Add the fact that it keeps raining a bit in the late afternoon, so it's humid all morning and they only have swamp coolers at work...which don't work well in the humidity....or around machines that put off 300 degree heat....>.>

Sounds yucky. It was actually on the cool (yet muggy) side here today.
I'm bored. ^_^

That bites! I finished my book yesterday and now I don't have anything that seems interesting to read. Plus, I'm at a hotel, so my resources are limited. I want a real good adventure novel right about now. A serious one, not a comedy.

Ahh I found it. And that's no good... Usually when I find myself lacking reading material I'll raid a friend's bookshelves or something =P

yeah, about 105 here. 40 is really cold for California, but I think everyone else wears shorts at that temp. it's about 5 for you

Shorts at 40? Only when I'm feeling exceptionally summery in the fall. I wore shorts in the middle of winter once...but only once (and I'm in Minnesota).

At 40, we native Californians pull out our heavy parkas, wear two wool sweaters, and roll our eyes at anyone not doing the same. They are obviously out of staters

I used to be like that. Then we move to Northwestern PA and I got to discover what cold actually felt like. =P
