Elizabeth thought to herself, but couldn't quite decide whether she was going to believe the men or not. Sure, they all seemed familiar enough but there was something wrong. If they were all royalty, statesmen, or whatever, why weren't they dressed properly.
"What is wrong with your clothing, Mr. Prime Minister?" It then clicked in a sudden rush of panic that the men must have been lying! None of them were in formal royal robes, and though her dress seemed a bit off as well, she was still more dressed up than any of them in their green robes, and the black robes her so-called advisor wore.
Taking off on a mad dash, the queen of England started to run away quickly from the men. Alfonz reached out, but this time missed his mother's arm just barely, tripping over his own feet and landing face down on the ground. His hand slapping into a sharp rock as he did so. Alfonz gritted his teeth as the pain from the rock shot up his arm, but he made no sounds. He pushed himself up.
"We have to get her before she hurts herself!" he said roughly and through his jaw. He held his bleeding hand to his side to hide it from the healers, for he didn't want any attention drawn away from his deranged mother. "Or before someone finds her that shouldn't!" Alfonz took off after his mother, hoping that they'd catch up with her before someone else did.

Kellen gave a quick glance back at Healer Gaunt, an almost helpless I've got to do this, look, before he took off running, once again, after Elizabeth Jedynak. Ideally, this would be the last time. Healer Gaunt focused his energies elsewhere; there were still dazed and injured people around, and while the Healers weren't really supposed to do field work, they all knew how to keep their heads and heal what the could outside the setting of the hospital. Safe transport stretchers were also brought in for apparation.
But Kellen couldn't worry about that at the moment. What he could worry about was catching up to Healer Jedynak and, with the help of her son, getting her back to the hospital safely. Doing that, however, might need to include the use of magic.
He'd just caught up to her and grabbed her arm when an idea struck him. He didn't like the situation he was in--he didn't want to risk a spell going wrong and he didn't like manhandling anyone, let alone a superior from the hospital, but he didn't know of another option at the moment. As she struggled to break free of his grip, he quickly waved his wand and exclaimed "Reversaro Incantatum!"
Please work, he prayed inside his head. Please, please work.

Ahead of him, Alfonz saw what happened without really wanting to.
Healer McCrea grabbed onto his mother's arm and as she did so she struggled to be let free. "Let go!" she cried, and as he did so he pulled his wand. He wouldn't! Alfonz scowled to himself as he caught up to the man just as the spell was set free at his mother. "Elizabeth!" Alfonz called out, knowing that she probably wouldn't respond to the call of 'mother' or 'Healer Jedynak'. Alfonz's run stopped just for the briefest of moments by the young Healer as he watched the next events in horror.
Because of the man's calls, Elizabeth Jedynak turned around and took the spell to the chest, falling backwards as she did so. Landing with her back on the ground, her body bounced twice before finally coming to a dead stop. "You best hope she's not hurt..." Alfonz growled at McCrea as he started to run to his mother's side.
Alfonz knew not to touch a hurt individual, but as she lay there beside where he now knelt, Alfonz took her hand. "Mother? Elizabeth?" he cooed to her, his husky voice softer than what normally anyone would have heard it. Elizabeth's eyes fluttered just barely with the call and she moaned...."Al...Alfonz?" she called out, barely opening her eyes.
She laughed a little...."You were late, son..."

All the air Kellen didn't realize he was holding in his lungs came out all at once when he realized Healer Jedynak was, more or less, back to normal and that his whim medical decision had not only not hurt her, but had actually worked. He gave mother and son a moment before, almost timidly, breaking in to their conversation.
"We should be getting you back to St. Mungo's, Healer Jedynak," he said. The scene seemed to be mostly cleared, and though he was due for a reaming out when he got back, it definitely seemed like the smartest thing to do. "You can side-along with one of us, if you don't feel up to apparating yourself..."

Elizabeth leaned on Alfonz, trying to help herself get up without as much of her son's help as possible. She wasn't weak, and though she had no idea how she had landed on the ground to begin with, she wasn't about to be seen as anything but the strong woman she was....or at least tried to be.
Alfonz put his hand on her back and gently took her arm and placed it around himself. She hesitated but after a few moments, Elizabeth realized that she really wasn't feeling as swell as she wished she was. Leaning into her child again, she closed her eyes tightly, trying to hold the pain back in her leg that she could now feel. "Alfonz, gently now. You don't want to kill me now, do you," a sly smirk came across the woman's face as Alfonz lifted her up, noticing that she was applying no pressure to her left leg.
"Are you alright?" he asked, only for her to shake her head, brushing off the question in general.
We should be getting you back to St. Mungo's, Healer Jedynak...You can side-along with one of us, if you don't feel up to apparating yourself...
"Ah, Alfonz..." Elizabeth gasped slightly and smiled warmly at the young healer-in-training. "I see you've met our Young McCrea, one of the finest trainees we have." Again she gasped slightly, finding that it was probably her ankle that was a tad bit worse for wear. It would be no problem to fix, though apperating as McCrea had suggest, would indeed be better with another.
"Alfonz, I'm sure you can help me back to Mungo's, however...I think there are others that may need my attention first. Was there anyone caught in turmoil?" she directed her question at McCrea and Alfonz just shook his head. "Absolutely not you're hu...." Elizabeth put her hand up to cover her son's mouth.
She was fine...but what about everyone else?

"Healer Gaunt arrived with several others; they're taking care of the scene," Kellen explained, pointing to the other green-robed people about. "It didn't look like anyone was seriously injured or spelled, though, so I think we'll be all right. The others we were with apparated right back to the hospital, too, so they're fine." He glanced furtively around, and couldn't manage to escape the look he was getting from Gaunt.
"Speaking of which, the other healers would never forgive me if I didn't get an injured you back to the hospital. Look around; they've got it well in hand here. Ready?"

Elizabeth nodded as well as did Alfonz. He'd be the one apperating her back, but he didn't mind the kid wanting to get away from his boss. "I'll deal with Gaunt," Elizabeth said to McCrea and Alfonz just rose an eyebrow. Why was she so damn helpful and nice to everyone? Alfonz didn't say anything, knowing that his mother would scold him and she wasn't in the best of conditions for that. "Alright then, let's get back to the hospital," Alfonz stated holding his mother closer.
"Ready?" Alfonz asked her, looking down at her face and smiling lightly. "Always," she said and with that he held her tight and apperated back to the hospital.

Kellen was close behind the apparating mother and son, very ready and willing to be out of Knockturn Alley. There would be plenty to deal with at St. Mungo's, of course, but nothing too out of his depth. Besides, no one at the scene seemed too hurt; at least, no one left there. There would be emergency injuries to deal with and, of course, reprimands to suffer through. Still, it would be better than where he was. He apparated with a loud crack.
