Jack got up from where he had been sitting on the grass outside of the enclosure, when the Professor had motioned that they could enter the pen where the unicorn was running around. He smiled when Professor Davenport said that he was correct about how old the unicorn must be, but it immediately vanished when he had heard that the unicorn had been orphaned by a fire. He felt bad for the little thing, but it looked like it was being relatively well cared for and that it was pretty happy. He walked into the enclosure and just watched as it continued to prance around, not wanting to approach it yet.

Anna looked at the little unicorn prancing around in the enclosure and felt bad for the little thing. It must have been awful to be orphaned after a fire. After Prof. Davenport explained that Jack was correct about the age of the unicorn and if they wanted to approch it, Anna immediatly perked up and approched cautiously toward the enclosure. She wasn't afraid, she just really wanted to see a unicorn up close.

Ash's interest in the unicorn suddenly sparked as it was mentioned that they could approach him. She slowly moved toward him as all the others did. It must feel quite strange being slowly approached by this many students. As a child she never believed in unicorns, she never believed in anything magical, although she pretended to believe in the tooth fairy because her parents gave her money for that, now she was standing in front of a live one, a real one. Amazing.
Ash had always thought that unicorns where all pink or silver, but a gold unicorn never crossed her mind before. The fairy-tale books she read as a child all mentioned them being pink and white. She really wondered what a gold one looked like.

Becca watched as the students approached, pleased that they were taking a respectful pace towards Morningstar. The colt noticed them as well and decided it was a game, running towards them, only to turn and bolt in the other direction at the last minute. He wanted to play tag, but that was the last thing Becca needed.
She slipped her hand in her pocket and pulled out a couple of bright red apples. "Mr. Roarbitz... Mr. Nollet. Try this," she called out, tossing one to each boy. They would have the apples since they had the disadvantage in this particular lesson.

Jack turned at the sound of his name just in time to see a apple being hurled at him. He caught it and smiled, now the unicorn would come over for sure. It had to have liked apples or the professor wouldn't have been giving them one. Holding the apple he moved a bit closer to the unicorn seeing if he could entice it into coming over so that he could pet it, but it came a few steps forward and retreated when it almost reached him. He figure he would try approaching it in a minute or so after it had calmed down a bit. It looked like it was full of energy and in the mood to play.

Pat had been a little distracted, thinking about how the unicorn, Morningstar, had lost his home in that fire, but he came back to himself quick enough to catch the apple that Professor Cavenport had tossed him. He smirked slightly; it seemed that he and Jack would need these to gain the unicorn's trust, as they were guys after all. He followed Jack's suit, edging nearer to the prancing unicorn, holding out his apple slightly toward Morningstar. He probably wouldn't come over, but it was worth a shot.

{as long as you don't make him do anything stupid like run you through with his horn or jump the fence, you can go ahead and write his actions } Morningstar caught sight of the apples and trotted over to the boys, unable to decide which one to go to first. He headed towards one boy, only to shake his mane as if he changed his mind and make his way closer to the other. Then he would notice the girls and start to approach them before remembering the apples again.

Jack watched as the Unicorn first went for the apple in his hand and then for the one in Pat's and then for the girls. It seemed that the Unicorn couldn't make up it's mind on if it wanted the apple or the girls or what. Jack was thinking though that if it didn't make up it's mind soon he was going to eat the apple himself. He hadn't had anything really to eat all day and was pretty hungry, so the apple was looking really good at the moment. He decided that he would give Morningstar a couple of more minutes chance before he ate the unicorns apple.
