okay, so we all enjoy the fantasy genre, yes? So is anyone else here as big a loser/fan of Philip Pullman as I am? And on that note, does anyone know anything (kinda desperate to know) anything about the next film of the series His Dark Materials? IF YOU ARE AS ZANY ABOUT THIS AS I AM: Anyone know who is cast as Will Parry? All right, I'll bugger off! GO LIONS! CJ/Jack

I wish I could help you out Chris, but I know nothing about Philip Pullman/His Dark Materials. I tried IMDb, but I couldn't find anything. Sorry. And Sophia - not gonna lie. I lol'd at your response to age for the Cadlys Glasllyn sign-ups. And then I started singing.

I actually sang that song one year. My theatre camp did a production called "Broadway Medley" or something like that and we did a crapload of numbers from all different musicals. It was fun. And also my first stage kiss. Good times.
So are those the final numbers for the house points, or do we still have to wait for the Quidditch matches and classes? Wouldn't that be awesome if we made the ultimate comeback and ended up taking the House Cup?

I was singing too The teachers haven't posted points for this round of classes yet. Don't get too excited though. The only two that actually put up classes are the Huffle HoH and the Ravenclaw HoH

Yeah, you're probably right. Chris and I try our best, though. I think we're the two most active first years. Actually, we're two of the only first years.

haha yeah we showed them didn't we, Izzy :-P
So the new points are up now. My biggest question is: How did Hufflepuff manage to lose so many points? (Sorry I have a particular badger in mind, as of late. <3!)
I used to do Broadway ish stuff when I acted! Loved singing Sound of Music numbers (even though they're not exactly written with baritones in mind!) But my greatest achievement was snatching the role of Will Parker in "Oklahoma!" and my goodness that was one HELL of a role. :-D

I'm sure the Huffles will hear why ... My inside sources tell me that Gryffindors made a brilliant showing in the classes that were posted and thus got a buttload of points. ;D Way to go Lions When I was in high school, the girl I used to ride to school with used to play the Sound of Music soundtrack all the time (I still don't know why. She wasn't into the drama scene). I got hooked
