Lach nodded as Matty replied to what he had said. It was true really. What Matty said. You truly couldn't have a party without guests, especially a party like this. Across the room, a chorus of party poppers erupted, with a few whoops and cheers to follow. Grinning Lach let out a small laugh at what the girl had said. "Oh shucks Matty, you don't mean that" Then Lach realised that Matty hadn't just been talking to him but also a boy standing on the opposite side of her. "Hey, I guess your the other half of what made this all possible" Lach joked, referred to what Matty had commented on, saying they had made it all happen. He was pretty sure the boy's name was Drew but he couldn't be sure.
Lach looked up, his attention drawn from the boy as Tianne made her way over to the small group. Lach laughed as Tianne told Matty she had to go and get changed. Personally, Lach thought she looked amazing just the way she was. A look of mock surprise spread across Lachlan's face when Tianne quickly asked what was in the present. "I can't believe you'd ask that Tianne, you don't even want to open it" Lach paused only for a second before continuing "I'll give you one guess"

Guy shrugged his shoulders as Tianne addressed him. " Figured a change of scene might be nice. " He answered honestly with a small smile to the girl. He shrugged slightly as he walked off and grabbed a drink for himself, popped off the cab and drank deeply from the can of soda. He and Drew were the oldest ones there, and hanging out with his younger friends always made Guy think that soon, he would no longer be attending the school at all. He made his way back over to the small group, his soda still in hand as he heard Tianne mention something about having to change for her party.
Maybe it was a girl thing to need to change so much, but Guy thought she looked fine. He shrugged his shoulders slightly, not making the connection that Tianne was probably referring to changing into something to swim in. He just figured it was one of those things he would never understand.
So far, the party was pretty good. Decent turn out, he couldn't complain too much.
