Shay's last time in Hogwarts was anything but dull. She had jumped around with Brittany, she ran around for professors, she rendevous-ed with an Auror briefly, and she experienced her last time in panic with the Hogwarts population. In all, it was pretty satisfying. The feeling left afterwards whispered one fact that she was pretty happy to announce: She was going to stay in the UK.
And with the last bit of things to be done, she had told Professor Raynor that she no longer had any interest in teaching. "It wasn't meant for me," Shay had said with a knowing smile. She knew there were other things calling her out.
Now with her bags packed, she was going to make her way out of Raynor's office and into the End of the Year feast when the tricky stairs lead her to the third floor. She stayed there in a paralyzed nostalgia. Memories would flood like this for the last time. She didn't remember what happened in this corridor, but it summarized other things for her. How she fought with a Slytherin over something she couldn't remember. How she tried cheering up a Gryffindor sis, or squealed in glee. It was all not in that hall, but in the entire castle. Her name would be forgotten, but she wasn't going to forget the name of this school.
All she did now was look to a window. The bags in her hand whitening the tops of her fingers. If only she could stay there if she wanted.

Footsteps could be heard shuffling down the third floor corridor as Seanna's eye's trailed the carpet, the girl was looking for nothing in particular and the reason why she was on the third floor was that she was making her way to the second floor to use the library.
Seanna had been using an empty classroom on the fourth floor, but the fourth floor was starting to get noisy and so Seanna had made the decision to go and study in the library once again. Walking along the corridor, Seanna's head bent down and looking at the carpet, Seanna didn't see Shay standing by a window before it was too late and Seanna had literally bumped into Shay.
"Oh!, I'm so sorry!" Seanna said, her eyes trailing up and seeing Shay for the first time, "Shay!" Seanna exclaimed, before realizing Shay probably didn't recognize who she was, considering Seanna had been away for awhile. "You probably don't remember me, but we meant in the forest that day" Seanna said, remembering meeting Shay in the snow that day.

The view of the window was something more than mesmerizing. What was more beautiful than a winter in Hogwarts was a spring in Hogwarts. She always took time to appreciate the temperate climate when the semitropical climate of Mexico and California tended to be mostly stuck in her mind.
But the bump was a well needed wake up call. Her eyes traveled to the person, and she indeed was surprised that this person even knew her name. So she wasn't entirely forgotten?
"That day in the snow..." There were very few times she spent a day in the forest in the snow compared to fall or spring days there. So it wasn't hard to locate the memory of a second or third year from then. "Oh my Merlin.... Seanna!"
Shay let go of her suitcases, but the instant memory of a spell kept them levitated. Her arms went wide open, ready for a hug. "Oh my good-- sweetheart, you've grown!" She remembered her face being much younger than it was now. Time left nothing but memories.

Seanna grinned at Shay and gave Shay a hug, "I hope I haven't grown too much though, I don't want to turn into a giant" Seanna joked, as she pulled out of the hug and notice for the first time that Shay had suitcases levitating on either side of her. "Are you going somewhere?" Seanna asked Shay, now remembering that Shay was older than herself and in the time where Seanna had been summoned back to Italy, Shay could've finished her schooling at Hogwarts.

"I'm going into Hogsmeade to find a permanent place to stay. Now that term is up, my time here is over." Her tone was bright and matter-of-fact, but the back of her mind seem to mutter, I'm going back into the real world.
"How about you? Are you heading down to the feast?" Shay kept staring at the Hufflepuff, more in wonder than anything else. It was odd to compare a girl was still beginning life in Hogwarts to the girl in front of her, who was already in the middle of her life there.

"You've finished school all ready?" Seanna asked Shay, thinking that she had missed on a lot when she was over in Italy, "Wow, I didn't know you could find places to stay in Hogsmeade, maybe I could come and visit you on break!" It was true, Seanna thought the only place you could stay at was the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley.
"Oh yeah. The feast, I 'spose I'll have to make my way down to the hall sooner or later" Seanna wasn't that excited about going to the end of year of feast, she had just gotten back and now she had to leave again to go back to Italy.

Shay nodded at Seanna's surprise. "I graduated two weeks ago in California. I guess I never properly said good bye to you." She tucked a tuft of hair behind her ear and further explained her other situaiton. "Yes, Hogsmeade is opening more and more for residents. But I'm only staying there for a while until I find a place in the UK. Maybe London. You can still visit me, though!" She smiled warmly at the girl.
Her smile dropped a little in worry at the lack of enthusiasm for the feast. She agreed they weren't always the most important or sometimes even fun, but a surprise was bound to come anytime soon. "Come now, Seanna," she replied, "We may be missing something exciting there."

"Yeah, I'll make it to the feast, but I've still got some time to get to the feast, so I think I'll stay here for a bit" Seanna said to Shay, giving the girl a small smile, "It was probably my fault that you didn't say good bye to me, I was kinda under guard" Seanna told Shay, it was true enough, the whole Marcellus family was under guard when Seanna was summoned back to Italy.
"I'll come and visit you while your in Hogsmeade, but I'll have to go back to Italy for a little while" Seanna said to Shay, as she leaned up against the wall.

"I'll hang around with you, then," Shay said in agreement. She couldn't tell if Seanna was avoiding the feast, or trying to hang around the castle a little more before break. Merlin knew that Shay wanted a circumstance like that, to hang around, have a break, and come back.
"Why were you under guard?" Shay was definitely surprised at what she said. She didn't know much about the girl, but she was sure she would have had she been around longer.

"Well, not me exactly, it was more like my whole family and my family's museum were under guard for awhile, that's why I wasn't around for awhile, I had to go back to Italy" Seanna shrugged, trying to forget about why she had to leave Hogwarts in the first place. "And I wanted to come back earlier, I just wasn't allowed to until three months ago" Seanna said to Shay, feeling still a bit mad at her parents for not letting her return to Hogwarts earlier.

Shay almost read Seanna's mind on the situation. "Aww, well that's not enough time to be here," she frowned, having a bit of understanding now why Seanna wasn't very cheery about it. "The good news is that you'll be back in no time. Then you'll be complaining about coming back to exams and heavy books," she chortled under her breath, thinking that it would be just the opposite for her in a matter of months. She'd want to pick beginner's Arithmancy over paperwork any time.

"Yeah, that's what I've been thinking. It's way too early to go home yet, when it seems I only got back" Seanna said wistfully, she was happy enough to go home and see if her parents were all right, she just wasn't happy about leaving Hogwarts so soon.
"Is it going to be really hard next year?" Seanna asked Shay, Seanna had heard rumors about the sixth and seventh year's being pretty hard and she didn't know if she'd be able to cope, she still had a lot of work to catch up on from her fifth year.

Shay bit her lip in thought. "I was a sixth year here for a little bit, and then I was in a Muggle school, then an American magic school... so I don't have the best experience to describe to you." She wished she had been a little bit stable in her education, but for a while she was convinced that she would never come back to the wizarding world.
"But for the sliver of time that I was here... it was fine. It matters what kind of classes you take, really. I think you can figure out that it's good to review as much as you can," she added, thinking that was probably universal advice, usually realized by older students.

"Oh, so you have to study a lot?" Seanna asked Shay, if Seanna had to study, she was sure she was going to fail. Seanna was never one to put study time in her extracurricular activity's and often left the studying to the last moment.
"I didn't know you had left, what was it like in a muggle school?" Seanna asked, her curiosity getting the better of her, maybe she should suggest to her Mom and Dad about putting muggle paintings and such in the museum.

"Essentially... you should study a lot. But the shortcut to that is that you try to know everything taught to you as you go along, and perfect it in that time frame. So that when you go off to study it for the NEWTs or just other exams, you don't have to put so much emphasis on it." Shay did seem to know a lot about studying, but she wasn't as good of a student in Hogwarts. She was doing better in Helena Rodriguez because she needed to catch up on the time she had missed out from being in a Muggle school.
When the thought came to being back in a Muggle school, she shrugged. "It wasn't like I remembered. People had their own people like we might have it here, but really it--" She emitted a laugh at the apparent truth. "-- it's not as fun without the magic. But the Muggles are pretty nice people, they seem to work hard because they don't have our abilities."
