Kellen nodded. The paperwork had arrived sometime when he was preparing the salve, all ready to be filled out. "Annoying, I know, but necessary." He retrieved the papers and a quill.
"Though, which hand do you write with? It's better if you don't move your injured arm too much while you're still recovering. If you need me too, I can write the information for you," he offered. It was a rather slow moment in their section, and it was in the best interest of the patient, after all.

"Annoying indeed," she agreed. Now not only did she have to probably do paperwork when she returned to the Ministry, she had to fill some out while at the hospital. "Actually this hand," Liza answered, burned hand lifted up in the air slightly. But when the young man offered to fill it out, she felt lighthearted, slightly. "Sounds good to me."
Smiling gently, glad not to be grimacing about the pain at the moment, she nodded her agreement to allow him to fill it out as she told him.
"That would be appreciated, highly." It was a more appropriate response, besides, it was kinder. "If you wouldn't mind that is."

"Not at all. I wouldn't have offered otherwise," Kellen insisted. "Okay, a couple of reminders, though. Please be honest about your medical history--you've got Healer-Patient privilege here, so nothing said in the hospital will get out of the hospital, you don't have to worry about that."
He began to take down the basic information he asked; full name, address, previous medical records, circumstances of the injury, and so on.

Nodding that she indeed understood the point of filling out paperwork, including everything had to be honest, otherwise she would not receive the probable correct results. After all, just how one could truly lie was beyond her when it came to such important documents. The whole idea of giving one's life away on paper could be the kicker, though she believed telling one's history for such purposes was likely the best route in any situation.
Her answers concluded correctly, as far as she knew. Elizabeth A. Reese; Wendelring Apartment 102; no allergies and nothing critical in her medical history she was aware of, as far as she was aware everyone in her family was perfectly healthy and had been for long. No running diseases she could think of, etc.
It was odd extended all this information to another she realized as she continued telling the young man about herself. Perhaps this was why many did not care to tell others.
"And now that I have answered a number of your questions," she smiled graciously. "I believe I might perhaps be able to obtain your own name? After all, it is only right for me to have the name of my healer, is it not?"
McCrea she thought was what the healers had called him, but she could be mistaken.

Kellen let out a small, involuntary laugh. He hadn't even realized, but in all the time he'd been working with Ms. Elizabeth Reese, he'd never actually formally introduced himself. Well, of all the things to forget it was a rather minor one, but how absolutely silly of him. It was one of their first instructions; everything to do with bedside manner. If your patient knows your name, your patient will be more comfortable. That was the rule, and somehow he'd managed to forget it.
"I can't believe I forgot to introduce myself!" he said in a light, self-deprecating manner. "Healer McCrea. Well, technically, Healer-In-Training McCrea, but that gets a little long and awkward," he explained. "Less technically and more informally, Kellen McCrea. Though really, we're supposed to go by our titles here and not our first names. I don't think they'll mind too much, though."

It has not bothered the German woman, and had it of, she would have questioned the matter sooner. From what she understood, though she did not spend any amount inside caring facilities often, it was standard procedure for the healer to introduce themselves, merely for manners. That and so the patient would know who to blame if something went wrong.
And in a moment the man spoke, he gave her a number of options to call him by. All of which lead to the same thing, McCrea was indeed his name and not some other person the other healer could have been speaking too or with. And it was also good to note she had not taken to hallucinating, but she did laugh lightly along with her healer.
"So it would be Healer-in-Training Kellen McCrea?" she asked with another hint of laughter. "Long and awkward indeed. I would think some just may be intimidated by such a title, while others would not know exactly what to say back." Actually, the title with his name almost rhymed. Almost.
"Well, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, though I am sure it would have been better under different circumstances."

"Well, believe me, I've met patients under worse circumstances than this. You're rather on the luckier end," Kellen joked lightly. "But it turns out, we might meet each other again anyway. I've just moved into Wendelring myself, so maybe I'll see you around there."
He moved to her other side so as to better assess her arm. "How's the burn feeling? Do you feel any pain with it, or is it mostly cool and tingly?"

It was good to know she was not as bad off as she felt. Though, she was feeling better with the salve on. And what other circumstances could they have met? With a good amount of her time being spent with Nick, trying to get to know him better, and with work and the extra paperwork she always managed to end up with, Elizabeth did not have very much time on her hands, though she did not mind. However, the woman had an inkling her crup minded.
"Perhaps," she smiled gently. Though, she made note, she had only met a couple of her "neighbors". And even then, she had not spoken to any of them in months. Preoccupied and overly-occupied, but still, she did not mind.
"It still feels cool, not so much tingly," was her answer. Figuring that was good, she wondered if she would be released now that the paperwork was out of the way and she was healing.

Kellen nodded. "Good. That's good. Well, there's not much left to do now but wait," he said, moving away from her injured arm and attaching the papers to a clipboard at the base of her patient bed. "You don't have to stay in this very spot, but don't leave the hospital yet. Is there anything I can get you? Or anyone you'd like us to contact about your current location?"
He went through his mental checklist of Things To Ask Patients, and he was pretty sure he'd gotten them all covered.
[Should we wrap this up soon? I think, realistically, these two are running out of things to talk about.]

((Perhaps))
"Wait?" she asked. She couldn not just up and leave? Though it would keep her from work a bit longer, it just meant more time for her to be served paperwork to do for missing out on so much time at the Ministry, and if she could not fill it out very well with her arm--or was slow--it meant she would have more to take home with her. What about stopping in to see Nick for a few minutes that night before she returned to her apartment? That visit would have to be even shorter because she would need to start on the paperwork right away to get through it.
Maybe Nick would also be busy.
"About how long do I have to wait?"
