She wasn't sure who was looking forward to this particular lesson more, the professor or the subject. The Abraxan colt she owned had been flighty all day, stomping around in his stall and shaking his mane impatiently. Having seen (and been obviously jealous of) Morningstar's lesson, Tony was ready for his.
Unfortunately, Becca refused to bring him out while he was worked up. While he was young, he was still big and could possibly injure a student with his over-exhuberance. So as the students started to gather by the corral, Becca ws in the stable, trying to calm the hyper horse.

"Aw!" Beni gasped in delight when she saw the surprise by the corral. "What a beautiful horsey, Professor Davenport!" She grasped her bag, and walked closer to the professor. Though now that she was closer, she could see that he was a bit on the sugar-powered side. "I see we have a lot in common, the horsey and me."

Ivy, deciding to dress up for the occasion, was suited in a full-out cow girl getup. She even had a pink lasso and a pink 10-gallon hat. "YEEEEEEEEEE-HAW!" Ivy screamed out foolishly as she skipped over to Beni, Davenport and the winged horses. However, the moment was slightly ruined when Ivy tripped over her lasso and rolled on the ground clumsily. Her book bag hit her in the head and she was knocked out for a couple of seconds before giving out a groan.

Kian had always found Care of Magical Creatures to be one of his most enjoyable classes back in Spain and here as well. Reaching the spot they'd be having their lesson that day his eyes widened slightly. He couldn't see the Abraxan colt that well but even in its young age it appeared to be a truly magnificent creature. He could allready tell he was going to enjoy this lesson and with that thought a smile came to his lips.
Spotting their professor, Beni, and one of his fellow Huffles he was about to say hi when his fellow Hufflepuff tripped over what seemed to be a lasso she'd brought to the lesson. Thinking she might be heart he closed the distance between them in a short run, "Are you okay? Looked like that hurt," Kian said slight worry showing out of his eyes, reaching her just as she let out a groan, "Need a hand up?" he asked extending his hand to her just in case she was a little dizzy.

Ivy looked up at Kian and winced, clutching her head. "Er... yes, I'm fine, thank you," she reached out for his hand and managed to give him a smile. "Th-thank you..." she said again, rather embarrassed. She brushed herself up, after getting on her feet again. With her wand, she changed her wardrobe back to her regular school robes, feeling sick of the absurd cowboy getup.
Ivy recognized the Hufflepuff boy from her year, but she hadn't seen him in a while. Ivy never hung out with anyone her age or younger, but she would have to this year. "I'm Ivy," she nodded at him. "...thank you again for helping me up," she blushed a bit, trying not to think about it.
That was the thing about Ivy. She was airheaded and dreamy, but she always apologized at least ten times whenever someone was kind to her.

"Bloody Merlin!" Beni said as she rushed over to see if Ivy was alive. "STAY ALIVE, IVY! DON'T GO INTO THE LIGHT...." But as she finished her sentence, Ivy was back into the living world and Kian had already come to help.
"Are you sure you're fine? Didn't bang anything? It looked like you got a good one to the head," she said as she couldn't do anything but ask how Ivy was feeling.

She was truly touched that Beni didn't want her to die. She gave her a smile and nodded at her. "Aye, I'm fine-- thank you," she bowed slightly to her and put her hand to her heart. "I am so lucky that everyone is so kind and considerate,"
Ivy was moved that people cared for her well-being, even if she was stupidly prancing around in a pink cow-girl outfit shouting weird things. She didn't even know what "yee-haw" meant. What does it mean anyway?

"Well when you show up in a cowgirl outfit, we try to take into account of your wellbeing," Beni said rather seriously, but soon enough broke into a smile. "Kidding, my friend! But really, I wouldn't quite like it when my friend and partner in crime konked herself on the head."

Ivy smiled at Beni. Partners-in-crime? Indeed. "What would the Ryder Hailey Fan Club do without it's co-president?" Ivy said jokingly, sighing sadly. "Especially when there are currently only two members,"
Ryder = manly librarian qualities. Oh, that's right-- Beni is still my rival. Oh well. The girl has fashion sense...
She grinned at Beni before brushing her hair away. "Winged horses, neh? How beautiful," she sighed again in a girly fashion.

"What's all the commotion?" Kellen asked once he was close enough to the group to talk to them. From a distance it looked like Ivy had fallen over herself, but she seemed to be all right now. "Did I miss anything dreadfully exciting, then?"

Ivy gasped as she saw Kellen, she rushed over to him and hugged him tightly. "Kellen! Speak of the Devil!"
What she meant, she didn't even know. What was so "speak of the devil"? I don't know, Ivy's just always wanted to say that. Ivy didn't really understand half of what she said anyway. However, she was definitely happy to see the Head Boy.
How she loved the rare 7th Year boy. She smiled at Beni slightly.
"I haven't seen you since last hour!"
((wow this is the most "this doesn't make sense" post I've ever written in my history of RP. Believe me-- that is DEFINITELY saying something))

"....Um?" was the best response Kellen could muster after being swept into a tight hug by Ivy. He shot a confused look at his other classmates, hoping someone would explain what was so exciting to the girl. "Yup, I'm here. I know, I can hardly believe it either," he said, still feeling rather awkward and trying to make light of it all.

Ivy whispered in Kellen's ear. "Shhhh, Kellen! Just play along, we're going to try to make Allegra jealous okay? That way-- she'll come to realize her true feelings for you."
It was one of those obnoxious things about Ivy. Always trying to stick her pretty nose into other people's business. It was especially bad since Kellen and Allegra did not appreciate the Hufflepuff's outrageous antics to try to force get them together. However, Ivy had the best intentions-- she was just ruthless.
"It's okay! I know what I'm doing!" she said to Kellen, still holding onto him tightly.

"Oh, Merlin. Ivy! Let go of me!" Kellen groaned as he tried to wriggle out of the girl's grasp. It was no use. "C'mon, Ivy, I can't breathe. Ivy!" This was pointless. Allegra was hardly going to get jealous if he was strangled to death. Not that she'd be getting jealous anyway, of course. It's not like she'd fall for some stupid trick like this anyway, even if she were the type to get jealous. And why would she get jealous? There was nothing ... "Ivy, I'm going to pass out soon if you don't quit it."

Allegra came onto the scene right on cue and just in time to hear Kellen's last words. Those two syllables were enough to bring a small smirk to her face, not from jealousy (because really... what was there to be jealous of? It wasn't like they were anything more than friends, right?) but definitely ready for a tease.
"Gee, Ivy. What would Mike say?" she asked. She wasn't a big fan of the Huffle boy, but had a feeling Ivy didn't mind him so much.
