As Drew attempted to bring Connor down, the Ravenclaw felt himself being pulled up. The Snake's fist made contact and Drew's head snapped back at the impact. Again, he made a grab for Connor, this time throwing an arm around his neck and aiming his own fist at the other boy. Drew wasn't usually one to just jump into fights at the drop of a hat, but he wasn't about to just sit around and get beaten up. Besides, the jackass of a Slytherin had it coming to him anyway.

A small, calm, even rational part of Connor told him to stop. The rational part of him said that it was stupid to fight someone, especially someone he had been trying to befriend... before the conversation turned, anyway. But as that part of Connor was currently rather small and tiny in the back of his brain, it took the backseat to the part of the Slytherin just wanting to kick his arse. His hand dropped back once it had made contact with the Ravenclaw's head, and he wasn't prepared for the fist that ended up hitting him in the jaw, causing Connor's lip ring to dig into his lip and gums, producing a small rush of blood in his mouth. That was twice he had ended up bleeding, and enough was enough.
Connor stumbled back, letting go of his hold on the Ravenclaw and coughing slightly, feeling the metallic tasting blood swish around in his mouth. " Damnit.. " He sputtered, not paying much attention to Drew anymore as he backed up against the other wall.

Drew backed off as soon as Connor let go of him and the Ravenclaw leaned against the opposite wall, wiping his own bloody face with the back of his hand. If the Slytherin had stopped using fists, Drew saw no reason he should continue. Though, just in case Connor had other things in mind, Drew kept one hand near his wand. He wasn't stupid.
He wasn't sure if it was his nose or his mouth that was bleeding at the moment, but both felt like they were about to swell up very shortly. Either way, he knew Felicity wasn't going to be very happy about it. He could only imagine what she'd say when he inevitably had to go to the Hospital Wing.
Still trying to figure out how bad his own face was, he glanced up at Connor who looked as messed up as he felt... maybe even more. Drew wasn't proud of it and actually felt a little guilty about the damage he had done. On the other hand, he was still pissed off and wasn't about to ask if the Slytherin was okay.

Connor was tempted to spit on the floor, but seeing as how that wasn't very sanitary and all, he didn't. In the few seconds following him backing off and leaning against the wall he only reached a hand up to his piercing and quickly unfasted the small lip ring, just to make sure it hadn't ripped his lip open when Drew's fist had made contact with it.
He lifted the collar of his shirt and wiped at his chin, as he could feel blood dripping down from his mouth and was sure he looked somewhat similar to a vampire at that moment. His lip was feeling a little puffy, his gums a little sore where the lip ring had jabbed into them, and his jaw was feeling rather achy. It was stupid, but Connor still felt a small bit proud of what he had done as he looked up at Drew and saw the damage done.
Drew was right... he was ignorant.
" Dude, I... " He spoke, looking down at the ground and he could feel any amount of his pride disappearing, being replaced with the question of ' what now? ' Talking was kind of hard for the Slytherin, but he managed to go on with minimal stuttering and mumbling, " Uh.. sorry. " Sorry... What a stupid thing to say. Connor thought to himself, not sure of what he should be saying to the guy he had just started a fight with.

Drew's look of concern immediately turned to a glare as soon as the Slytherin opened his mouth. Drew wasn't about to trust anything that Connor had to say right then and there. Even though the appology was unexpected, Drew still didn't believe it was sincere. There was no way Drew believed he could be sorry for the crap that had come out of his mouth and if he felt as angry as Drew did, Connor sure wasn't sorry for hitting him.
On the other hand, Drew couldn't just ignore the fact that the other boy spoke to him. Drew wasn't about to accept the apology and he sure as heck wasn't sorry for what he had said or done.
Okay, maybe he felt a little bad about the bloodly lip.
"You okay?" he asked, despite his vow to the contrary.

Sorry... He inwardly rolled his eyes at himself. He wasn't sorry, at least not right then, and he was sure that Drew knew it too. But then again, Connor was almost positive that the Ravenclaw wasn't sorry, so why should he be?
Connor was glad there wasn't a mirror around or anything, as he was certain he looked a mess, possibly worse than Drew looked at that moment. The Slytherin couldn't tell if it was the other guy's nose or lip that was bleeding, but it wasn't looking all that great. Connor leaned over slightly, his hands on his knees as he looked at the ground, trying to figure out what he should do.
His eyes looked up to Drew, sort of surprised like as he asked if he was okay. " No... " He trailed off, not bothering to ask if he was alright. He would live, as would Connor. " I'm leaving... " He said for the second time that night, although this time he had full intentions of actually leaving. Giving a light cough, Connor turned and rounded the corner, heading down to the dungeons to clean himself up a bit.

"Later," Drew answered, but his thoughts drifted more into the area of Good. His face was sore and he was more and more convinced that his nose was broken. As much as he hated the Hospital Wing, he feared he'd have to go in there to see for sure. Drew knew he could Episkey a finger and definitely his own toes, but he couldn't do his own face.
The worst part was Felicity was in there and she'd see him all messed up. He really didn't want her to know he had gotten into a fight... with Connor of all people.
The Slytherin headed down the hall and Drew let him go. He was still disgusted by the Snake's attitude, but would try to maybe, possibly talk to him later about it all. For the time being, though, Drew had bigger problems.
