Lainee laughed when she saw what the kids were to learn. She was sure most would forget when they needed it, but alas she was to teach it. Lainee opened her door the muggle way and stood next to it waiting.

Koren walked into the classroom with her normal air of superiority. Her bag was slung casually over her shoulder and her robes were all in neat order. Her blond hair was loose but was obviously well cared for as it was glossy and not one tangle could be seen. She didn't say anything as she walked past the professor and took her seat somewhere in the middle of the class. Potions was an okay class in her opinion. There was no way she would have remembered everything she needed for one potion, but that what books were for. She took her book out of her bag after searching through it, and placed it squarely in front of her. She placed her hands on top of the desk and threaded her fingers while crossing her legs beneath the table. So all in all Koren was looking very much like a lady should.

Lianna's tired and quiet figure came around the corner up from the Potions classroom. she knew she would have to pay attention and pass this lesson, but, she couldn't promise herself she'd manage it. Ministry were all over the place, still, and they scared her. It all still scared her, but she wasn't showing the full extent of such.
She hadn't eaten much, and had completely forgotten to review her curriculum paprer, so she was completely clueless as to what they were...learning, today. She caught eye of the Slytherin girl who always seemed on a high horse enter before she reached the door. "Morning professor..." She murmured as she pondered where to sit this lesson.

The small brunette slipped silently into the classroom after carefully checking the corridor outside. No ministry people down in the dungeons...right now, at least. Abby took a swift glance around the room and found Lianna standing as well, obviously trying to find a place to sit. "Where do you want to sit?" she asked, standing beside her and looking at her choices. She held a tight grip upon her bag's strap which hung from her right shoulder, the bag holding some potion ingredients, a quill, bottle of ink, parchment, and textbook.

Samuel wasn't even worried about Potions. In fact, it was beginning to be his favorite subject. He seemed to think Potions was easy, but what we're they going to do today? He then walked in and sighed. He looked around and started to walk near the front desk. Why he always sat front, who knew. Samuel then sat down and waited for what would happen.

Niyah snaked aorund the cornor of the corridor and walked into the door on pins and needles. She was trying to see if there were in the school like those who killed the lady. The old lady who she had never even met. Potions was also on her mind as well. She was not really good at it, but she wasn't really good in any of her classes, but this one more so. She had to remember what to put in and how to cop something, and if you messed up even once then the whole potion was ruined. Niyah normally got distracted and couldn't focus enough to study for the class. She also couldn't follow directions to the T but she figured she would try today. Her sister would have another talk with her if she didn't.
Niyah sat in the first row but didn't say hi to anybody as she normally would have. Instead she just sat and waited for the lesson to begin. Hopefully today would be the day where she did something right.

The sound of Abby's voice made the young girl smile alittle. "I dunno...I know I hate this class as mucha s I do Doggerell's and would rather be outside..." Lianna replied glumly, but her smile remained. "Least theres someone in here I actually talk to." She claimed quietly, her eyes moving briefly to each of the others before she shrugged and claimed a random empty chair in the third row.

Abigail shrugged; she didn't like Potions either, but she didn't mind Doggerel's class that much. Sitting beside Lianna, the Huffle dropped her bag on her desk and emptied out most of its contents. She set up her notes, quill, and ink bottle, preparing for the day's lesson while carrying on her conversation with Lianna. "At least it's only an hour and a half long, and personally, I'd rather not be outside." Ever since the murder, Abigail had refrained from leaving the confines of the castle walls. She had a fear in the back of her mind that the killer roamed somewhere along the edge of the grounds and though she wouldn't admit it (even to herself), the first year had remained inside the castle since the lockdown.

...rather not be outside
"Why not?" Lianna questioned, merely nodding at the mentioned time restraints of the room. Who wouldn't want to be outside, it was wonderful, bright, sunny...wonderful. It was perfect and yet her friend would rather be inside. That just seemed...weird, crazy and stupid, but, she'd let Abby be incharge of Abby.
Removing her supplies from her bag she sighed and glanced at the wall clock. This was going to take way too long.

Abigail glanced over at Lianna, wishing to ignore her question but realizing it would be too obvious. Averting her gaze to her cauldron, the Huffle only shrugged and answered with a feeble, "I just don't feel like going outside." She looked up and stared at the front of the room as if nothing was wrong before looking back down at her parchment, picking up her quill and dipping it in the ink, and scribbling a heading across the top of the page.

"Okay class let's get started." Lainee lifted an elegant eyebrow at the young students. "Who has iniative? Who knows what today lesson is?" Lainee walked around the class looking at each student. "Who wants to win their house 5 easy points? Who knows the answer?"

Lianna nodded in reply, and was about to say something before professor began class. She gave a small half smile to her friend before trying to recall the day's lesson. She raised her hand cautiously, never having been one to actually answer questions, especially not here, or History.
"Umm...I-I think, it was the hair...producing, solution?" Lianna offered, her voice quiet.

Mark had decided before class to take the seat on the opposite side of the room then Lianna. Not because he was afraid of her (which he mildly was), but because she 'knew'. Thats what 'scared' him, he was terrified that she would tell everyone, even though he was certain that they were all mildly suspiscious of his well being.
Instead of actually paying attention in this class, he chewed his bottom lip intently. Goodness, some things never changed...

Lainee laughed. "Close, but not quite. I'll give your house 5 points anyways. Good job Hufflepuff! It's hair raising potion. Does anyone know why we have this potion?"
{Come on if I can be creative so shall you. There are no dumb answers...unless you make it so.}

"It's for people who get scared but don't have hair," Abby whispered to Lianna hoping the professor wouldn't hear her. "It provides the hair so they can have hair stand on end." Surpressing a giggle at her small bit of humor, Abigail looked back at the professor. She didn't know the real answer and had no idea where to venture a guess, so instead scribbled down "Hair-Raising Potion" on her parchment and drew a line beneath it.
