Henry nodded and took the lead up the stairs toward the floor above. They move up through the floors toward the seventh floor; Twice they had to duck behind suits of armor to avoid teachers patrolling the halls, and once Henry had to make a small pebble fly down a corridor and hit a suit of armor to grab to attention of a prefect who was determinedly prowling the corridor while they slipped past as his back was turned.
They turned into the seventh floor corridor containing the tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy's ill-fated attempts to teach trolls how to dance the ballet. Henry smiled back at Zee in a devilish sort of way, and moved forward; He walked past the wall three times; On the third pass, he turned to see a rather battered door had appeared in the wall opposite the tapestry. He opened the door, and gestured for Zee to enter.
They walked into a square room with stone walls and floor; A wrought iron chandelier with about a dozen candles hung from the ceiling in the middle of the room, and a large stone fireplace with a fire crackling merrily in it was set into the wall opposite the door. There was a wooden table with matching benches sitting in the middle of the room, their narrow ends facing the fireplace and the door. Along one wall ran a wooden counter with shelves full of butter-beer bottles; Henry supposed these had been placed here awhile ago because the room was incapable of replicating food. The wall opposite the counter had a pair of arched windows set into that looked out onto the darkened side of the castle. While the whole place had the feeling of being stolen from an old fashioned inn, it had a comfortable sort of feeling about it with a pleasant level of light that didn't overwhelm.
Henry walked in after Zee, tapping the side of his head with his wand, muttering "Finite." as he went. Instantly, the supersensory charm was neutralized, and his eyesight returned to normal.
"So what do you think?" asked Henry, locking the door behind him so that the door outside in the corridor didn't remain visible.
