Carys was bundled up against the chill. She made sure that just before she had left the common room, her thermos was in her hand. Thankfully she had managed to get a request off to one of the house elves, and a rich and creamy concoction of hot chocolate was contained in the thermos. A perfect accessory to being a spectator at the Quiddy match today.
The twelve year old walked down to the pitch. She didn't have any interest in playing the game. But watching Quidditch, well that was an entirely different manner! She quietly climbed the stands in the Gryffindor section and watched as the game began. Carys had spread a large fleece blanket over the stretch of bench and it provided some small comfort. Man would her behind be cold when this game was over! Carys whistled as she watched the Gryffindor players zoom across the wintry sky. At least she could lend some support to the team, even if she wasn't a player. "Go Gryffindor!" she cheered. She couldn't help it, she had Gryffindor pride!

Before the team left the lockers, Anna gave the small pre-game speech that was traditional for a captain to do. Of course she wasn't the best speaker in the world but why not? "Alright guys here we go! I don't think I have to talk about the last game and don't any of you start thinking about it alright? That game already passed so lets just focus on beating Slytherin. Their last game wasn't the best but we shouldn't let our guard down because of that. We've been working hard and I know some of you are playing different postions but lets go out their and show them how the lions really play!"
Well, hopefully that got the team ready for the game as they all gathered their broom and headed for the pitch. Taking off, Anna took her position with a beaters bat in hand. After shaking hands with Charlie and the balls were released the gryff took off for one of the bludgers and smaked it toward an emerald robe figure nearby. Though during all of this, she was still worried about the position changes that had to be made. Not that Anna didn't have faith in her own team, but sometimes playing a new role was difficult.
