When dealing with the larger animals, Becca usually held class in the great pen outside. Morningstar was hardly a big creature yet, but at a year and a half, he was still considered a foal.
At the moment, both Professor and unicorn were still in the stable, preparing for class. The hut was locked up, the signal for the students that class would be outside. Hopefully the fourth years would remember to stay outside of the corral until instructed to enter.

Talia walked outsaide, absoulutely loving this class, she couldn't wait! She did a little spin, and continued on, she looked into the hut, seeing if it was closed, so she stayed outside and waited until she was told to enter. She didn't see anyone else, but also, she didn't mind. She sat down on the grass, and waited some more. She was eager to see what they would be doing today. She knew not a lot of people were interested in this class, but that didn't make her change her mind about it!

Jack exited the castle through the front doors and began to walk down to his Care of Magical Creatures class, which was usually held outside. As he got closer to the hut he noticed that it was closed, a sign that the class was going to be held at the corral. He also noticed that the teacher was no where to be seen and that the only person there was another student, that from the back looked like a Hufflepuff girl. The girl was sitting on the lawn, so he decided to go and sit by her. When he was less than five feet away he realized who the Hufflepuff was. "Well hello again." he said to Talia as walked over to where she was sitting.

Talia grinned, "Fancy meeting you here." She said, unsure of what else to say, she had said everything during the other classes. "Not a lot of people are into this eh?" She said, gesturing to the hut. She smiled, "At least we get to be outside." She said, stretching her legs in front of her. It was another beautiful day, there weren't many left since it was autumn and what not... "Should be a good day to have this class..." She finished saying.

"Ya I know I never expected to meet you here." Jack said with a smile. He had known that she was taking this class ever since he had told her he was when they had met by the lake. "It certainly doesn't look that way." he said with a smile when she had said that there wasn't a lot of people into the subject. "but we might just be really early or they might be really late." he said with another smile. "The day is great though and I have to agree that it is good to be out of the castle for a change."

Pat exited the castle, walking down the grounds toward the hut for CoMC. The class was alright with him; he was usually pretty good with the creatures Professor Davenport brought to class. As he reached the hut, he saw that Jack and Talia were already there. The two of them seemed to be in many of his classes, among the first ones there. Pat smirked as he walked up next to them. "Are you guys followin' me, or what?" he asked, a joking tone in his voice.

((This post is really going to suck. I'm uber tired with a head ache, sorry))
Lauren made her way outside. Sure, she loved outside classes, but she hated having to go the walking distance. Couldn't outside be closer, like in her dorm room, where she could watch from in her bed. Nope, they had to be all the way outside.
Seeing two other students there already, she grinned slightly, glad to not be the only one there. She hated being with the professors alone. Even the cool ones. It was awkward.

"Hi Patrick, It seems that were following each other." Jack said with a laugh. When he had looked up as Patrick spoke he had noticed that there was another student coming down to the class. It looked like it was a Slytherin girl. When she had gotten to them he said, "Hello." with a smile. Trying to make the girl feel welcome. There was now four students at the class and he was wondering when the class was going to start.

Anna walked outside into the school grounds. Finally, an opertunity to get out of the castle in one of her favorite classes. As long as there was no surprise quiz or anything like it, Anna's good mood would keep up. Seeing that a few people have already arrived and that class hadn't started just yet. "Hey Lauren!" she greeted since she was the first person she came upon.

As the students started to gather, Becca trotted out the topic of the day's lesson. Her unicorn was hardly a baby anymore, having lost the last traces of his golden coat over the summer. Morningstar was now a radiant silver, broken only by the pure white star spot on his forehead just below his short horn.
"Ladies and gentlemen, let's begin," she announced to the students as she let the young unicorn run around the enclosure. "Our topic is obviously the unicorn. As usual, we start with what we already know. Anyone?"

Pat smiled at Anna and Lauren in greeting as they arrived, but it was not long after this that Professor Davenport came forward, accompanied by a unicorn. Pat's eyes followed the unicorn for a second as it trotted around; he smirked as he saw how similar it's hair looked to his own silver hair, and that of so many of his relatives. His attention turned back to the professor as she asked what they knew about unicorns; he spoke up. "Their tail hair's used for wands," he said. His own wand had a unicorn hair core, so that bit of information came easy to him.

Talia stood up now, not wanting to seem uninterested, and she didn't really know what to say for this question either. Either she was really dumb, or really out of it... or both. She looked at Pat and grinned, at least he used common sense. She sighed and looked at the Unicorn, glad they were starting off with something that appeared aproachable, and the unicorn was definetly cool looking... and such. Talia smiled, getting almost lost in thought.

Anna looked up at professor Davenport as she began to talk about the class. "Unicorn, should be a fun class." she thought to herself. When Davenport asked the class what they knew about unicorns, at least Anna knew a few things about them. She just couldn't wait to see it up close, if they were allowed Or so she hoped. Raising her hand she said, "Don't unicorns perfer a woman's touch?"

Jack turned his attention to the enclosure as the teacher came into view and started the class, at what seemed to be the normal way of asking them what they knew about the subject. He knew a bit about Unicorns and was glad that he could answer the question for once instead of trying to fingure out how he was going to say that he knew nothing. After Pat and Anna had raised their hands and gave what they knew about he topic he raised his hand and said, "They are born gold, so by the looks of it's silver coat it is at least two, maybe older. They don't go full white until they are seven or so." He knew this from reading about a couple of magical creatures in his school book and in his other books. He by no means knew everything on the subject but for some reason this was one of the subjects that he had looked at over the summer.

"Yes, they do prefer a woman's touch, but as Morningstar here is still fairly young, he doesn't usually shy away from the young men," the professor announced, signaling with her hand that they were allowed to enter the holding pen. "And Mr. Roarbitz is absolutly correct. Morningstar is a little over two years old, orphaned after a terrible fire we had in the Dark Forest a couple of years back. If you care to do any patting, you will need to approach calmly."
