yeah, but Tee, you guys get Summertime Christmases. I would LOVE to have that much time off at Christmas. That's quite a good point. Five weeks is pretty awesome. How long do you guys have off then?

Depends on what grade of school you're in. Kindergarden-12th: About 1-2 weeks. Collage: About one month. I'm currently in collage so I get the LOVELY month off during Christmas.

my school gets off three weeks at Christmas, but we get out for summer a week later than everyone else. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) White Christmases are over rated. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) But don't get me started on that.

Mm. We get a little over five weeks, depending on the staff development days... What I find annoying at this present time, is the fact that my brothers go to uni for 26 weeks a year. *harrumphs* ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

We get two and a half for Spring, two and a half for winter, two and a half for Autumn, and five for summer. I always thought that we got Easter holidays, not Autumn holidays, but this year Easter was two weeks before we broke up. So we get twelve and a half, and you guys get thirteen and a half. One week more x) Lucky duckies ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

I'm just happy about collage breaks. 5 weeks at Christmas, 12 weeks at summer, and a few here and there for other various reasons. Very fun ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) But I get bored SO easy. I started my new job today and it is very fun and I'm more active. I have to work in the sun. All day. Killing meself.

Autumn Holidays... that sounds so funny, because we only get a Spring/Easter break. Well, I guess Thanksgiving counts as our Autumn Holidays.

As stupid as this sounds, and I know that it sounds stupid because my brother told me so ; I used to get mixed up as to when American's celebrated their christmas... I always thought that they had it in July, 'coz that was when their summer was, and 'Christmas In July' definitely didn't help. *reminisces* Ah, the good ol' days! ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

No freezing my fingers off while hanging christmas lights outside, no seeing breath while caroling. No shoveling snow before opening presents. Granted no white christmas but still.

That just sounds so funny, you assuming our Christmas is summery when I know most people here probably have to think twice before realizing your Christmases aren't cold. I still don't get the big whoop about a White Christmas. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

I still don't get the big whoop about a White Christmas. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) Tradition, tradition, tradition. That's what it boils down to in my book anyway. A fresh foot of snow on the ground for Christmas just completes the atmosphere. That and the fact that the fake snow covering the tree actually matches what it looks like outside for once ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) .

that's really all it's got to be because, along with my friends south of the equator, my Christmas traditions have never included snow. I don't miss it and I really don't want it Fake snow on the tree. People over hear laugh at that
