"He's not really all that nameless if it's Mike," Charlie replied after a moment's thought. Who else would it be? It was an educated guess, edging out all the Hufflepuff girls and leaving with one guy she knew had serious rep problems. She would especially know, since Drew belonged in the "I hate Mike Rolan Club". "What's up with that guy, anyways? Everytime I see him, I could swear I see some brown on his nose."

Dragos stopped smiling the moment Charlie said Mike's name. Maybe Ivy wasn't overstating matters. Dragos turned around to face Charlie and scoffed slightly when she asked what was wrong with him. Apparently she'd never actually met the boy. "He steals your girlfriend while you're away for a few months," Dragos replied bitterly, but also with a very evident tone of sadness in his voice. Stupid Mike.

Charlie couldn't help but laugh. It wasn't a gesture of cruelty, she just saw things as she did. "I don't think it's just him. It's got to be the girl's fault, too, right?" She didn't know one lick of things when it came to relationships. Despite anything, she was fine with it.

"You'd think the girl might have been smarter than that though," Dragos muttered under his breath. He turned away from Charlie again and continued on searching the room. Finally, Dragos found a wall, and he shone his wand all long it, to see if there was a light switch or something. No light switch was found, but there was something else. Another door.
"Hey, check this out," the Croatian teenager called over his shoulder to the younger Slytherin, "There's another door."

Okay, so maybe she knew a smidge about relationships. But it was merely secondhand knowledge. "Don't put too much trust in that, dude. My brother Chris used to be a player in high school-- he's cooler now, though-- and he had tricks up his sleeve. Some girls fall too easy for it. That whole romantic schtick, know whatta mean?"
Though she didn't saw anything after that as she noticed the door as well. "Looks like things are gettin' more complicated."

Dragos decided to ignore Charlie's comment, although it did give him a tiny little speck of hope that Mike could change and Vanessa would see him for what he really was. But now, he'd focused his attention on the new door they'd discovered. Reaching down carefully, Dragos turned the doorknob. It was unlocked (probably because someone thought that people wouldn't even be able to get in the first door) and the knob squeaked and made a kind of grinding noise as it turned. Dragos pushed the door open, and a rush of wind came out, blowing his hair into a mess. Sticking his wand in the room, Dragos' head slowly followed.
Peaking around the door, Dragos saw nothing again. Attempting to push the door open, Dragos found that it wouldn't budge anymore. "Must be something behind it," Dragos suggested. Looking down as he stepped in, the Slytherin boy stepped over a piece of wood that was lying on the ground in the doorway. "You comin'?" he asked Charlie.

Charlie looked on, catching wind of what was in front of them. It looked mysterious, but she didn't feel scared. Not yet. "Damn straight," she replied, a little too confidently. Stepping in, she minded the piece of wood. "What the heck is all of this?"

"I dunno, it's like a--" Dragos stopped mid-sentence and froze to the spot. A growling noise that was coming from the corner of this new room cut Dragos off. He turned his head to the side to whisper to Charlie. "Did you hear that?" he hissed.

Charlie was as still as a rock. The growling was one sound she never wanted to hear in her life. "I heard it," she said in a whisper. Her legs felt weak. The trembles traveled from her toes and slowly to the top of her head. The adrenaline was a danger sign. One would think it was an overreaction, but it seemed logical to her. She was afraid of dogs.

Bravely, Dragos soldiered on into the darkness, his wand out in front of him to light his way. In front of him, the growling was getting louder, but that didn't stop him. He was too intrigued to stop now, despite how totally scared out of his wits he was. Taking a couple steps closer, Dragos lowered his wand to see what was on the ground. And he saw a paw.

There was a tick tick tick in her heart. Or maybe not... but it felt like a bomb was going to explode in her head. Charlie stepped back, feeling the danger in the situation. Merlin, WHY?!? Why dogs AND the freakin' dark? Her immunity towards the darkness was failing. She wasn't sure how to handle both.
Her breathing felt heavy as her process of inhaling and exhaling was starting to be forgotten. "Can... we...g-get outta here now?" she said, her cool losing and ending. She couldn't hope up to this anymore. She stepped back again, trying to be as limber as she could, until one thing she had forgotten: the wood. She felt herself lose gravity for it, in which she would fall directly back, hitting her head on the door ajar, which closed itself with the force.
Double whammy.

"Govno!" Dragos yelled as he turned around just in time to see Charlie trip and crack her head off the door. He scrambled to her side and dropped down beside her, holding her up slightly. He swore again in Croatian, using a slighty more vulgar word this time. Dragos looked down at Charlie, trying to make sure she was OK. "Charlie! Charlie, can you hear me?!" Dragos called. It looked as if she had hit her head rather hard. Growling from the corner had intensified slightly, and Dragos swore again. He reached up to try the knob, but the door had locked itself. "Govno!" Dragos yelled again, reefing on the door, trying to get it open. ((BTW, Govno means EDIT: a bad word that Charlie won't let me say so I'm changing it because she told me too ))

(lol. For GMod purposes, I suggest you edit the translation... ) The bang sounded worse than it was. It shook and rattled her brain, but she only felt a bump's worth of pain. "I'm alright, man, just get the door open!" She said urgently as she touched her head. Hmm... was that sweat or blood at the back of her head? She didn't know. The growling felt deafening and the creature was awakening more to their movement. Scrapes of the floor could be heard, and she knew it was planning for it's advance. It could smell her fear.

(Meh lol)
Dragos' looked over his shoulder quickly and the sound of scraping. That was definitely not a good sound. Still fooling with the door, Dragos gave up trying to open it and pulled Charlie out of the way so he could blast it open again. "Reducto!" he screamed, blowing the door out of his way. The loud noise seemed to anger the creature in the corner even more, as Dragos heard angry snarling and heard the sound of paws scraping even faster. A bi of light was shining through the other open door and Dragos saw for a split second the creature that was attacking, although he didn't really know what it was. A big dog maybe? Unlikely, but one could never be sure in Hogwarts.
Then the teeth hit.
Digging into Dragos' ankle (the one that had previously been broken) and he let out a scream of pain. He kicked the creature off with his good foot, and pulled himself and Charlie out of the room, and then back out into the corridor. Desperately, Dragos pushed what was left of the doors shut and leaped back against the dungeon wall. "Charlie are you OK?" he asked again, panting.
(Haha, I felt like spicing it up a bit. We aren't gonna get in trouble for this, are we? XD)

She wished she was okay. The pain from her head only distracted her a bit, but it didn't erase the image in her head, seeing Dragos getting bit didn't help her phobia one bit. She was up on her feet by the time they escaped the place, but her legs wiggled again as she lost control.
"Wh-What the hell?!" She sputtered out finally, her tone angry and furious. A throb came along with the outburst, and she touched her head. Now in better light, she could see that blood had exited her wound. She leaned against the wall. She was hating this night already.
(EDIT: Because it's the rules.)
