"Great, your getting it faster than me!" She smiled brightly proud that her lessons seemed to be easily learned. "I fell at least ten times before I even got through the hoop. Haha, unfortunatly it was in front of my class they were laughing cause the second time I fell into the fountain."
"Well maybe I can have my cousin send a rope so we can do double dutch. That would be fun." Noelle thought of many games to play, it's been a while since she was on a playground, acting like a six year old. She though of tying both ropes to a pillar and/or getting someone to turn the ropes, then doing a trick or two with Felicity. The girl seemed to catch on fast and it would probably be faster if they could do it at the same time.

"The fountain?" she asked trying her best not to laugh too much about it. The thought of the other girl jump roping and then falling into a fountain was just too enjoyable a thought because of the image created in her mind. "That's kind of hard to manage, isn't it?"
All right, so she was laughing, but it was just so funny to think about. "Double Dutch? That would be fun," she smiled brightly. "I could probably get one of my cousins or one of my nieces to send me one too, that way we have an extra in case something happened to one of the rops." Knowing they weren't always the best, and sometimes easily were ruined, having an extra would be a good idea. "Maybe we could get some others to help us. That would be fun to do."
Finding the jump rope at the bottom of her trunk had indeed been a nice thing.

"It would have been hard to manage if I hadn't been jumping around I didn't notice where I was going. With all the kids cheering me on I stepped onto the fountain platform and showed bravery...and as you know foolishness...it was a good time though.." Noelle smiled she knew how funny it was, and liked to make people smile.
"An extra, cool. Well hopefully we don't break them. Maybe wear them out but not break them." Noelle liked jump roping and double dutch was a lot funner, with two people you could even start clapping together. "Yea I think like one or two more people would be cool, hopefully not someone that would trip us." Her smile was lop sided cause once again that happened to her also and that time she had a scar to show for it.

Another small laugh escaped, no it wasn't nice to laugh at someone, but she didn't seem to be minding that Felicity was asking about it, nor laughing the bit that she was. The poor girl must have been very brave, but very soaked as well. Shaking her head a little, she tried to force the image from her mind, hoping to focus more on something else, rather than the laughter filling her.
"I'm hoping we don't break one either, but you never know. And I don't know very many people who would trip us on purpose," she added, trying to think of anyone that would. Perhaps that one Slytherin she knew, but she hadn't seen him around in a long time, and wasn't sure if he'd been removed from the castle or otherwise. However, she hoped it wasn't that. "I'm sure we could scrounge up a few others, it can't be that hard, right?"
After all, it wasn't that uncommon for people to know how to jump rope, and it really was quite fun.

"Yes, I'm sure more people like to jump rope also, perhaps they can also teach us something new." Noelle felt like moving but instead fidgeted around with her hair, and thought about more people. "Do you have anyone particular in mind?" She didn't know who to invite, most people she met she didn't know all that well yet. Slightly smiling, Noelle asked "Maybe before they come, you can make up a trick. That's always fun."

"Not really anyone in particular, no," she said shaking her head. "I mean, we could probably invite the fifth year girls to join us, and see who actually does join. It would be fun, it'd definitely give us all a chance to hang out and get to know one another better."
And the more she thought about it, the more she liked the idea of it. It would involve doing something together, team work, was fun, and could turn out to be quite interesting. And with the trick, well that could be the deal. Whoever showed was to reveal a trick to the others. And even if not the whole lot of them, it could be fun to just invite a few and show eachother tricks, still.

"Yea, the other fifth year girls that would be fun and anyone else that would want to join." Noelle said as she began to think how much fun they would all have. "Well, do you think any guys would also want to jump rope?" It wasn't a silly question but most guys wouldn't participate in such a activity, unless they liked to.
"Hehe, I just hope I don't fall down again..." she laughed knowing that if she did get going and began to show off she would go to far. "Well, how long do you think it will take to find someone?" she didn't feel like walking around searching for willing girls, she hoped one would just walk by on their way to class or something.

[If you want me to delete this post, just PM me and I'll be fine about it ] It was a good thing thats the girl's didn't have to go looking for someone else. That someone was coming to them. Not on purpose of course, but by mere coincidence. It was indeed a sort of nice day, besides the wind, and thats why Matt had spent most of her day outside. Practicing wand work and charms, lying around doing nothing, going for walks now and then, it was all good nature. But thus, as the wind threaded itself throughout the grounds and places of Hogwarts, the Hufflepuff girl decided it would be best to bring herself inside. For a while, the girl had hung around the kitchens, grabbing herself a snack before making her way up to the Library for some reading. It was all part of her relaxing day. So as Matty made her way up the first set of stairs, and into the First Floor Corridor, some part of a conversation hit her ears. ' Well, how long do you think it will take to find someone?' rang out in the girl's mind as she proceeded to make her way along the corridor. A content smile was placed on the Fourth Years face as she reached to two girl's. One of their faces hit Matty like a old picture, however. It was Felicity, the girl who Matty had met at the station with Mike. One of which also ran the paper, and was a friend of Lucas. At lest Matty was sure it was her. "Hey, um, sorry to interrupt, but is your name Felicity?" the Hufflepuff asked the blond girl with a polite voice. Hopefully it was, because if Matty was mistaken, that would be quite embarrassing.

"I think there would be a few fair boys who would be willing to jump rope, yes," she smiled. And if not willing, well, she could try her best to get them to anyway. "I don't think you'd fall, you're really good at it and even if you did, well, I'm sure someone else would have a worse one, namely me," she giggled and pointed at herself. It wasn't that she'd do it on purpose, at least not unless it was necessary, but she's wasn't the most balanced person there was.
"I don't know," the blonde replied, shrugging her shoulders. Usually it seemed if one was looking for something or someone, that thing or person appeared from no where, and at that moment it seemed to happen again. Turning to smile at the girl who'd just arrived, hoping she'd understand by the smile that it was no interruption, the Gryffindor found herself nodding.
"Felicity, yes, that's right." The girl looked familiar, she knew she worked for the paper, but what was her name? And what made it worse was she also knew she'd met the girl before, but what was her name? The brown-eyed girl could remember it was a nice name, cute, but what was it? "And this is Noelle," she introduced the Ravenclaw. No need for one to know the name of one but not the other. Mmmmm....it was an M, but what was the rest of it?

Noelle watched as a girl came down the stairs and approched Felicity, Good, now we don't have to look.... Noelle had a small smile on her face that disappeared when she relized that the one jump rope would need to be bigger...I guess we could just use an 'engorgio' spell on it..good thing for magic..but who has there wands?
"Hello" she replied to Felicity's introduction. "Would you like to jump rope with us?" Though she didn't know the girl, they needed more people and she was glad to have anyone join in.

Matty smiled as the girl confirmed that she was Felicity. Good thing, now Matty wouldn't be embarrassed like there was no tomorrow. Turning to the other girl, the Hufflepuff introduced herself to Noelle. "Hi Noelle, I'm Matty." she said with that same, kind smile resting on her young face. As a question was proposed however, the Fourth year raised her eyebrows the slightest bit. "Jump rope? Sounds like fun, sure." the girl concluded with a grin, running one of her hands through her hair and stepping back a little. Keeping her hands in the back fo her pockets, the girl felt her wand, still safely tucked back into her pocket. [Sorry it's a crappy post and I haven't replied for so long, I've been a tad overwhelmed ]

Matty! At least it was easy to figure out her name, unlike with Seanna's. It'd taken weeks to find out what her name was, and then she only re-learned it because the girl had come up in conversation, not in a bad way at all, she'd just come up. But at least once more Felicity had been on the right track with the beginning of the name, now she'd just have to find a way of gluing it to her memory.
A large smile covered her lips when she agreed to jump rope, it really was fun. However, the same thought of the problematic rope ran through her mind as had Noelle's. But she wasn't about to offer to do anything with her wand, she wasn't one to mess around with a wand. They would definitely need back ups if that were to occur.
"Here," she offered, stepping out of the way. She'd give up the chance to rope and let Matty jump in. "You can have a go at it if you'd like. Noelle's just been teaching me some neat tricks, and I can practice without the rope."

"Nice to meet you Matty." Noelle said gladly. Most of her teeth showed when she smiled, boy was she glad she wouldn't have to walk around asking random people to jump rope. "Yeah," Noelle agreed with Felicity, "you can warm up, then we'll figure something out so we can all play."
Standing by the wall now, she thought of a new trick and unfortunately had no new rhymes, all out of ideas. The trick however was very basic and most likely easy to learn. "So what shall we do about the one small jump rope?" She looked to Felicity wondering if perhaps the girl had a different solution.

Matty grinned as Noelle agreed with Felicity. It was good to have something else fun to do, instead of just randomly walking around the corridors for the rest of the day... that or doing homework. "Alright." the girl said, thankfully taking the rope and placing it gently into each of her hands. As a little girl, Matty had often played jump-rope up until the age of 10, and lost interest in it ever since, but then again, new passions were always surfacing these days for the girl. "Here we go," The Fourth year said, swinging the a couple of times before starting off her rhyme.
"H. E. L. P. spells H. E. L. P. spells H. E-" the girl stalled on this letter, not of purpose of course. 'H. E. L. P' stood for help.. "This is an old rhyme I used to play with my friends. Once you stall on a letter, it stands for a command. H - High. E - Eggbeater. L - Low and P - Pepper. Eggbeater means I have to say the rhyme to go with it..." the girl said, catching her breath and stating off again. "Eggbeater, eggbeater turn around." and as the rhyme said, the girl managed to turning around in a circle while skipping the rope. "Eggbeater, eggbeater touch the ground." thus, Matty bent down low and neared the ground before the rope came back to skipping pace.
With that, Matty stopped the skipping of the rope, and caught her breath again. "It took me ages to get that right." she commented, blinking her green eyes slightly. "What about making it larger via magic?" the Hufflepuff threw in her own suggestion. It mightn't be the best idea, but Matty had her wand and it could be worth a try if the others needed some new idea's for this situation.
