Tianne was rather sick of her life at the moment. Class, sleep, eat, class, sleep, eat, it went on and on. It was always the same routine, always the same person that would get her through it all and even the classes seemed to be getting mixed up whilst travelling at a hundred miles an hour through the girls mind. Tianne usually loved school, but her fifth year was proving to be challenging. She had her OWLs coming up, and she wasn't sure whether she was going to make it, and even pass. She had no idea what she wanted to do for her career, she wasn't even sure of her favourite subject.
Life wasn't seeming the best at the moment, she wasn't up for anything after classes, because they made her too gosh darn tired. Tianne just wanted to meet new people, to make friends with someone she had seen before but never spoken to, someone that she found funny and intellectual; in fact, Tianne just wanted someone to talk to. There were a lot of people that the birdbrain would call her friends, but the wasn't a lot that she was truly comfortable with. Matty, her fellow Ravenclaws and a couple of snakes made the list, and Tianne was plainly upset about that.
Deciding that she didn't care what she was going to do that day, Tianne awoke rather early. She lay there for a while, head resting on her hands, contemplating whether or not she was going to get up. Tianne had no idea of what the time was, but whenever it was, it was good enough; she couldn't stand doing nothing. Pushing the bundle of blankets that lay there off the bed, Tianne smiledm as her cat awoke. "Oh, did i wake you." Tianne grinned in a playful tone, before ruffling its hair rather roughly. Hearing the predictable miaow come from the cat, she decided to leave it be, it slept most of the day.
Dressing in a pair of sweatpants, Tianne grabbed up a singlet before smelling it. "Clean." She shrugged, knowing that that was a tendency of the males of her species, maybe she'd be better off being one of them; Life would be easier. Again shrugging off her thoughts, Tianne pulled on the singlet and rummaged through her trunk to find her running shoes. Slipping a beanie over her head, Tianne tied her shoelaces and headed out the door. She hadn't even paused to check what the weather was like, or even if it was light yet, but she figured that it would be okay. She had her prefects badge in her pocket, she couldn't get in too much trouble, right?
After seeing that it was still quite dark and dewy outside, Tianne paused at the front door. Should she go out into the dark and risk getting caught out before curfew ended?

Jason jogged up the stairs and continued down the hall. It was his normal morning jogging route. Normally he would go out and jog around the grounds and then come back in and go to the room of requirement and turn it into a wight room and lift for an hour. Jason kept himself in good shape, every morning he was up before any one in the Ravenclaw house go and work out be showered and ready to go to breakfast with his house mates when they woke up. Because it was so cold out he opted to start at the dungeon and work his was running every floor, he was just starting on the fourth floor, he had on his work out clothes on, long shorts and a black muscle shirt with the Ravenclaw emblem on the chest. He began down the hall and saw a figure in the distance. As he jogged closer he stopped. It was Tianne, what is she doing up so early he thought to himself.
"Tianne?" he said in a surprised voice "What are you doing up so early"

Polar bear swimming.
Done in the morning, before even the first rays of light hit the earth. Done without much common sense. Done - by Guy Styles. It was only March, which meant that he would be freezing his bum off, but something as small as hypothermia couldn't put a stop in the seventh years plans. He had never gone swimming in the lake early in the morning, and so when the idea struck him, he just went with it. He arose hours before anyone was even stirring in the Gryffindor dorms, woke up and didn't bother to change. In fact, he was still wearing what he always wore to bed, a pair of red boxer shorts and a plain white t-shirt. He didn't anticipate seeing anyone, it was too early in the morning for that.
The swim had been a relatively short one, consisting of diving into the extremely freezing cold lake and jumping out in a matter of minutes. While he was all about adventure and fun, he didn't want to stay in the lake for a prolonged amount of time. Sneaking out hadn't been bad, Guy had brought along his wand and performed a small silencing spell on himself, making walking along completely silence. Sneaking back in, though, might be a little more interesting.
It was more likely that people would be up at that hour even though it was still pretty early in the morning. It was a little later than when he had first gotten up, so therefor there was more of a risk of him being caught by someone who could get him into trouble. Professors, any member of staff, even student leaders. He knew he could talk his way out of it if he ran into any other students, but the Professors would be a bother. Sighing as he creeped up the steps that would take him to the entrance hall, Guy gently opened the door, giving a small wince as he slipped through it and into the Entrance Hall.
He held onto the door until it was completely closed, praying it would stop creaking in the way it was. The Gryffindor slowly turned around, spotting two people. He grinned sheepishly, looking down to his slightly still damp boxer shorts and his white t-shirt. " Uhh.. Hi. " He finally greeted, still grinning. What were the chances he would run into someone while dressed in only his boxers? Apparently, rather likely.

Tianne really hadn't thought that she would bump into anyone, especially not a person that was in her own house. She didn't think that there was going to be anyone walking the halls at this time, nor running them, and Tianne had basically presumed that the rest of the inhabitants of the castle would stay in bed at this unholy hour. The girl was cold, wearing her singlet, but she knew that that was going to happen until she began running, because it was only March, and Spring always started off fairly cold. She wanted to warm up as quickly as possible, but with her new companion, she wasn't really sure if he was still running.
"Oh me, I couldn't really sleep. I figured that my annual exercising day would be today, and I wanted to start early." Tianne joked, not really knowing why she was up. She didn't know if it was still curfew, but she didn't care. He was a Ravenclaw, and her friend, and catching him would be rather hypocritical, after all, she was doing the exact same thing. "What about you? You must have been up earlier than me, considering i didn't hear any movement and well, you've already been run..." She trailed off, seeing yet another person? Was it someone, or were her eyes tricking her?
Letting out a snicker when the boy came closer, realizing that he was dressing only in his boxers proved to be rather awkward. It wasn't a bad view, but Tianne couldn't let herself look. The boy would be rather embarrassed; Tianne knew that if she found herself being caught in her pyjamas by the oppositem gender, she probably wouldn't see much of the funny side. Nevertheless, Tianne couldn't stop her smirk appearing on her face, a giggle letting itself out. "What... Why have... Huh?" Tianne attempted to say, although she was tongue tied. Why was he wet, in his boxers, at this ungodly hour? And why did he smell of the lake?

Jason stood up straight, he wasn't used to stopping so soon into his run so his body was kind of outa whack "Every morning, I'm up before everyone else, If its nice out i do about 5 laps around the castle and then head to the room of requirement and lift wights, all before most of the place is even awake" he said noticing that his heart rate was starting to slow. Jason Noticed that Tianne was looking behind him, Jason turned around a saw a fellow student. He was wet and smelled like the lake. He laughed a little bit when Tianne fumbled her words. He looked at the kid "Tell me dose the term Hypothermia mean anything to you" He said with a grin to show that he was joking

Guy knew that, as a general rule, people didn't enjoy being found running around in their skivvies. He didn't either, but he was a little proud for the fact that he wasn't really embarrassed. Sure, he would have rather been seen sneaking into the castle with some pants on, but beggars couldn't be choosers. He crossed his arms over his chest, leaning casually against the wall behind him as he looked back at the younger students.
' What... Why have... Huh? ' The girl seemed at a loss for words, and Guy couldn't really tell if it was from seeing two people this early in the morning, or just his lack of pants. Either way, he snickered slightly to himself, his grin widening. He wasn't easily humiliated, even if he was gallivanting about in his boxers. " Yeah.. my thoughts exactly. " He said in almost a knowing way to the girl, laughter etched kindly into his features. He wasn't really sure what they should think... He wasn't really sure what he would think if he randomly came across some dude without pants. Huh.
It was different, though, when he was the pantsless one. " Hypothermia ain't got nothing on me.. " He said with a cheeky grin to the younger boy, even though his lips were slightly blue and his entire body was still cold from the dip in the lake. " What the gel are you guys doin' here, anyway? " He asked in a slightly accusing manner.

Smiling at Jason he explained what he was doing or had done, Tianne couldn't imagine being that fit. Her run usually lasted half an hour to an hour, and she didn't think that after that she'd still have the physical push to make her lift weights. Then again, he was a boy and she wasn't, and the stereotype about boys being more physically able than girls. She tried to be fit, and do everything that they did, but it just wasn't possible. "That's a lot, you must be tired after all of that." She grinned playfully, nodding.
Tianne still couldn't get over the fact that she was standing with two people in the early morning, at a time that she had thought that the castle would be quiet, one of the people being wet, wearing what some would consider to be undergarments. He was obviously quite a proud kid, Tianne probably would cry if she were caught in what she wore to bed. She still didn't quite catch why the boy was wearing what he was, nor being out, but Tianne couldn't find the words to ask yet, the boy seemed to have her tongue tied. It was awkward, and Tianne was glad that the rosy hue that had found her cheeks was not visible in the dark surroundings.
"I was um..." She said, finally finding words, even though it was only a selected few. Okay, you can do this. Just pretend he isn't wearing just his boxers, that he is actually wearing clothing. She thought awkwardly to herself, hoping that either of the two boys weren't good at reading minds. "I was just going to go for a run." Tianne continued talking, her gaze fixed up at the eldest boy, making sure that she blocked the boxers that she found 'giggle-worthy' our of sight.

Eight months.
Chances were nothing would go wrong and everything would be just fine. But his anxieties were causing such dreadful nightmares… stillborn… the body… so small, blue… dead. Alexander shook his head, trying to calm himself from his night terrors, filtering a hand through his hair. He didn’t want to think about it, but he couldn’t help himself but worry. Alexander left the Hufflepuff house, completely dressed and as stunning as ever, though he felt as if he could have used another three or four showers just to get the image of his small infant sibling in his crying mother’s arms.
His footsteps echoed, hoping that it wasn’t too early to be up and around, but he wasn’t in a mindset to care either. Alexader had lost so much in the past few months… between Krissy, and then Seanna’s leaving the school… both of his best friends, and in a way, the loves of his life… was it possible the sibling his mother was carrying would be the third to leave him? Or rather, be taken from him? Circumstance was horrible… and his was glorifying in aspects of loss and hardship.
The stairs were lost to the Cronon boy as he continued to climb. The owlery was his destination. A letter to his mother about his dream… asking if she was ok… and the baby… It was floors above the Huffle house, so it wasn’t uncommon for Alexander to be where he was at, however, what was uncommon, or so Alexander thought, was the group forming in the hallway. A boy he didn’t know, Guy Styles, a Gryffindor from his year, and a fellow Prefect from Ravenclaw, Tianne Barrett. Thinking at first that there was a problem, Alexander approached the group with a raised eyebrow.
Studying the situation, Guy was wet…. Had he no idea that showers were supposed to be taken, without clothes?… Alexander then turned his eyes to the other boy he didn’t know and then back to Tianne. “Is there a problem, Miss Barrett?” Alexander asked of his fellow Prefect. “Anything you need help handling?” Alexander had no idea what the situation was, but he knew that this… just wasn’t normal.

Jason Paused for a moment, he looked at the boy and laughed, "I see" he said still laughing "Man i don't think a normal person could stay in that lake long" Jason's attention turned back to Tianne, She asked if he was tied after his hellish work out, "No I'm pretty much used to it, Ive been at this workout the whole time i have been here" Jason said with a smile, "what about you how far do you run a day"
Jason Turned when the other Prefect appeared, He did'nt worry Tianne because her and he were friends but he didn't know about this kid, he knew he was a prefect from Hufflepuff but he didn't know how cool he was when it came to being out of the Houses so early.

Slightly, if not completely, confused about the appearance of a boy wet in his pyjamas, Tianne decided that it had been long enough for her to be completely over it. He was, and Jason didn't seem at all awkward, so everything seemed fine, except for her. Tianne was one of the most immature girls, and she knew it, she couldn't help but giggle when this situation had arisen. It felt kind of weird, a group standing where she had once expected to be alone, but the more the merrier, Tianne was more than happy to have the company, even if she could only seem to meet boys. "Yeah. I was going for a run." She said conclusively, finding that the words were beginning to come easier. She was comfortable to talk around Jason, sure, but with older, slightly (( )) good looking boys, Tianne was a mess; she always, always was. Smiling at the boy, of whom she was yet to learn the name of, she held out her hand, in a formal greeting sort of way. "Tianne." The young girl stated, hoping that she didn't look stupid. Did people even greet each other with handshakes anymore? Still grinning as the group was once again made bigger, Tianne was surprised to see their next 'groupie'. "Alexander.." She said, remembering him as the hufflepuff prefect, two years older than herself. "I'm not really sure. I think we're okay. Is it okay for us to be up at this time? They, uhh, we were just taking care of some..." She paused, trying to think of the word, knowing that running didn't involve what the Gryffindor had been doing in the least. " Activities." She concluded, a smile quite apparent on her features.

The girl still seemed just the tiniest bit tongue tied, and Guy smiled sympathetically at her. How awkward would he feel if he found a girl running around in just her underthings? Well... probably not very, but he did his best to understand where the fifth year was coming from... At least, he guessed that the petite brunette girl was a fifth year. He knew he would have remembered if she was a sixth year because sixth and seventh years have classes with one another, and despite her small body she didn't look like a fourth year.
As the girl answered his question, no giggles evident, Guy gave a sheepish nod of his head, he rubbed his hands together in an effort to warm himself. He was feeling pretty froggy and knew he would be alright, but for the time being he was just a tad bit freezing. " D'you often go for runs at an insanely early time in the morning? " Possibly not, he didn't know. Guy also realized that he had set himself up for the question of ' do you often roam around without pants? ' He was almost sure at least one person of their group would be dying to ask that exact question. Well, maybe not exact, but something similar to it. " Tianne. Quite a lovely name. I'm Guy Styles. " He said with a soft smile, stepping forward and shaking her hand lightly. He always felt weird shaking people's hands, but since she offered he wasn't going to turn her away, that would just be rude of him. He dropped his hand back to his side, nodding to Jason and saying, " I think I've seen you in a couple of lessons. "
Jason said something about working out and Guy sort of tuned out, thinking about how he could get back to Gryffindor without causing too much trouble or running into other people who could see him in his boxers... But then again, he wasn't ( shockingly ) really self conscious about it, so he decided to toss the last idea out, it didn't much matter who saw him. His eyes scanned left, as he saw a figure turn around the bend and walk towards them. The tiniest of smirks developed onto the Gryffindor lad's face as Alexander first addressed Tianne, asking her if she needed help. " Ever the gentleman, Alexander. " He said with a small grin on his face. It was meant as a sincere compliment, but whether or not the Hufflepuff would take it that way was beyond Guy.
' They, uhh, we were just taking care of some... ' Guy grinned at the girl, stifled a laugh as she finished off with the word ' activities. ' To him, it sounded a little... off. " Polar bear swimming. " He added in with a large nod of his head as if those three words could explain everything.

Alexander stood in place for a moment and just looked over the crowd. Tianne seemed nervous by the way she acted, but Alexander concluded that his presence there probably didn’t help the nervousness any, and the fact that she was the youngest of the four; not to mention, the only female. It was only natural for anyone to be nervous under those kinds of situations. Looking around, the one boy Alexander wasn’t sure if he knew anything or not looked him over just the same, not saying a thing. Alexander just raised an eyebrow, listening at the same time to Tianne. His eyes settled back on her as she asked a question of if they were supposed to be out that early.
Truthfully, they were not, but how could he scold anyone for doing exactly what he was doing that morning. And, at that time it was only six thirty, which would mean that they only had a half an hour until breakfast, so… Alexander shrugged nonchalant like. “Well, if everything’s alright,” Alexander chuckled and gave Tianne a small wink before shaking his head. Guy’s comment, next heard, made Alexander turn his head and look at the usually zoned out kid. He actually knew his name? Outstanding.
“Well, Guy,” Alexander paused, smirking a bit himself as he looked the kid over. “…someone has to wear the pants in this group.” He would have winked that way too, but just before he did Alexander caught himself, thinking how odd that would have been, and quickly rubbed his eyes to make it seem as if were still tired. What was he thinking? Winks were for the girls when he joked and stuff, not guys… he must have been really out of it.
“Ok then, you keep to your…” Alexander paused. Activities was exactly what Alexander had been suspicious about before. Of course, quickly Guy spoke up again and then his wetness was cleared up. “What?!” Alexander asked laughing as he turned his head back to guy. “Are you nuts?” Alexander snorted slightly. Shaking his head, Alexander put up his hands and retracted slightly. “Actually no… don’t answer that.” So, then… why were they all standing in the one spot? “We’re you all going swimming?” he asked, quizzically looking at the other two, and shoving his hands back in his pockets. More power to them if they were… Alexander was just going to look the other way…

Frankly, Jason did not care if the older prefect scolded him, because Jason didn't really care if the he didn't like him out this early or not. Jason did what he was going to do no matter what a few older students said. He frankly didn't care much for the prefects, except for the ones in his house because he got along with all of them.
When the hufflepuff asked if Guy was nuts Jason snorted, "thats what i said" Jason replyed half laughing. His attention turned back to Tianne, he could tell she was nervous but he couldn't figure out why. she couldn't been nervous around him. then he looked at the other to guys standing with them and then he figured it out. He grinned and looked back a Tianne, she was nervous being around the other guys, something Jason would tease her about later.

Smiling at the three boys, all now standing in a group, Tianne took a step back. Being the youngest, and the shortest by quite a length, Tianne felt awkward, knowing that there was at least a year between them. Jason of course was the youngest other than Tianne, and he seemed to be fitting in fine, so why, why was Tianne finding this so... well, she wasn't awkward anymore, she wasn't nervous, she was just quiet. Maybe this was Tianne over analysing the situation, and not talking to fill her hearts content like usual, but something didn't feel right.
"Ah, so the guy's name is Guy?" She smiled at the older boy, knowing that he probably had heard that joke before. Tianne had grown up with a boy named Guy, and really, she never dropped it. Hoping that the boy didn't take it badly, and knew that it was just a quite innocent joke, Tianne giggled lightly, making it rather apparent that she was joking. Thinking back to what she had previously said, she grinned, before folding her arms. "That came out weirdly."
Looking up at Alexander, Tianne shook her head. "No, I was going running. I may look it, but I'm not crazy enough to... Polar Bear swim, was it?" She said, taking a step back in and redirecting her attention to Guy. "Are you sure you aren't suffering?"

Guy grinned slightly, once again leaning back just slightly against the wall. Sure, there were a number of dudes who would be extremely uncomfortable standing around talking to two other guys and a girl just in their boxer shorts, but Guy didn't think it was too bad. While he might have preferred to be wearing pants ( as most people do ), at least he wasn't... naked or anything. Now that would be embarrassing for the seventh year. He could feel his cheeks redden at the mere thought of it, and he was glad that none of his present company were skilled in legilimency. At least... that he knew of.
His attention crossed back to Alex...ander's. Guy had to remind himself that most people called the seventh year Hufflepuff by his full name, and he should probably do the same. ' …someone has to wear the pants in this group. ' Ha, ha. Guy let out a light laugh, wondering where this dude came up with something like that. He shrugged his shoulders, commenting to him, " Whatever you say, man. " If Guy had known just how funny the Hufflepuff was, he probably would have befriended him sooner. Guy never avoided befriending people, as he was a pretty social dude when he wanted to be, he had just never talked to Alexander before.
When Guy had announced what he had been doing, a small amount of confusion seemed to roll away. Now that they knew what he had actually been up to... but that still didn't explain the boxers. Oh well.
' Are you nuts? ' Ha, ha. Had they not been in the presence of a girl, Guy would have said something back to Alexander, but as they were, he only laughed as the Hufflepuff quickly added in that he didn't really want to know. " Dude... It's not as crazy as it seems. You've never lived until you've gone polar bear swimming. But uh.. pick a warmer time of the year. It's kinda cold. " He mentioned with another light laugh and a grin. " What about you? " He asked, directing the question to his fellow seventh year about what he had been up to.
