"Henry John Lordings Jr." Henry said with a laugh as he heard the disk shatter. He hadn't watched, but he was impressed all the same with her skills. "Most people call me Henry, but a few call me John, take your pick."
He flicked his wand at the next disk and watched as it flew out over the water to begin it's pattern. This one took up position a ways above the water and began to move, just as the last one did. The difference was that, this time, the disk was roughly fifty feet out and was tracing a large star pattern as opposed to the circle before, but in the same manner. He turned his attention back to G and applied his next question.
"So...why exactly did you want to learn how to use a sword?"

"Pleasure to meet you Mr. Henry." She said as she studied the moving target. She took her time studying it's movement, visualizing the hit, feeling what it would feel like when she fire at it. "Like I said before..." She shot a stone out over the water and shattered the disk. A smirk of satisfaction crossed her face.
She looked at him. "It'd impress Brother Jacob. Heck, it'd just about impress everyone I know back home." She loaded another rock into the sling. "And, I figure it'd be a mighty useful thing to know about." It would be useful because in the mock battles back home their battles often involved dueling one other with wooded sticks and plastic swords. If she knew how to properly handle a sword it would give her a nice advantage over the side.

Henry chuckled at the words Mr. Henry; no one had ever referred to him in such a way before, and it was amusing to no end that anyone would think to. He took note of the sound of the shattering disk, but again didn't look as it happened. He flicked his wand at the next disk, and said:
"It's just Henry, no mister required."
The next disk flew sixty or so feet out and began shooting from side to side in a straight line parallel to the water's surface so fast that it was little more than a blur. The disk would stop just long enough at each end of it's path to change direction and then it would be off again.
"This one's next." He said, smiling at her. "You mentioned earlier that you thought you couldn't use a wand, or something to that effect...what makes you think that?"

This one was a little more tricky. It would take a spot of good luck to hit it while it was moving so she would have to hit it during its brief pause. She guessed about how far out it was and estimated how long it paused at each end. She swung it twice in practice. "Well you can't use a wand outside of school, can you? Nobody that I can tell about it will be impressed with a nicely carved stick, will they?" she spoke without taking her eyes off the target. " 'Sides, I'm far from the most talented with it." Her eyes locked onto where it stopped, she swung experimentally a few more times, then as it approached the end she swung and shot a rocket out over the water as she crouched down all in one fluid movement. It flew only a few inches above the water and stuck the target towards the right side edge, but cracked it all the same.

"Very nice." Henry said; this one he had bothered to watch. It was one of the first real tricky ones.
He wasn't at all familiar with slingshots, but the principals of any projectile weapon were quite similar when it came to aiming. Firearms tended to get tricky with fast moving targets as well, and Henry had plenty of experience trying to get stuff done with those. For this reason, Henry could appreciate the difficulty of that last shot, and had designed the challenge so for that reason.
"Right, next up."
Henry flicked his wand at the next disk. This one was where it got interesting. It flew about forty-five feet out and remained stationary for a moment before flying further away with speed comparable to that of the last one. It stopped at about sixty feet out, and then flew back to it's post at the forty-five foot mark. It began repeating this in the same manner as the last target.
"You know, I'm the kind of person who really doesn't care about people poking fun at me...most people around here think that's a little odd. I don't know why I thought about that just now, heh...What about you? That sort of stuff bother you?"

She grinned a bit at his compliment, it had been a tricky one. This one seemed much more straight forward to her. It's position did not change other than the distance so it was a simple matter of aiming at it when it was the furthest away. It's speed when it was coming back towards her only would make sure she smashed it.
As she planned her shot she also reflected on how this was an odd thing to think of and wondered if she had offended him in some way. "Well words are words. Far as I can figure it, you can say just about anything but it's what you do that has meaning. That's not to say that it won't get to me to sometimes."
Her shot planned out she shot the stone out. It hit the target towards the edge at about fifty feet out with it moving back towards her. But with the speed of her shot and of the target she managed to hit it. Her years of practice paid off.
“But I’d like to think I’m pretty level headed about most things like that.” She waited for the final target. She had had to endure a good amount of mocking throughout her life. When she was younger she had dealt with it by just beating up anybody who said a bad word about her, but now she was older she had learned to ignore it for the most part. She still lost her temper sometimes, but who didn’t?

"Indeed?" Henry said in rhetoric, flicking his wand at the final disk.
He flicked his wand at the final disk. He didn't need anymore information from G to know what he was going to do. This last disk was simply going to test her skill. It soared out over the water and took up position about six feet off of the water, facing them. It was about two-hundred feet away from them, though remained absolutely stationary. For a firearm, this distance wouldn't be a problem, but for a slingshot, Henry wasn't so sure. If G could do it, it would be impressive, if she couldn't, it wouldn't matter. Since this distance was the equivalent of almost sixty-one meters, it was a tall order.
"Last one," He said. "let's see what you can do with this one."
