"Hmm," Daniel pondered, "Fun..." He thought about it for a while. His idea of fun was usually something dangerous, something that made the adrenaline start pumping like jumping off the roof of something, or sneaking around in a place that was strictly forbidden. He doubted very highly that anyone else was such an adrenaline freak like he was, but Daniel figured he could try his luck with Natasha.
"My idea of fun is something dangerous, usually," Daniel said, repeating his thoughts and smiling mischievously, "Something that will most likely get me in trouble. If I get caught, that is."

Natasha's grin grew as he spoke, her unusual eyes sparkling. That was pretty much exactly the answer she was looking for. She'd had her share of sneaking around on the ground past dark, and venturing off into the Forbidden Forest. Heck, she even swam in the lake a few times. Of course, she didn't have anyone to share that with... or even talk about it. Because if she did, she'd have to bring up the part where she couldn't go outside without freezing to death, and how she got her foot caught in a bunch of underwater plants when she went swimming in the lake. She was the definition of pathetic then, but luckily untangled herself before drowning...
She focused back on the present. "I guess you're gonna have to prove that then." She said smuggly. She had no doubt that he'd had his share of adventures, but she would have to see it to believe it.

Noticing the grin, Daniel figured he'd said something right in his response. Her eyes had lit up as well and Daniel smiled proudly, glad he'd answered the way she wanted. He wasn't just saying it to please her, it had been true, but now that he knew it was a good thing it made him even more excited about getting to know Natasha. She seemed pretty cool.
"Prove it?" Daniel questioned, raising a curious eyebrow, "Well, let's see...I've run full force into a wall before, but that's not very extreme, just kinda stupid. Jumping off the roof of a house into a pool is pretty cool as well. Ever tried it?"
(I g2g for a bit, but I'll be back as soon as I can xD)

(right on! ^_^)
Natasha laughed lightly. Yes, running into walls is just on the verge of being stupid. She held her smile, "No, I've never tried that." She said, hoping that she would never have to do that. She didn't want to get hurt over jumping into a pool. "But those things don't sound like you'd get into much trouble." She said, tapping the side of her face now. She hoped she wasn't blabbing. "Besides, that's not proving it, that's just story telling." She said, her hair falling infront of her face. She pushed it back behind her ear and studied him, wondering what he would say to that.

"You get in trouble when it isn't your house or your pool, but a stranger down the street's house," the Slytherin boy shot back with a grin. He raised an eyebrow, as if to say he was accepting her challenge of "proving" it. He knew this might be a bad idea, and for sure if it was something that would hurt him, his secret would be out. Still, the idea of doing something dangerous was exciting and the adrenaline was already starting to pump.
"How exactly would you like me to 'prove' it?" Daniel questioned in a challenging tone.

Natasha smirked, as all kinds of answers poured into her mind. She was still pretty new to this getting to know others thing, but this wasn't on her agenda. Besides, two could play at this game. "You've been through the Forbidden Forest after dark I'm assuming." She said, a bit of sarcasm in her voice. She leaned closer as if to tell a secret, "Tomorrow there's a full moon out, bet there'll be plenty of 'friends' you could meet." She said in a hushed whisper, as a proud smirk playing across her lips.
"Unless of course you wouldn't want to go..." She said, in an equally, if not more challenging tone of voice. She put her hands behind her now, resting on them. She raised an eyebrow at him and waited for an answer.

"That's your big plan?" Daniel asked, his tone sarcastic, but also playful, like he was trying to egg her on more, "Going into a forest? What exactly is in there?" Of course Daniel had heard about the Forest, but he hadn't had a chance to break that rule just yet, he'd been too busy sliding down railings and smashing his face in. That hadn't been fun, but luckily he'd kept his secret then.
An idea popping into his head, Daniel raised an eyebrow again and surveyed Natasha. "Say I was to consent to this," he mused, "Would you be accompanying me on said trip?"

Talia kept the grin steady, "I see... you havn't been in it then." She said, knowing anyone who had would've reacted in a different way. "It's called the Forbidden Forest for a reason." She said, not so much trying to scare him, but just going along with it. She hadn't smiled nor talked to anyone for such a long time, this was a great refresher.
She hadn't been in the Forest for a while now anyways. She wanted to see if it had changed any... Last time she went was just to climb the biggest tree and watch the night sky. She didn't expect anything to happen, and her assumption was right. The Forest wasn't that scary... hopefully that wouldn't change.
She eyed him and smirked, "Come now Daniel... If I didn't go with you, how am I supposed to know if you even went on... said trip?" She said, half mimicking him.

"Haven't had a chance to break that particular rule, but I was getting to it," Daniel retorted in response to Natasha pointing out that he hadn't actually been in the Forest yet. All in good time.
"So we're mocking now, are we?" Daniel replied, glaring slightly, but in a joking manner so Natasha knew he wasn't being serious, "Alright then, tough guy. It's a date. Tomorrow night at the Forest." Daniel kept his voice low so the others would hear what they were saying. He figured that a place that was actually named the Forbidden Forest would get them in trouble if they got caught.

Natasha let out a small "Pfft," combined with a, "suuure you were getting to it." She said, smiling sweetly now, wondering if it could confuse him at all.
Nat nodded at the mocking comment and grinned, "Fine, it's a date." She said, keeping her voice low too. Who knew what kind of rumors could arise from such a comment... People these days had nothing better to do than gossip. She smirked again, "Bet you can't stay in there past 1." She said, thinking she might as well make it interesting.
She smiled, remembering how he said he liked doing things that would get you in trouble if you got caught... She was glad she found something that fit his description. She just hoped that the worst that could happen, was getting caught.

"Always with the mocking..." Daniel said, sighing slightly and shaking his head, but it snapped back at Natasha prediction, "Past 1? Ooooh you are sadly mistaken, my friend." Daniel chuckled to himself, finding it quite amusing that he was now being challenged to stay in a forest for a set amount of time. How bad could this place really be? They wouldn't really have terrible monsters in there if it was so close to a school. Right?
Now he was second guessing things. There was no way Daniel was going to back out, but now he'd started to think perhaps it wasn't such a brilliant idea. As long as he was with someone, he should be fine, but if Natasha was to ditch him...things could get bad. "You're not gonna ditch me in there, are you?" Daniel asked suddenly, almost interrogation-like.

Nat shrugged. Mocking was so terribly fun, she couldn't help herself. She eyed him, "Mistaken about what? How you can't last past one?" She said, putting words in his mouth. She had a hunch he wouldn't back down from her challenge, but the school was protected with magic for more than just one reason. Apparently he didn't know that... Or maybe he did and just wasn't saying it.
She grinned at his next question, knowing it was a smart one to ask. Slytherins were known for not being very loyal or trusting. She begged to differ. "Why, are you afraid? Cuz if you are, I guess I could promise that I won't ditch you." She said in a teasing voice, hoping he wouldn't take offence to it. She had no intention of just bailing out on him if there was a bad situation... She wasn't like that.

"I'll last a lot longer than you think," Daniel replied, somewhat coldly, although he hadn't meant for it to sound that way. He tried to flash her an apologetic smile. Apologizing had never really been Daniel's strong point, and for some reason always found it incredibly difficult to do so.
"I'm not afraid!" he exclaimed defiantly, "I just don't want to be ditched without warning. If you feel the need to run, you may do so. Just give me a warning in advance." Daniel said in a condescending tone, dishing out the attitude that he was getting from her. He figured it was all in good fun, and he didn't really mean to be a jerk. He was just playing along with it.

Natasha eyed him for a while, to be sure she hadn't hit a nerve. His smile said that he didn't take it to heart and she smiled back in relief. The last thing she wanted to do was peeve off someone she had just met, and was going on a rendevue with. She was definetly the type of person to hit nerves though, even when she didn't mean to.
"You say you're not afraid now, but we'll see how you feel when you're there." She said, smirking. She changed her attitude slightly, and grinned, "I promise I won't ditch you, just please don't bite my head off." She said, ending it was a smile. She wouldn't ditch him... how would she know if he'd actually stayed in the forest that long if she wasn't there to make sure he did... She was going to have to be there.

"Somehow I think you should be worried about other things biting your head off. Me, not so much..." Daniel replied, drifting off slightly. He averted his eyes, having caught sight of a shadow on the wall. At first, it looked like the shape of something, a person. But then it became a black blob again and Daniel's eyes drifted off again, shaking his head slightly.
"What time are we meeting? Should it be here in the Common Room or down at the Forest?" he asked, his voice low.
