Hiro's books and homework lay all over the table he was working at, quills, parchment, the like however he wasn't even near that table any more. He was laying on his back on a couch it looked like he had brought his work to a more comfortable spot but his arms were at ease and a large peice of paper was laying over his face. It was just too hard to keep up sometimes.

The Gryffindor Prefect had spent no more than the required time in the lounge, and thus never really enjoyed it for any of its perks, the bathroom, comfy chairs and couches and the like. Today was the day to try it out, or, at least actual look at it.
Entering through the portal he near imediately took notice of the Ravenclaw, though he had to be a Prefect, this explained what was meant by 'Do your job, nothing'. Throwing himself into one of the arm chairs he chuckled lightly, his eyes surveying the room.
(I'll assume Hiro's asleep?)

(Yep)
Hiro's head was still covered by what looked like a map of a section of the school, if looked at closer one could notice some notes that resembled more markings than letters. He continued to breath steady while the other prefect joined the room.

"Oi, McVeil! Stop ruddy loungin'!" Corey called out with a small chuckle. Wasting the day away was a bloody brilliant idea, except for the fact that the day was nearly over and they had dinner followed rather closely by rounds. Or, rather, pre-curfew rounds. Stop the miscellaneous duels and the like. That was always fun.
Not. Throwing yourself in front of who knows what, or trying to cast a shield charm at just the right moment, no, not fun at all.

"I'm not rowdy lunging." Hiro said in a groggy voice. He lifted his hand lazily to sush him away.

"Roight, your just resting your eyes. Come on chap, Dinner in a bit, so git ye ruddy self up an' atom cause I definitely ain' coverin' yer rounds an' mine." He countered with a small chuckle, but all seriousness.
Pulling one badge was one thing, and he'd pull Keagan's if he had to, house duty and all that junk. It was Drew's job to pull Hiro's faltering load until he got told otherwise. And he wasn't going to get Drew.

"I had to work the late night shift yesterday, and then classes. Now I have to get up to work before and during dinner. The schedule is unfair..." Hiro continued to grumble as he rolled over still not getting up.

"Life's unfair," Charlie uttered the cliche phrase from the doorway. She was a dirty, and possibly smelly. The grass and dirt stains had gone on her face and her clothes. She smelled like sweat and grass, not necessarily a good combination. But now that a successful qudditch practice had come and passed, she was a jovial mood. Forgetting about taking that vital shower, she plopped down on a couch and put her feet up.
"I gotta do all that stuff, too. It ain't all that bad." Of course, she always lied to Reina about the schedule, telling her that the night shift was all hers, so that Charlie wouldn't have to deal with it.

"Ain' it though? Aye, fine, sleep if ye wan' I ain' about to come knockin' twice though." He said to Hiro after Charlie's words.
"Wha' ever became o' that idea of yours Jones?" He questioned, really knowing her by no other name. Sure, it was probably bound to spark off something, but he'd heard worse thigns than last names.

"Fine I will." Hiro said as if he just won an arguement. THe truth was the shifts weren't killing him he just had a lot of things on his mind and often lost sleep because of it.

(sorry sorry! I never got to putting this in my bookmarks)
"Eh, that's old news. Wasn't as good as I thought," Charlie explained as she took off one of her socks and wrung it, the melted snow seeping out from her sock and onto the floor. She could have done it in the bathroom, but she was just as comfortable where she was.
"C'mon, Hiro," Charlie said as she kept on wringing her other sock, "They've got good food for once. I heard they're gonna be making turkey with the fixin's again." She immediately grew hungry, and her stomach agreed with her as it rumbled, complaining and asking her why she was there and not in the Great Hall.

"Tha' would be more than enough reason fo' me to join in." Corey claimed before shrugging lightly and shaking his head at the Ravenclaw's gloating prospective victory. He wasn't sure how sound a sleeper he was but if need be he could easily shove him into the Prefect's bath full of cold water. And that, would result in him getting hexed to next Thursday AND the Wing.
"Ye go' a first name so I'm no' callin' ya Jones for the rest of eternity?" He questioned with a small grin. It seemed rather, well, wrong to not know her first name, specially when this was probably going to be where they retreated to to avoid common room hell.

"What? I'm not notorious yet?" Charlie looked up with a fake shock. Somehow, she remained a low-key troublemaker, and yet that wasn't totally surprising to her. She wasn't one to care about popularity and such.
"Charlie. But you can call me Jones, I don't really care," Charlie nodded at him in response. "So... Faulkland? I remember your name 'cause that's a small town in New York, near Albany. Funny first name. Yeah, so you actually liked the idea, right? That's right, 'cause you were my first supporter," she nodded once more, trying to call that battlefield called a prefect's meeting. She only hoped there wasn't mention of her idea in the next meeting (whenever that would be).

"I can do better than that." Hiro complained about the turkey as he turned himself towards the back of the couch. He then pulled up a pillow over his head to help block their chattering.

"I don't doubt that," Charlie told him, before she had a lightulb go off in her head. Turning to put a finger to her lips-- the signal to shush-up-- at Corey, she tip-toed to Hiro, her sock in hand. As nonchalantly as possible, she added with a sigh, "But someone should put a sock in it." And with that, she dropped her wet sock on his head.
