"Wow, a real castle, my Mother and Father would probably love to get a look inside, there must be some really old pieces of artwork and such inside, isn't there?" Seanna asked, when you've been around parent's like Seanna's; it was hard not ask these questions, she liked looking at the old artworks as much as her Mother and Father did.

"Yeah, a few pieces I guess," Drew answered. The castle had been in the Thornton family almost as long as the family had lived in California, which was only about 150 years. Hardly enough to get anything decent in it. "Granddad has more quidditch and cowboy stuff than anything else."

"So, your Granddad was sort of like a cowboy then?" Seanna asked, trying to understand what Drew's Granddad did, "Or did he play on a quidditch team?" If he played on a quidditch team, that meant there was a chance there would probably be some sports memorabilia in the castle.

"Cowboy? No... but I think my great-granddad was," Drew told her. "And quidditch? Yeah. He and my grandmum didn't play professional or anything, but my family has always been big into the sport."

"Wow, your granddad's castle sounds really fascinating, though, I'm not a big fan of quidditch, I know enough to play a game, though" Seanna told him, quidditch was never a big thing in her family, her parents had always encouraged her to read books and when they went to pick up artwork, they encouraged her to find out about the piece of artwork.

"Really?" Drew answered casually, filing the information away to be exploited at a later date, probably during a game. He gave a shrug as if it weren't important. "Yeah, my cousin plays professional. It's really a big deal in my family."
Sometimes, TOO big...

"Your cousin plays professional quidditch?, what team does he or her play for?" Seanna asked, out of curiosity more than wanting to know herself.

"Los Angeles," Drew answered with a small shrug. It was a huge deal back home, but he knew that American quidditch didn't hold the same respect on this side of the pond as the European teams did. "He's a chaser."

"I've never actually heard of the Los Angeles Quidditch team, to tell you the truth" Seanna answered truthfully, that was Seanna's quidditch knowledge for you, which really, wasn't much at all.
"So...there must've been quite a few passage's in your granddad's home then" Seanna asked Drew, trying not to get too side tracked for the information that she really wanted.

"A few," Drew answered. "Not as many as there are here though. Of course, this place is much bigger than his, so it's only logical." He had no problem talking about secret passages. they had very little to do with what he had really been doing.

"With these passage's, there must be some kind of way to find one, I mean, you know, when you look at a wall and realize there's something not quite right about that wall, or you pull a book out and, presto!, a secret passage is revealed" Seanna was going on a hunch, because a hunch was all she had, she knew Drew had to either be looking for something, for he had stared quite a while at the wall.

"If there was a way to figure it out that easily, it wouldn't be much of a secret passage now, would it?" Drew told her. "Reality is you'd have to know the right spells and stuff to find one."

"Spells and stuff?" Seanna questioned, she thought all you have to do to find a secret passage was what she said before, now Drew was saying that you had to use spells to find the passage's. "What kind of spells and stuff do you have to use to find these passage's?"

"Yeah.. what did you think?" Drew asked curiously. "That you could just look at it and tell where it was? Scan a bunch of books and automatically know which on e was the lever? What good would that kind of secret passage be? It only works like that in the muggle movies. It's got to be hidden really well to fool anyone, right?"
