Ty slightly turned on his broom to see who was yelling his name. As it turned out it was a first year Gryffindor that he had met up in the owlery. Did she honestly expect him to toss her the quaffle. They were on completely opposite teams for heavens sake and he really didn't want to be rude but this wasn't the time to worry about coming off as rude. "Your not even on my team." he yelled turning back around and heading for the goal. He hoped that she wouldn't hold it against him, but at the moment he had to only concentrate on Slytherin winning the match.

She growled at him and sped up. If he wasn't going to give it over... then she would try her best to claim it from him. "Fine then," she replied, as she would hold this against him. Although she would probably forgive the boy after a few days, she wasn't that cold. Chase leaned forward on her broom almost close enough to him to touch the tail of his broom. She wondered what model he rode.

He mounted his broom and up in the air. "Oh, man," he said. He hadn't been flying since summer which was like three months ago. He looked around for the snitch. The only way he was going to not catch the snitch was either he hit something or his broom lost control. The broom he had was sort-of possessed or so-called. He didn't believe it and obvisously it wasn't true. But he heard it could lose control and if it did.
It was over.

The whistle blew and Anna immediatly got on to her broom and took off with her beaters bad. "Time to knock a few snakes off their brooms." she said to herself. Flying off toward the chasers, Anna approched a bludger and smacked it toward the Slytherins. Turning around to take a quick look at Tristan to see if he was doing alright. To her, he was doing fine so she continued following the gryffie chasers to make sure nothing hit them.

At the whistle Corey had immdiately re-centered himself infront of the hoops as the six chasers battled for posession of the quaffle. It seemsed as though it would be a melee for some time, and it was a moment after that the young and untested second year chaser shot from the group, quaffle in posession. Their own untested firstie in pursuit. What a way to start the game.
The sixth year slackened his hand grip on his broom, his legs becoming vices as he controlled his speed and steering with them. "Eye on the quaffle, keep your eye on the quaffle." He muttered to himself. It was game one and he was NOT going to lose it.

Ash raised an eyebrow at the way Lauren was speaking, it sounded a bit funny although she couldn't tell how she was doing it or what she was trying to achieve. She shrugged it off and decided to not mention it, " I love flying although I would never dream of trying out for the team-- I don't do well in the spot light." she said, the cold breeze nipping at her cheeks. She couldn't imagine how cold it was for the players out there.
Ash set her mug down and shivered a bit. Her drink was getting cold, and it wasn't helping her warm up at all.

Chase tilted her broom a little left, straying a little behind Ty, although still at full speed. She glanced at him, slightly, they were just a few feet from eye to eye. She smiled, this was going to be fun. He didn't look like a very tough opponent, especially since he had actually replied to what she had asked of him. Perhaps, if I distract him more... That probabley wouldn't happen though.

Artemis smirked and yelled " Chase!" Hoping the yell would distract her, there was nothing against him talking to other players. He was in mid sentences when he saw a glint of gold near the gryffendor stands, art's face contorted in concentration. He spun quickly and took of after it in a dive. after a few moments though artemis realized he had just seen sunlight mixing with a lion badge but he kept moving hoping the stupid lion seeker would imitate him as he followed his line around like he was tailing something or going after something in the distance. (he is just trying to get tristan to follow him, no snitch see as of yet)

Dan couldn't help but grin at the naiviety of the youngins (their official name). Ty and the firstie on the other team. Then Art. Geez. They did some good distracting - maybe he could learn something off them... Dan smacked a bludger in Brittany's direction with no actual reasoning behind it. After all, the gryffie seemed to be covered with the firsties just trying to get her attention. Couldn't be that hard; Daniel thought of Arty as mini-casonova. ( xP ) The best looking firstie there was. If she didn't like him then she was still childish.

Alhana had pulled on her robes and trotted into the stadium with Brittany in the lead. She kicked off hard from the ground the moment the whistle sounded and she sped off in pursuit of the nearest Bludger.
The first hit that would be made was to be had was the Slytherin Seeker, Artemis they called him. Alhana swung her bat with all her might and grinned when it went zooming off to Tayern, more or less on a direct path with the boy's gut. No Seeker meant no Snitch.

Chase looked back for a split second to Artemis as her name was called by his dreamy voice. Gah, he was like the Orlando Bloom of Hogwarts or something, his hair blowing in the wind, it was all too much for her to take, she just couldn't stand how charming the boy was. Although as soom as she saw the bludger running towards him, she screamed, "ORLANDO, WATCH OUT!!(( chase calls Arty anything she wants because she's Chase and she can- in this case, Orlando= Arty))" she bit her lip although knew she had to concentrate, what Alhana had done had seriously ticked a nerve in Chase's mind. Alhana...grrr

As soon as Alhana hit the pitch, Drew was on his feet, cheering her on at the first hit she got off. "THATS MY GIRL! GO BABY GO!" he shouted from the stands, hoping for a Gryffindor victory. He'd probably be on the receiving end of a bludger next for calling her baby in public like that, but hey... he was caught up in the moment. Who could blame him?

"What the hell? Chase! Leave the littledude alone and do your job," he yelled out to her. He hoped the cuss wasn't bad. But they had a game to play. He then turned to the other seeker. His broom then started to fly by itself a bit. "What?" he said. He then hit the broom. "This broom is a piece of crap," he said. The Firebolt sure as heck wasn't good anymore. He then saw that Art was chasing something. He sighed and still stayed in his place. It was obvious a 'Slytherin Trap'.
He was sure not going to fall for that. He then held a good grip on the broom to control it.

Ivy, coming out of nowhere, aimed a stuffed animal at Drew's rather large head. "SHUT UP, THORNTON! SOME OF US ARE TRYING TO ENJOY THE GAME!" she grinned at him, hoping that he would realize she was joking. Ivy, of course, was dressed in the shades of scarlet and gold. She had stole borrowed a Gryffindor scarf and mittens from a friend.
In her hands, she held a Gryffindor flag. Of course, she favored Hufflepuff above all; but between Gryffindor and Slytherin, she would choose Gryffindor any day.

Chase shot a venomous glare at Tristan, " SHOVE IT UP YOUR FAT ASS, HOWARD!" she hissed loudly so he could hear it clearly. She was seriously just doing her job as a girlfriend, she didn't want Bun-Bun to get hurt, sure she wanted to win--but she didn't want him to get hurt. If winning meant that he was going to be injured than winning doesn't matter to her. This was absurd, why were they being so mean? Especially that Alhana girl, she was going to get a peice of Chase's mind after the game.
