"We shall," Arianna gave a short nod and followed after, allowing a genuine smile to find its way onto her lips. How could such a simple thing get her to smile despite the little war going inside her head? A part of her said she should just drop her reservations, relax, and just go with it. And as much as she would love to, Arianna couldn't bring herself to do so. She wasn't that same fearless girl she'd been before. Not in these situations anyway.

With a slight nod Kian smiled when he'd caught her own. He wasn't sure what was wrong with Arianna but whatever it was he wouldn't push her he'd just take things as they came. Kian wasn't sure what was happening between them but he also wouldn't mind finding out but he'd leave her to figure out whatever she needed to. "So where should we take these guys to get some grub?" he asked to get them talking again, now walking beside her once more.

"Kitchens," Arianna replied immediately. She did have food up in her room, but it seemed like such a bother to run up there to get it. Besides, the girl really wouldn't mind having a little more time to talk with Kian. Even if she was having troubles figuring out what was going on. Maybe it would help her out, even. Though she was certain this wasn't one of those times when she'd discover a cute boy really wasn't all that interesting, she might find a reason why he made her feel the way he did.

He'd almost thought perhaps she might have decided to go get food for Juni herself but he'd been pleasantly surprised by her immediate response. "Then kitchens it is," Kian said with a smile as he looked over at her. "Funny how both our cats are black and have apparantly become close friends," he said adjusting Midnight slightly to allow him to lay in the crook of his opposite arm to Arianna his front paw hanging over his arm. "Seems i was missed," he added before looking away from Midnight to Arianna once more.

"I think we both were," Arianna commented, glancing down at Juni as she headed down the corridor. The cat was playfully batting at her hair, something he did only when Arianna returned from classes at the end of the day. Juni paused a moment, though, when he saw Arianna's eyes upon him. The girl couldn't be so sure, but she thought he'd given her one of those looks that said she was passing up on something good. If only he knew how difficult it was. But try explaining that to a cat.

"Are you hungry?" Kian asked deciding to aim more at a question to try to get Arianna to begin talking again. He wasn't sure if it would help talking, but you never knew it just might. Midnight still didn't know what to make of the girl but considering she was the owner of Juni and apparantly knew Kian she couldn't be all that bad. though his lids were partially closed he did watch her from time to time and Kian himself. "If you are i suppose we could get a bite to eat as well since we're going for this guys allready," he said raising Midnight slightly with his arm.

"Well, I haven't had breakfast yet," Arianna replied, reaching a hand down to her stomach as though to calm its grumblings. If she hadn't been spending most of the morning looking for Juni, the girl would have gone down to the Great Hall for something to eat earlier. At this point, though, she wasn't sure if breakfast was still being served down there.
"I think I want some crepes today," the girl mused, snuggling Juni close to her chest again. She didn't get crepes very often. Only when she was visiting te Thorntons or on the rare occation they served them at Hogwarts.

"Now that i think about it i haven't eaten breakfast yet either hadn't really thought about that until now," Kian replied with a slight frown soon replaced by a smile. "But now that you bring it up i'm hungry," he said with a slight laugh, "Haven't you ever found that kind of odd? How once someone mentions something you crave it." Midnight's purrs did not silence if anything they grew lighter. He hadn't even noticed that allready they'd gotten closer to their destination, the kitchens.
"Crepes? I don't think i've had one before," he said with a smile. "But i'm always willing to try something at least once. How else would i find out if i liked something."

"You haven't had crepes?" Arianna questioned, her eyes wide. She glanced at the boy to see it what he'd said was true. It seemed it was. "Oh, my gosh. You really need to try them. They're kinda like thin pancakes with a sort of cream filling and topped with fruit. They are so good. I can't believe you've never had them."
Arianna could've gone on a bit longer. Maybe about the day she and Drew made their own crepes with pudding instead of the cream filling, or how good they were with a tall glass of orange juice. She thought she'd babbled on long enough, though, so she quickly shut her mouth, hoping she wasn't blushing again.

He laughed at her expression, "Nope can't say i've ever had them. Though they sound good guess i'm just gonna have to find out how good they are with you." Kian blinked after he'd spoken since he wasn't sure how she'd take what he'd said. He'd allready told himself he would let her make her own decisions regarding whatever she was thinking about. So he decided to continue their conversation before an awkward silence could develop, "So do they actually fill you? Being thin and all?" He doubted he'd been really smooth but just maybe.

Arianna bit her lip to keep from giggling. I'm just gonna have to find out how good they are with you. Well, one could think he wanted to taste Ari along with the crepes. Arianna was certain he hadn't meant it that way, but it was cute and funny all the same.
"I'm sorry..." the girl apologized when a few giggles happened to escape as she was trying to speak. When she finally got herself under control, the girl tried again. "I think they fill you up pretty well. Of course...I always eat a dozen or so in one sitting."

Kian was sure he would have hit himself upside the head when Ari's giggles had erupted if not for Midnight who currently presided in his arms. He did on the other hand turn a slight shade of red, taking on a slightly sheepish smile as he looked at her, "It's okay." He somehow managed to speak and tried his best to hide his slight blush at what she could have possibly taken from his words. "Oh okay then well just have to make plenty then," Kian said in an attempt to escape his embarassment.

Arianna bit back her smile. She found it rather cute when Kian blushed. She nearly said something about it, but thought better against it. He was already embarrassed enough as it is. Why embarrass him further if she could prevent it?
"Well, maybe you should eat them alone first," the girl commented, stopping a moment as she tried to unhook one of Juni's claws from her shirt. Distracted with the cat for a moment, she didn't really pay attention to her next words until after she said them. "Then when you eat them with me, you can tell me how much better they taste."
Dang, she was doing just as well as Kian was. Well, maybe he wouldn't take it the same way she had.

Kian nearly stumbled at her words, which had caught him completely by surprise. Further turning red at the rest of her words he hated himself for his thoughts, the meaning he'd gotten first from her words. At an attempt to conceal his expression slightly he focused his attention on Midnight and scratched him trying to keep his eyes from the beautiful girl beside him. He didn't know what he could possibly say and mentally kicked himself in the butt. If anything it seemed their conversation had gotten worse.
Finally looking at her Kian decided to attempt not to take it as he had in his reply, "Maybe. Or since we allready were going to i can just try them alone another time."

"Yeah, that's a good idea," Arianna replied, nodding in agreement. "Though..." It might not be as good or fun. Was Arianna's initial thought. Fortunately she had only thought it and kept herself from saying it aloud. For even if Kian didn't take it as she was thinking he would, it would still embarrass her immensely.
"Eating alone should be avoided at all costs," the girl said instead. There wasn't any possible way of getting anything bad out of that...was there? "It's kinda silly to sit at the table talking to yourself."
Well, it wasn't that great of a recovery. After all, some people were able to eat lunch on their own without talking to themselves. Kian could possibly be one of them. Arianna, though, was one who found it difficult when she didn't have anyone to talk to.
