Normally, Izzy would've been concerned for anyone who was in the Ravenclaw boy's current position... had they not been rude to her moments before they wound up on the floor. She had been frustrated and somewhat freaked out by the staircase's trick and had wanted nothing more than to find another way down to the ground floor, but had the boy helped her? No, of course not. And he hadn't even been polite about it. After that, Izzy felt no reason why she should show even a small ounce of compassion toward the Ravenclaw. Besides... he seemed fine anyway. A little angry, by the looks of it, but by no means physically hurt by his fall. Why he even fell in the first place, she had no idea.
And then out of the corner of her eye, the Gryffindor saw Hannah stepping between her and Brenton, reaching out toward the floor. Izzy raised an eyebrow and followed the path of the girl's outstretched hands, wondering what the Ravenclaw was after. She didn't have much time to see what the girl was looking for, however, as Hannah soon joined Jeremy on the floor. "You okay?" Izzy asked the blonde, concern finally showing on her face.
Before she could get a response, though, the Ravenclaw boy was insulting the trio. Izzy knew why he had called her stupid, as the two had made terrible first impressions of one another, but why was he so angry toward the other two? It sounded like at least Brenton and the Ravenclaw were good friends, based off of what the former had said, so why was the brown haired boy so angry? ...Maybe it was just an off day for him? Regardless, Izzy decided to keep her mouth closed instead of trying to defend herself. She didn't want to add fuel to the fire, and since Brenton knew the boy better than she did, the red head decided that it would probably be a better idea to let the Slytherin talk to his friend.

As Hannah took the opportunity to get around him and Izzy, he wondered what she was up to. And when she fell to the floor, Brenton immediately stepped forward to help her up. A floor was no place for a Princess to be located, especially in the midst of onlookers. "Hannah, you alrigh'?" he asked, holding his hand out to her. She really shouldn't be on the floor, and just what made her leap forward like that?
But his attention was soon taken by Jeremy with his tone. That cut a little deep as he didn't know what he'd done, but whatever. Jeremy had been in a strange mood this semester anyway. "Jeremy mate, cu' i'," he told the boy. In front a group of girls and everything and he was taking his attitude just a bit far. Glancing back at the girl's, Brenton shifted closer to Jeremy, and sat down near him. Whatever was wrong with the boy he was going to have to knock it off, what about the girls? Just what was wrong with him?
"Izzy, this is Jeremy," he continued, giving an odd look at Jeremy. He must have been really uncomfortable on that chair of his. "Jeremy, this is Izzy, she's looking for a way downstairs, but she and Hannah are gonna help me look for Archimedes firs'." He couldn't remember if he ever told the boy with big ears about the double-ended newt, but here they were, talking. If not, it'd just be a surprise.

Hannah turned herself over so that she wasn't facing the dusty floor anymore, but instead was facing the upside down chair and the Ravenclaw rolled her eyes at Jeremy-- feeling glad that he couldn't see her from beneath the chair-- when he called all of them stupid. Hannah had heard that same comment thrown at her over and over again that she was used to it by now, it was almost standard Jeremy.
"I'm okay" Hannah told Izzy and Brenton from the floor, her head turning to the bookshelf where she thought Brenton's pet might've gone under. "Your pet may not be, I think he got a bit of a fright when I made a grab for him" Hannah told Brenton, sort of explaining why she fell on the floor for. Grabbing Brenton's outstretched hand, she pulled herself up from the floor, so she could at least be in a sitting position.
Letting go of Brenton's hand, she looked over the chair while brushing her hair out of her eyes, brown eyes falling on Jeremy who was still on the floor. "Your looking pretty stupid yourself" Hannah piped back to Jeremy, giving him a small smile and a almost greeting. Hannah hadn't seen the other Ravenclaw boy since she got back and while he did look kind of stupid being on the floor, he also looked awfully cute with his face all bunched up in anger.

"Is that what attacked me?" Jeremy cried out, not sure who Archimedes was, but figuring he had to be whatever Hannah was talking about. All Jeremy knew was everyone was being mean to him and some THING had tried to bite his arm off. In fact, Jeremy was pretty sure Brenton had sicked the beast on him.
Jeremy almost yelled back at all of them, but lost his ability to speak when Hannah smiled at him. She called him stupid back and while it hurt, that tiny bit of rationality he possessed pointed out that he had used the name first. If he didn't like it, Hannah probably didn't either, he thought.
"What's it doing here anyway?" he asked, trying his best to still be angry, but finding it hard.

In all honesty, Izzy could've cared less what the boy's name was. As of now, the Ravenclaw wasn't someone she planned on talking to very much, so there was no need to know his name. That didn't mean that she didn't appreciate Brenton's effort to introduce the two, though; it had been the polite thing to do, which only made Izzy more confused about Slytherin. She'd heard tons of bad things about the house, but the second year was making a good impression on her. He seemed nice, something that she hadn't realized a Slytherin was capable of doing. Last month, she had run into a group of older snakes who had given her a hard time. Luckily, she had gotten away from them unharmed after making a rude gesture toward them. Even more luckily, she hadn't seen them around the castle or its grounds since.
"Yeah, we've already met," Izzy said, a hint of anger in her voice: she didn't let go of grudges easily. She crossed her arms over her chest as she looked at Jeremy for a split second before Hannah mentioned Brenton's pet. The Gryffindor's green eyes began scanning the immediate area hoping that Archimedes wouldn't be too far away from the group yet. "Which way did he go?" she asked the blonde, hoping that Hannah had seen where the newt had scrambled off to.

"You saw him?" he asked Hannah eagerly as he nearly dropped to his knees before he remembered he was a Prince and princes didn't get down on their knees. Instead, he helped Hannah up and had to agree with her. Jeremy did look kind of stupid himself, but he wouldn't say that out loud. It wasn't something to be said between mates, instead he turned his attention to the floor as he tried to get a good look at stuff.
"He attacked ya?" Brenton asked confused. How could a newt attack someone? "I brough' him with me because some of the boys migh' hur' him in Slytherin if they found him," he answered the boy's next question. "They aren' always nice t' other pets, sometimes no' even their own." The Slytherin figured it was a just an older guy thing.
But he was more interested in knowing where Archimedes had scrambled off to as well.

Hannah shook her head, "Well, I thought I definitely saw your pet, the thing looked awfully like the newts I've seen in books and everything" Hannah said, turning away from Jeremy while she looked around to Izzy and Brenton. Scanning the piece of floor that Brenton had just helped her up from, her brown eyes didn't spot the animal anymore, just her print left in the dust that was laying on the floor.
"The thing went that way" Hannah answered Izzy, pointing a slim finger in the direction of underneath the bookshelf, then putting her arm to the side, turning back to the two and ignoring Jeremy for the meantime. "Like I said, I thought I saw your pet, but it could've been a mouse as well. Though, the thing really did look like the newts from the pictures... " Hannah added, shrugging her shoulder's. The thing that she saw could've been anything that had a tail attached to the bottom of it.
Hannah allowed herself a small smile when Brenton answered Jeremy's question. Hearing Brenton say that he had bought along his pet so it wouldn't get picked on by the older Slytherins, reminded her of the nickname they had both came up for him while they searched for the fairy's. In her own mind, Hannah had now changed Brenton's nickname from not only Prince of the Protector, but Prince of the Protector and Pets as well.

Hannah was ignoring him and the fact that he had been mauled by a vicious beast, but Jeremy didn't really care. At least Brenton was talking to him. Of course, it was probably just to put him at ease so that the Slytherin could stab him in the back later.
He was still on the floor and made no move to get up. Instead, he leaned back on his palms and listened to the exchange. He turned his head in the direction Hannah pointed and frowned at the bookself, wondering if the monster would come out and attack him again.

As soon as Hannah had announced where she had seen the newt run off to, Izzy was on the move. Even though she had heard the blonde continue with a "...thought I saw your pet, but it could've been a mouse..." her pace didn't slow. As long as there was a chance that the creature Hannah had seen could be the Slytherin boy's pet, Izzy would do her best to find it. She knew how upsetting it was to lose a pet--she'd had a golden retriever back when she lived in the United States and had been devastated when her parents made her get rid of him before they left for the UK--and the last thing she wanted was for Brenton to have to experience that.
Once she reached the bookshelf, Izzy got down on her hands and knees to look under it. Unfortunately, she found nothing under it other than dust. Frowning, the red head sat up. "Hmm..." she said, before crawling around the corner to check under the other bookshelves in other aisles. She looked under a few more, only finding dust, before she checked a bookshelf down the third aisle. Sitting perfectly still underneath it was, without a doubt, a newt. "Found it!" Izzy yelled before shoving her hand underneath the bookshelf to grab the thing. As she lunged forward, she banged her head on the large piece of furniture, causing her to let out an "ouch!" seconds before several books fell off of the shelves into the aisle.
Izzy pulled back and looked into her hand, only to find a dust bunny sitting there. "Eh," she muttered, immediately dropping the thing onto the floor and then looking back under the bookshelf, only to see the newt scurrying off into the next row.
Jumping up, the Gryffindor raced down the third aisle and turned down the next one, determined to get the thing before it disappeared again.

Jeremy thought that since everyone was ignoring him anyway, he might as well help look for the vicious monster that had nearly killed him. The pretty-mean girl was already looking under the bookshelves and Jeremy decided he could help her. Of course, when she found the newt, she ended up hurting herself and Jeremy had to laugh when she banged her head. At least it hadn't been him that time.
The newt escaped capture and scurried past the Ravenboy, causing him to scream like a girl and jump back just in case it tried to bite off his leg. In the process he banged into a bookshelf and creating his own little avalanche. He covered his head as the books came tumbling down. He would certainly be blaming that on the girl or the beast. He wasn't sure which one quite yet.

If Hannah said it was a Newt, then it was his pet newt. Even if she said it could've been something different, it didn't matter, if she thought she saw Archimedes then likely she did. And as his friend pointed in the direction she thought she saw it go in, his amber colored eyes followed, but he knew there wasn't much he would see. His glasses, as always were in their case in his back pocket. They weren't what Princes wore, princes didn't need glasses, they were supposed to be near perfect and an ailment such as poor eyesight wasn't going to stop him from being a Prince like in his story book. It just meant he'd have to take more time to find Archimedes, hopefully someone else would find him before they realized Brenton couldn't see very well.
Brenton watched the redhead walk toward a shelf (his eyesight wasn't that poor that he couldn't see at all) and he waited for her assessment. Suddenly, her movements sped up and next thing he heard was her shouting a good affirmative and he saw books flying to the ground and the boy scrambled over to pick them up. All they needed was for the librarian to get suspicious of them. Though, the laughter of Jeremy didn't escape his ears and he had to chuckle silently himself. It was funny that she'd bumped into the bookshelf, though not so much that she came up empty handed.
But what happened next sent Brenton into a fit of laughter that he had a hard time hiding. What in bloody hell was that noise Jeremy just made? But when more books fell, Brent shoved what he had in his hands on the one shelf and ran over to Jeremy and immediately began picking those up too.
"We need t' be sure we're no' causin' t' much trouble, we don' wan' the librarian to be askin' questions," he told the small group. "Bu' le's ge' t' work and catch that new'!" Though he felt his voice should've sounded more powerful, instead he had whispered his words somewhat excitedly. He felt like he was a Prince going on another mission.

Izzy was completely oblivious to the two boys as she followed after Brenton's newt. This little guy was fast, but she was determined to catch it before it wandered out of the library. If that were to happen, she would have very little hope about the Slytherin ever getting his pet back. Something so small wandering a castle so large, not to mention filled with a thousand students and staff? Surely it would be gone forever. And that was something that Izzy refused to let happen. She'd almost had it, had felt it with the tip of her fingers, and damn it, she was going to get it. She just needed to be quicker.
So she continued down another aisle of books, dodging a couple of older students as she sprinted toward the newt that was quickly scurrying over to another bookcase to go under. She was so close to it, but it was so close to the bookcase... would she be able to make it in time?
Before she had time to think about what she was doing, Izzy leapt forward, flying a few feet in the air before landing on the ground, her one arm outstretched. "Hah!" she yelled a little too loudly, completely forgetting about the librarian that would surely not hesitate to scold the Gryffindor for making too much noise. She sat up, staring at the newt that she now held in her hand. It was squirming to get free, but that was the last thing Izzy would let it do. She jumped up at that moment and began skipping back the way she had come, going past the two students who were now staring at her, around the corner and down a few more aisles.
"I got it!" she announced when she reached Brenton and Jeremy. Her lips were curled up into a wide grin as she looked at the Slytherin boy and held out the newt to him.
((Where'd Hannah go?))
