Ash sat on the the far ends of the Ravenclaw stands. She had seen her sister earlier and wanted to er- stray away from that area of the stands. She had painted a large sign blue and bronze of course for her Ravenclaw team. She even tried to draw a eagle although that had failed. Instead she had covered the details up with bronze paint, basically it was a outline of an eagle. It was really a master-piece to her. She had taken two whole weeks to accomplish it! After the game she would most likely still keep it. She couldn't part with this piece of work, no, too much time was put into it. Ash was sure Ravenclaw would win, no doubt at all, although Hufflepuff had many good players , they weren't nearly good enough to win Ravenclaw. They had it down, and if they didn't- she had wasted two weeks on a poster that she would never use again!

Flora ran up to the quidditch pitch to find the game hadn't started yet. She knew that her sister was playing for their house today and wanted to see her. After all, Flora had never really been to a game or seen her sister play for that matter. Going up to the stands, her black and yellow paint still on her face, she managed to find a spot to sit on the Hufflepuff end. She would have tried to sit with Michelle, only thing was that she was a Ravenclaw and they might not want a huffle there right now. "Time to see vhy the school is in such an uproar about Quidditch." she thought to herself.

She looked around herself, it seemed a lot of people decided to paint themselves. She never approved of that idea, it was way to sticky and messy, and what would happen if there was bits and chunks of blue or yellow paint in their hair weeks from now? No, it was foolish and absurd.
Ash glanced through her binoculars and noticed that some of the players had painted themselves silly too. Smirking, she set them down, why was she alway anti-everything? perhaps she would try this...er... ritual next time? Least likely although it was on her mind.

Beni had felt just slightly nervous by her debut as the Qudditch announcer. She hadn't seen beloved Willy in some time, and although she felt as though he was quite able at it, she couldn't see why she couldn't join in on the announcing fun.
Sitting in the high bleachers, a clear view for the action of the Qudditch match, Beni rubbed her hands in anxiety before pointing a wand to her throat and said, "Sonorus!" Soon enough even her breaths were audible, and she took it upon her to start the commentating.
"Today we mark the kick off this term's Qudditch season!" She waited for any roars of excitement before contiuing on. "And which teams would be more appropiate to start it? Why, that's going to Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Ravenclaw, the golden poster boys and girls for a perfect Qudditch season-- leading their house to a proud Qudditch and House cup last term, are probably more than pumped to get their hands on the gold again. But we can't leave out their opponent, Hufflepuff, who have started to show a promise with focused training and a house spirit that flies higher than any of the Eagles. It's going to be a match to see, and boy-oh-boy is it a great way to begin another year of Hogwarts Qudditch!" Beni grinned and said nothing more. It was easier than she thought. Now to see the action...

Okay, I am a sub, probably won't need to play, no need to panic, Kyle kept repeating that in his head. He was very very nervous, not so much about the game nor playing a game, but playing in front of so many people. What if he made a fool of himself? What if he fell from a broom? And speaking of brooms, what if he had to play without a broomstick?
Shaking his head a couple of times, he sat down on a bench and looked at the others. Allegra sure was hyper, completely different than her normal self. Perhaps the Thornton family had another child? He didn't know nor he cared at the moment. He hoped the others were too busy to notice his presence.

"LITTLEDUDE!" Drew cheered, greeting the youngest member of the team as he sat down nearby. "You doing okay? You don't look so okay? Gonna hurl? It's okay if you hurl, you know that, right? Just do it before we go out on the pitch because otherwise, it gets really nasty."

"And if you do try to make sure it's in a toilet or garbage because that'll be a lot easier to clean up too." The blind prefect added after his normal inspections to make sure that all the new players had bells and the old ones didn't lose them. With his broom in one hand and the a beaters bat in the other Hiro was ready for the start of a new season.

Kyle forgot to protest at his nickname and looked up. He had almost gotten used to the odd feeling in his stomach, but Drew's non-stop questions made him remember and if possible, be even more aware of that sickening feeling. He didn't know, but he's starting to look a bit green.
"I am fine," he squeaked and gulped. His squeak went surprisingly well with the chime of the bells around him, but he's too busy to pay attention to that.

Mike stalked the path that led from the Hufflepuff changing rooms, this was it.......this first match could determine their fate, whether they would be living the dream and taking both cups off Ravenclaw. His broomstick, a Firebolt, in hand.
"Come on where's the rest of our team"
He said to himself, the adreniline pumping through him already, he was absolutely stoked and ready to play.

Krissy was glad to see Mike there but she was beginning to think the same question. Where was the rest of the team, she swore, next game she was gunna tell them all a time an hour early, so that maybe they would arrive on time.
She ad watched both Talia and Alexis come in but hadn't said anything. Yet. she was getting ready to talk to them all. She figured she could begin without the other two, hopefully they would get there soon. And where were her alts?
Krissy stood up, her broom in her hand. "Alrighty guys. This is the big one. We want to win this game." Krissy smiled and looked around at them all. "We almost had the cup last year and I know we can take it this year. Its only Ravenclaw. Were are a good team and we work together well. So lets try and kick these ravens butts kay?" Krissy grinned. She hadn't yet announced her co-captain of her team. she was keeping that till the last minute. She'd say it soon though, very soon.

"How about not trying.....and actually kicking their butts, they have had a cake walk in the Quidditch Cup up until last year when we almost took it from them, so they will be very wary of us now"
Mike added in as he smiled at Krissy.
"Everyone have everyone elses backs, we gotta keep up the communication up their and we will be guarenteed to press them"

Talia listened with interest, wondering what the older Hufflepuffs had to say. She was new to this, and was new to the team in general. She wanted to prove that she could, and would, do her best, even if she was one of the younger players. She grinned, "We better win..." She said, more to herself than anyone else. She was usually more out spoken, but she decided to play it cool. She wasn't at all nervous for the game, she was stoked. She smiled, and couldn't wait for the game to star. Only problem was that they were missing some players...

Pat was grinning at his teammates' comments as they entered the locker room. They all seemed as hyped as he was, completely ready to take this game by the horns. That was good; they'd need every ounce of drive they had to beat Ravenclaw.
As Krissy started her pre-game pep talk, Pat became more focused, listening to her words, as well as the bits of input from Mike and Talia. "'Course we'll win, as long as we play our best," he said, still smiling. In reality, they still needed their two missing teamates, but they still had time to show up.

Jake was now a little anxious as to what was going to happen in the game. He wasn't even sure who was on his house's team but he was confident he would at least know a few of them. He leaned back against the empty seat behind him, his hands in his pockets again as he looked to the field. At least he thought it was called a field. " Come on, let's get this started. " He muttered to no one in particular.

"Leave Kyle alone!" Allegra scolded the beaters. She couldn't ever remember anyone actually throwing up from nerves in all of her years playing (once from actual sickness, but not from nerves). Plus, she had seen Kyle play. She was confident he'd be fine or else he wouldn't be there.
"Okay, you guys, goofing off aside. We really need to get serious," she told them, doing her best to wipe the excited smile from her face. "We're going into this as the reigning champs, but that also makes us a huge target. The attitude in the rest of the school is 'anyone but Ravenclaw' so we have to go out there and prove we still deserve the title. They're going to be giving it all they've got, so we have to give more."
She took a deep sigh. "Last year, the Huffles were our strongest competitor, so you better believe they're going to go out there to try and prove something. We've been practicing hard and we're going to show them we're the lean mean quidditch machine we always have been! We have a great keeper, the best beater team out there, a tight team of chasers, and a seeker who is unbeatable. We're going to win this one!"
