Ryan smiled as he saw Abigail enter into the classroom. It was a funny thing, the way that the boy felt about her, and he wasn't really sure about it. He had forgotten that she had taken this elective, and a weird feeling rushed through him when she entered; a feeling of relief, of happiness. The boy grinned at the brunette, hoping that she liked him too, and watched her walk up the back to her set seat. Damn. The boy thought. Why can't she be sitting her with me?. He continued, glancing out of the corner ofhis eye, at the girl her knew as 'Jack' or something.
Glancing up at the signs, Ryan stared at them. What did that one with the person digging mean? He had seen it before, along with many others, but he had never taken the time to find out what it meant. "Oh, um, the on with the person digging, I think that means that there is roadwork?" He said, basically guessing the answer. Hopefully he was right, as he wasn't sure what this teacher would do if he was horribly wrong. He didn't really know her, but he hoped that she never showed any favoritisms.

Tianne smiled at Abby went she entered. The two hardly knew each other, but she was sure that that was the girls name. They had met during the train trip to get here, and although she didn't really get to meet the girl properly, she had a feeling that there was something going on between her and Ryan. Even if it was just innocent flirting, there was some sparks, and Tianne didn't really know how that would affect Matty. The girl that sat next to her was definitely some tough stuff and she was never going to let something as trivial as flirting get her down, that is, if there was still something going on between the two.
Tianne saw Ryan look at Abby, and the way that he did, puzzled the girl. Surely, he didn't feel that way about her; Tianne always thought that the boy liked Matty, even if they swore there was nothing happened. Turning her attention back to the class, in which she had neglected for the past few minutes, she stared at the signs, just trying to make sense of another one.

SHari looked around. It seemed like everyone was talking to everyone else. She didn't really know anyone else in the class except for Sydney, but even then, she only knew Sydney through Quidditch, so their contact was limited. She wanted to get to know the first year more though. Maybe Sydney knew Christian. Her heart fluttered. Christian James Nagle. What a good looking guy he was. even if he was a firstie.
