"We were just trying to help her," Drew answered with a frown, letting himself get pushed away by Ivy. He wasn't sure how she had managed to see it all, much less how she could have thought the boys were at fault, considering all three of them had been sitting down when Ash fell, but still, he had discovered that Ivy wasn't one to mess with.

Pat let himself be pushed, although he was careful not to trip over one on the desks behind him and trip; he was glad he had left his still half-full cup of hot chocolate on the table. He was a bit stunned by Ivy's sudden appearance, as well as the words spouting from her mouth. If Pat had been an anime character, this would be an appropriate moment for a sweatdrop to appear on his head. However, he wasn't, so he sufficed with letting his mouth hang slightly open.
Pat agreed with Drew; they and Jack had only been attempting to help Ash. Perhaps she had gotten into more soda or coffee than was good for her. Everyone had caffeine limits after all. "Uhh, Ivy? Don't squeeze Ash to death, please," the prefect said. He knew all about the seventh-year's grip when it came to hugging (being a victim himself), and if she wasn't careful, she would crush her Raven sister's bones. Okay, maybe not that bad... but to that effect.

Jack was a little taken aback by Solis awarding points to Drew, but hey at least it was points for Ravenclaw and thats all that mattered. He just smiled and shrugged a little when Drew looked at him indicating his feelings on the matter still trying to help Ash up.
With the sudden appearance of Ivy Jack backed up along with Drew and Pat. What had gotten into the girl and where on earth had she come from? "Ya we were just attempting to help Ash up thats all," Jack said with a stunned look on his face.

Verina's eyes had widened as Ash who she'd met at the beginning of break had tripped. Feeling sympathy for her since it'd happened to her on more than one occasion she had moved forward to help to find that Drew and Pat had also gone over to help. Deciding to let the boys help her she remained a short distance behind them worry upon her face.
She frowned slightly as their professor only awarded points to Drew and not Jack not that she wanted Ravenclaw to get more points but still that wasn't right. But she didn't really worry herself about that since she was really worried about Ash and hoped she was okay.
Her mouth dropped slightly as an older girl who apparantly was Ash's sister came storming up to the guys and began yelling at them and pushing them away. She wasn't sure what her problem was since they'd only been trying to help and check she was okay.

Ash looked around at herself, surprised at how many people were around her... Eh- that was extremely embarrassing. She stared at her brand new robes at she had gotten with some of her Christmas money and felt her heart sink a little- perhaps she could use that potion that had learned about in Professor Jamboreema's class.
The fourth year forced a smile to her face as she began to pick her soaked book up although... there it was. Ash stopped breathing to hear. Could it be? 0.0; It was- no, no, no! What is that hideous thing? It's coming right at me! She swallowed and felt her legs and arms turn into jello.
She could hardly fight back- unlike usual- when Ivy squeezed her arms around the poor Raven. Her face turned a bright red tone as this happened. She looked at the others, her eyes pleading for help. Pat! I thought you were a gentleman!
At this comment, she found the nerve to push her sister away in an embarrassed rage. " Why are you so..." she couldn't really find the right word, " perverted? Pat would never do such a thing!" Ash huffed, still kneeling on the ground with her Astronomy and History of Magic textbooks, their pages water damaged.

Lauren found herself amused, strolling down to the Groundskeeper's Hut. First off, it was nice to get out in the daylight for Astronomy, but Ivy was there. Ivy = craziness. What on earth was she seeing, and though she was far away, she heard bits and pieces. Selectively, she heard 'why are you so perverted?' A sly grin crossed Lauren's face.
"You okay, Ash?"

As aloof as ever (thanks to several meltdowns), Charlie crawled to the place where the bountiful streams and falls of hot chocolate was. "Chocolate... my one and only friend." She cupped a cup in her hands. I think she lost it...

"Ms. Xin, a detention for interrupting my class,” Solis said, serving her students more hot chocolate. “You will be serving it alongside your companion, Reina. Now shoo!” she led Ivy away and banished her with a castle with the whish of her wand. “Please, Ms. Jones, have more chocolate,” she offered the Slytherin.

Noah walked to the Groundkeeper's Hut and pushed Lauren roughly. Ash seemed to have a small crowd gathered around her, and he wanted to surprise his favorite Slytherin. "Get out of my way, Stone!" he joked. Solis was being crazy again, but... "Ooh, hot chocolate, Stone-- go get me some,"
He liked to pick on Lauren. There was something that was just so adorable about her when she got angry. It was one of her best traits. He expected her to hit him or something. Aye, fiesty red-heads. "What's going on? Did Ash fall again?" he muttered under his breath.

The class was getting wierder and wierder by the minute and it hadn't even officially started yet. First Solis pretending to be all nice, then Ivy creating a scene and now Noah being a jerk? That just didn't sound like Tuesday to him.
Either that or Noah hadn't graduated from fourth grade flirting into the big leagues yet.
"Dude, you been hanging around Reina lately?" he asked.

Ash scrunched her face up at Noah and wondered the same thing as Drew, what was Noah's problem? He seemed to have changed a little over break- aih? The usual Tuesday wasn't this... erm... mean? No, no that wasn't the right word for it. Ash stood up, taking her books with her and thanked the people who had helped.
Now for that potion...

Ooooooo-kay... that was strange... That was what pretty much summed up Pat's thoughts at the moment. First Ivy came out of nowhere, spouting what was pretty much nonsense, then Solis banished her from the hut, giving her detention in the process (thankfully not taking away points), then Lauren and Noah come along, bringing their own little show with them, while Charlie continued to be in meltdown-stupor mode. A lot happening in a short amount of time, most of it weird. Maybe I should just sit down and wait for class to start... Pat thought. After saying a "you're welcome" in response to Ash's thanks, Pat retook his seat, taking a fresh sip from his hot chocolate. It seemed as though they had reached the weirdness quota for the day within 5 minutes, so hopefully the rest of the day wouldn't reach quite the same level. Was that even possible?

Lauren stumbled forward by a force that wasn't gravity. She caught herself instead of falling over. She should have fallen over, and been all dramatic. It would only give her the right to get mad at the person no -- idiot who had the slightest thought that it might be fun to be clumsy and plow into Lauren. But she caught herself, so it was much too late to fall over now.
Get out of his way? He must be joking. Who one earth did he think he was ordering her about? That wasn't very Noah of him. Lauren shook it off, going to ignore him, since attention was most likely what he was aiming for. OH, no way. Get him hot chocolate? Lauren wasn't even going to get her own hot chocolate, and she was definitely not going to get him anyway. How rude. Sarcasm or not, Lauren didn't like it.
Lauren snatched her wand, but refrained herself. Instead she pushed him away from her. In frustration, she, what seemed to be, growled at him. She held her wand threateningly, but only flipped her hair around and turned away from him.

(aye, it's because I'm reading too much James Potter... I'm also getting tons of my characters messed up. Ah well.)
It was as if the dead spirit of James Potter was channeled into Noah's body. Immediately after Lauren ignored him, Noah felt terrible and ashamed. He wished that she'd hit him or at least tell him off. No. Noah received... the silent treatment. She looked like she was going to curse him, but she didn't.
Honestly, Noah had never felt so bad. Did he hurt her feelings? He tapped her on the shoulder and in a very sincere and soft voice he apologized. "Stone... I'm- I'm sorry... I was being a complete jerk."
He couldn't stand Lauren being mad at him. Noah felt bad-- what did she ever do to him? It wasn't like Noah was a wuss, he just valued their friendship and couldn't stand that he was the source of her annoyance. Perhaps it's best to just leave her alone...

After the commotion was over and Solis had chucked Ivy out of the classroom. Jack made his way back over to where Verina was waiting for the class to begin. He already thought this class was getting off to an amusing start. First Ash had fell, which wasn't so funny, but then Ivy, who wasn't even in the class, had come to her rescue and then gotten thrown out of the class. Then Noah came in and started demanding things. Yes this was going to be quite the interesting class.
