With that period of combined lessons between the first and second years, which had been unplanned for, his whole end of term plans were shot. But no matter, it was best to see what they'd learned, or remembered.
Thus the final lesson of the year would be a recap before exams. The tables were bare, the only plants int he greenhouse were those that had been lining the edges since the beginning of the year. There appeared, to be no topic. Just as there appeared to be no Professor. However the door to Greenhouse Four was once again ajar and welcoming.

Samuel was wide and awake and excited for today's class. Some how, Samuel grown an interest in Herbology. After reading a dozen books about it, he began to love it. Before, Samuel used to think that Herbology was nothing but a joke but now he loves it.
Samuel just walked in and waited for instructions. He forgot if he was suppose to sit down or what. But all he did was wait for the next student to come in and see what he or she does. Samuel put his back down and his shoulder was begining to ache from carrying it all the way from the tower to the grounds.

Koren walked into the room lugging her school bag in her hand. She waved at the other student there, acknowledging him, but no more. Then she sat down somewhere in the middle of the class, and plopped her bag on the desk. She let out a tiny sigh, and then wiped her forehead with a handkerchief from the pocket of her robes. Replacing it she looked around the room to find no teacher and on ly the kid there. Recognize his face, but don't know his name.
"Koren Hurst," she said to the boy. "Do you know where the professor went?" She was being as polite as she could for that is what a lady did.

Niyah walked into the room with a little less energy than she normally had. The day started out okay until her sister had given her a stern "talking to" after breakfast. That put a damper on the rest of the day for Niyah and now that she was in Herbology her energu had returned, but only a little. "Hi," she said waving her hands to both Samuel and Koren who were already there. She sat down to the side of Koren though in the front row. So basically all the way to the right in the front of the class. She noticed there was no teacher but didn't comment on it. As she sat she put her head on her desk and just thought about the lesson. Perhaps they would get to play in the dirt that day.

Abigail entered Greenhouse Four with a light push on the glass door, her bag slung over her shoulder and a quill hastily stuck in her ponytail. She had been running around the common room only five minutes prior trying to collect her Herbology things for they layed all across the room. She found her book at one of the tables, parchment up in the dorm room, quill under her bed, and dragon-hide gloves on the fireplace mantle.
She noticed a fellow Hufflepuff first year sitting at the front of the classroom and though she talked to her in the dorms occassionally, never sat next to her in class. Walking towards the front of the room, she stood before the desk next to the Huffle. "Hi Niyah," she said softly. "Mind if I sit here?"

Samuel, Abby, Niyah...and...Slyhterin girl? Hers was the only name she couldn't remember still and that irked her. She was about forty five seconds behind Abby's entrance and instead of sitting with her, as she seemed to be talk to Niyah, went and took a seat near the Ravenclaw aquaintance.
She saw no Professor, not a topic, wich made her wonder if they were in the right greenhouse, her eyes breifly scanned the room searching for a topic, any sign there was even a lesson, she found none. Weird.

"Nope, not at all," she said keeping her head on her desk. "So where ya' think the teacher went?" Niyah asked. She still wasn't up to her usual spirits, but as more and more people walked into the class she began to cheer up enough to want to talk. Though she still had a ways to go before she spouting out random things and giggling like a hyena.

Abby sat down and dropped her bag on the desk, shrugging in response to Niyah's question. "Dunno. Sometimes the professors don't get here until all the students arrive, though." She looked at the bare tables and glanced around at the other students who had arrived. Sending a small smile in Lianna's direction as a hello, Abigail returned her attention to the first year beside her. "I just hope we're not doing wand woods again. It seems like we've been doing those all year." Abby tried to stress the annoyance that came with the boring less in her voice.

Lianna caught the smiley at the last moment and waved at her Huffle friend before loking back to where the Professor should have been. She had thought maybe he'd have entered durring the long period in which she hadn't rightly been focusing on, well, anything except the floor.

"Quiet down, quiet down! lets get this started, shall we?" Robet chimed out as he entered the room. "Seeing as that session of double year lessons has thrown us off, to finish out the year...todays lesson will be a recap on what we have discussed throughout the year."
His eyes wandered among the first years clearly annoyed faces, or at least some of them, others were probably happy to have an easy lesson. "Starting with the most recent and working out way backward. Wand woods, the eight types, Miss Bennett, can you refresh our memories please?"

Did teachers have a sixth sense or something? He must've heard Abby's last comment. Surpressing a groan, the first year sat up straight in her seat and answered, "Mahogany, Oak, Rosewood, Maple, Yew, Cherry...and..er, Willow and Holly," she finished the last two slowly having forgotten them for a second. Scribbling the wood types down on her paper just so she had them all collectively in one spot, Abigail looked up at Shaw for confirmation (hoping this might win her some house points).
I guess you can't always get what you wish for, the Huffle thought sadly.

Lianna'd known the answer, rather, answers, as well, but since it had been directed at her friend she went and remained silent as Abby rattled off the answers. It was going to be another boring lesson, and she knew it, and she also knew that no matter how much she wanted to, sleep was not an option, and neither, was faking paying attention. Her eyes went to the Professor as well, waiting for the next question. Seeing as the Ravenclaw boy had made no comment toward her or her initial greeting, there wasn't much else for her to focus on anyways.
