"You did!" Drew answered for her, grinning at the idea. It just sounded so sneaky. "Allegra talks about how she wished she had done that, but she would never have the guts to actually follow through with it."
For one thing, she would have never gotten away with it (and he knew he wouldn't be able to next year either). There would be hell to pay at home if they tried a stunt like that.

Brittany's head jerked up suddenly. She squinted her eyes and shook her head. There was no way Allegra, the one that was always thrilled by classes and books, would ever even think of doing something like that.
"Well, I knew I wouldn't exactly get in trouble. But...did you just say. No, no way! Allegra? She wanted to do that?" Brittany was stunned at this and knew that couldn't possibly be right.

"Talk's cheap," Drew answered with a shrug. "Besides, my parents would have killed her... like she could get away with a failing grade after acing everything in her entire life. Besides, I don't think she'd even know how to fail a test."
In all honesty, he doubted he'd be able to do it on purpose either.

Brittany shurgged. She guessed it would be kind of hard if you had been perfect your whole entire life. For her it had been easy.
"Well it's not that hard trust me. Especially if you are in the right mood and it just so happened that I was in the greatest mood to fail it." She said in a flat sarcastic tone.

"Well, doing the actual failing would be easy enough I guess," Drew answered, thinking about it more. "It's the getting away with it part that would be hard for me."
Allegra on the other hand would probably self-combust if she purposely tried to fail a test.
