silly grin. "Grass things can be made into anything, really" Seanna didn't know what it was, but she was certainly a bit hyper that afternoon, and anyone that knew her knew that hyperness and her shouldn't belong together.
"You can create grass necklaces, rings, anklets, even grass headbands" Seanna continued on with her explanation on grass things, picking out a few good long pieces of grass from the lawn again. Weaving them together, she made enough so she could tie it around her head. "And for an added effect, a leaf could be added to the grass headband to make it a grassyleaf headband" Seanna giggled again, reaching over near Guy's foot for the leaf that she spotted and tucking that into the front of the grass headband.
"You're certainly right, grass is extremely more exciting than what homework could ever be" Seanna answered, brown eyes looking up at Guy with amusement dancing through them. "So Mr Styles, what would you like me to make you out of the infamous grass today?" The Huffle girl asked Guy, already beginning to pick out the more, nicer pieces of grass for the next creation-- those were the ones without any dirt over them.

' Why thank you Styles. ' Guy grinned as she addressed him as Styles. It wasn't something he heard to often, but he liked the sound of it. " No problem... wouldn't want all of your notes fluttering about in the wind. " Really, he guessed it would have been kind of fun to let some papers loose and watch them as they floated around, but Seanna's notes didn't really sound like the paper he should be doing that with. Maybe some other time.
Guy watched as the Hufflepuff girl sat down and continued to scan the grass whilst talking to him. " Your creative artistic talent? Yes... let's call it that. " He gave a small smirk at the girl, clearly teasing her. It had to take some talent to make grass creations, even just a little at the least. It took skill to pick out the specific pieces to use, tie them together and make them look like something tangible. It was obviously clear that skill was involved. " I wonder if anyone's ever had a grass crown? " He pondered out loud as he plopped down on the ground next to the girl and absently picked at the grass.
He glanced over to Seanna with an amused expression as she told him the many things that could be made out of grass. She had a good point, and a headband out of grass did sound oddly interesting. " A grassyleaf headband sounds rather good to me. " He mentioned with a light chuckle that joined her giggle. He pondered over her question about what he wanted her to make him. " Hm... crown or ring, I can't decide. Crown, ring, crown ring. It's too hard. You pick. " He said with another grin at Seanna.
It was fun just to be silly for a while.

Seanna poked her tongue out at Guy as he teased her about her so- called talent. Okay, so grass making really wasn't a creative talent, anyone could make a grass thing, provided they had the right kind of grass and didn't break any of the grass while they were weaving it together. That was the hardest bit Seanna found with the grass making-- trying not to break any bits off as she tied a knot in the middle of the grass things.
"No, we wouldn't want my notes fluttering in the wind, especially the ones with the awful doodles on" Seanna let slip, the girl was hopeless with drawing and it showed in the small doodles that were jotted throughout some of her homework notes. Small tress, butterflies, little hearts, but some of her homework notes held things that was only meant for her eyes only, like things to do with Hufflepuff, but she was certain that they were actually zipped up in her bag.
Seanna studied Guy when he told her to pick a grass thing for him. It was a hard decision for the girl, as she took in the boy's profile, noting his piercings and thinking that they complimented his long hair. "How 'bout both? I can't choose either" Seanna told him, finding it hard to pick just one grass thing for Guy to wear. "A ring would compliment your pierced ears, but a crown would finish the look off. Then you could claim you were a grass King" Seanna finished off, offering another silly giggle towards him.

The smallest of smirks fell across the Gryffindor's face when Seanna said something about her notes with awful doodles on them fluttering about. He actually couldn't blame her, his drawing was pretty terrible and his father owned an art shop and was an artist himself. Guy hadn't possessed any of his father's talent in that area, but he had gotten to be pretty talented musically through practice. " Awful doodles, eh? They seemed doodly enough to me. " He told her, his face breaking back into the careless grin it was accustomed to.
He played aimlessly with the grass, picking out pieces and tossing them over his shoulder if they were broken, and making a small pile with the good pieces in front of Seanna. " Both? That sounds excellent. I'd love to be a Grass King. " He took a bow, as much as he could sitting down. " What would you be? Grass court jester? " He teased with another smile and a soft laugh. He could imagine Seanna with a jester's hat on made purely of grass. What an image that would be.

Starting on the grass crown first, just because that one would be the hardest to do and would take the longest, Seanna reached over to the pile of grass that Guy had picked out for her and she carefully picked out the best pieces for the grass crown. As engrossed with picking out the best pieces of grass as she was, Seanna didn't take in what Guy said about her doodles until her head was up from the grass pickings and looking at him.
"Wait... you saw them?" Seanna asked Guy, a faint tinge of pink appearing on her face. The Huffle only hoped that Guy only saw the ones that held the little hearts, butterflies and trees on her pieces of parchment that had floated throughout the courtyard and not the ones that held the Hufflepuff information. Not that no one would find that much on the list that held the Huffle information, it was just a list of the Huffle students for her prefect duties.
Seanna felt her face flush again with that awful pink color when Guy mentioned something about being a court jester. Most times Seanna liked playing the fool, it was more exciting than being a stuffy so and so who didn't know how to have fun or how to make fun of themselves in the process. "Well, a grass court jester does sound like fun, but I've already got my grass headband" Seanna pointed out, not sure where she was going with the whole headband thing and just making it up as she went along.
"Which means, that I would be a grass goddess" Seanna answered, poking her tongue out at Guy, it was a perfect solution, even if only she thought so.

Guy watched with interest as Seanna began to take several strands of grass from the pile he had made and started to make something from it. He adjusted himself so that he was laying down flat on his stomach, one hand propping his head up while his other hand fished out the good pieces of grass as he had been doing before. ' Wait... you saw them? ' Guy held out with the act, nodding solemnly as he looked up to Seanna. Finally after a few seconds, though, he shook his head and said, " Nah, I was just playin' with ya. But I'm sure they would be very doodly. " He said reassuringly. Guy wouldn't want her to think that he would insult her doodles.
Guy hardly noticed Seanna's blush, one he wasn't all that observant and two he was still busying himself with looking through the grass and picking out pieces for the little pile. ' but I've already got my grass headband. ' " Ah, good point. " He said with a small smile. He felt very childish to be playing in the grass, and even moreso as he spotted something shiny in the grass in front of him. Reaching down for it, he retrieved a silver sickle. " A Goddess deserves a reward for her... " He fumbled for a word. " Goddessly deeds. "
He flicked the sickle over at Seanna with a small smile.

Seanna's brown eyes grew wide when Guy flicked the silver sickle towards her. "Goddessly deeds or not, this goddess doesn't need any money as a reward for something that she's doing for free" The Huffle said seriously, trying not to touch the sickle that laid near her shoe. Seanna continued to weave together the good pieces of grass, making one side of the crown so far for Guy.
"'Sides, finders keepers. It's supposed to be good luck if you find money that's not yours" Or well, that's what her Father always told her. Even so, Seanna wasn't going to take the money Guy offered her, she was making his crown and ring just because she could and wanted to. Plus, it was fun and the Huffle hadn't had much of that for awhile, it was kind of refreshing to feel so carefree without any worry at all.
Seanna's face flushed again, and the girl was pretty certain by now her face was a scarlet color that probably matched that of the Gryffindor main color, when Guy told her that he had seen her doodles. "Just as long as you don't... " Seanna began, not minding that he had seen her doodles, but hoping he wouldn't show anybody else.
The Huffle's ears had deceived her again and Seanna let out a indignant "Hey!" Before throwing a piece of grass at Guy, upset with herself for thinking and believing that Guy had seen her doodles. Usually she was pretty good at reading people, but the Huffle was certain that Guy had seen her doodles, despite not knowing how he had got a hold on them. Seanna figured in the end, that maybe the scent of the grass was throwing her senses off a bit.
"So, Mr Guy" The brown haired girl started to say, bringing the subject back to the matter instead of on her silly doodles. "Would you like some leaves attached to your crown as well?" Seanna asked him, the Huffle was thinking that maybe adding some leaves might make the grass crown look a bit different than the normal crowns you saw, but she wanted to make sure Guy wanted some leaves on his crown first, before she went ahead and added them.

Guy's light brown eyes flashed up to the girl's and he smiled his crooked smile up at the girl when she refused to take the sickle. " Payment? Ah. Well, thank you, then..." He said, trailing off as he fished the sickle back out from the grass where it had landed when he flicked it at the girl.
He watched as Seanna strung together a few more pieces of grass to form one side of the crown. " Good luck, huh? I've got all the luck in the world. " He told her with in a joking tone of voice. In all reality, he guessed he didn't have all the luck in the world. If anyone, he supposed the person who had an infinite amount of felix felicis would be the luckiest person in the world. Everything would go their way as they wanted it to, which wasn't the case for Guy. His family situation hadn't gone as expected, but he adjusted. He had grown close to people and had things go as he hadn't anticipated. But Guy is pretty good about change. Most of the time.
As the Hufflepuff girl blushed again, Guy noticed. He only smiled in response, the smile widening into a grin as she threw some grass at him for messing with her.
He looked back up to her as she referred to him as Mr. Guy. What an odd name. The idea of leaves sounded interesting so he gave a light nod and answered, " Sure, why not. Want me to fetch some? " He asked, pointing over to a nearby tree.

Seanna stared at Guy while she tried to figure out what he meant by payment, then realizing that maybe he thought she was paying him? "No!, I'm not paying you, I'm giving you good luck" Seanna began, bending over and placing the grass crown on Guy's head, to see if it would fit or not, before she righted herself again to the position she was in before.
"My Father once told me that if you find money lying around, it's meant to bring the finder even more luck than they had before" Seanna shrugged, trying to explain herself. Carlo Marcellus was always telling her odd little bits of information and Seanna was always trying to figure out if they were true or not, or if her Father was just teasing her, like he seemed to enjoy doing.
"Whether it's true or not, that's up for you to decide" Seanna raised a eyebrow at Guy, it was always good to receive more luck than what one already had, she herself liked collecting things that could bring you luck, but those things never seemed to have worked for the Huffle girl in the past... maybe it was because she bought the lucky charms and not had them given to her. "Consider the sickle a special kind of luck" Seanna said, giving Guy another smile, while thinking the grass crown suited him.
"Nope, it's okay, I can get them" Seanna replied, turning around and crawling over to the tree where Guy pointed to. Brown eyes looking around, Seanna spotted a few brown ones, reddish-brown eyes, bright red ones, green ones and bundled them up in her pockets of her robes, before turning and crawling back to Guy, sitting back in a crossed-legged position, fishing the leaves out of her pockets and dumping them out on the ground for Guy to see. "So, which ones would you like to have on your crown, Sir Guy?" The Huffle asked, thinking that Sir Guy sounded more important than just plain old Mr Guy.

Guy flipped the silver coin over in his hands a couple of times before tossing it over his shoulder. Maybe Seanna's dad was right, finding money was lucky. And really, what was nicer than giving someone luck? Nothing, in Guy's opinion. He was tempted to look around for the sickle and toss it around a couple of times, maybe even put it up into a tree for a bird to find. But surely, a person could find more used for a sickle than a bird.
He looked up to see if he could catch a glance of his crown that Seanna has just put on his head. He couldn't see the crown, but he did get an eyeful of his hair. Brushing it out of his eyes, he looked back over to Seanna as she took the crown back and resumed working on it.
" Well, thank you for the luck. But maybe someone else can use it more? " He questioned with a smile. " I'm feelin' pretty lucky myself. I've already got a grass crown, afterall. What more could I need? " Sure, a million dollars would be pleasant, but he couldn't complain too much about how things were for him. " Oh, alright. " He said, feeling bad for Seanna doing all of the work, but at least he had offered something. He turned his head to the side, looking at the leaves she had picked out. " Sir Guy, that's new. " He said with a laugh before he went on. " Well, Madame Seanna, I rather like the red and green ones. " He said, pointing to the odd amount of red leaves along with the green ones as well.
