October 23rd Matty Wentworth's Birthday
Tianne knew that this day was going to be good. Well, she wasn't sure, but boy, was she hoping. She had told Seth and Ryan to meet her on the seventh floor at about 12:00am, and arranged to meet Matty on the third floor at 12:30am, so they wouldn't have long to set everything up. Sure, it was risky, planning this party, but hopefully Matty knew nothing about it. She wouldn't, of course, unless one of the trusted two told her. Tianne didn't think that that was going to happen, but you can never knew what wo teenage boys are capable of. Tianne knew that, ever since she started going out with Seth. The young girl was hoping that this day was going to be fantastic, after all, it was the hufflepuffs fifteenth birthday. Although Tianne had promised the girl that she was not going to do anything, but sometimes, you have to lie to get ahead in the game. The ravenclaw dressed herself in nice clothing, hoping that Matty was going to do the same. She wore light blue skinny jeans, and a green top that loosely hung on her torso. Exiting the common room, Tianne made her way to the room of requirement. Noticing that Seth and Ryan weren't there yet, ("Damn boys, you can't trust them to do anything...") Tianne paced up and down the corridor. I need a room for a party, I need a room for a party, I need a room for a party, she thought repeditively, until a door appeared on the left side of the corridor. Tianne grinned and opened the door. Inside, was a particularly large room, decorated with balloons and tables full of sweets and snacks. "Yes!" She said aloud, just as the door opened and two boys entered. "You finally made it." She said, spinning around, and hanging her arms around the darker haired boy. Kissing him on the cheek, Tianne let go of him, and, picking up a sign saying "Party >> Thatta way!" and headed for the door. "You guys stay here." She said, a cute smile towards Seth. "Ryan, no eating!" She giggled. Tianne exited, placing the sign outside the door. She wanted people to come to the party, and there was no way she could do that without advertising, right? Practically running to get to the third floor in time, Tianne grinned at the girl already standing there. "Let's go for a walk?" She giggled, pointing up in the direction she just came from. Matty was 15. Finally. Although she was the second shortest in her group, the girl was pretty much the baby of her friends, in the sense of age. Although, she did have to admit, the girl was pretty mature, compared to other Fifth years she knew. But today had finally come. She wasn't the only one that wasn't 15 yet anymore. It felt good to be able to let go all the stupid things she had done as a 14-year-old, and make a fresh start with this date. Sure, it was corny, but Matty felt it was kind of appropriate. However, the Hufflepuff wasn't one of those 'birthday bash' chicks. She knew that next year, she planned on having a big party, but considering the girl didn't have much time to plan a party, she made it clear none of the sort was to be made.
Too bad for Matty, he friends didn't stick to this promise.
The girl was oblivious to the fact that Tianne, her best friend again, was throwing a party. All she knew was that Matty was meeting the girl on the Third floor to hang out for a bit, which probably meant skateboarding down the corridor, as they had done before. The girl enjoyed these kind of things. So, at 12, the teenager got ready. Matty wanted to look nice, but casual at the same time. There was no point in dressing up for a get-together. The girl straightened her hair, by way of magic, and left it out. She then dressed in a pair of denim skinny jeans, red slip on shoes, a white singlet and a cream woolen cardigan. Casual, but nice. The girl then grabbed her wand, for the heck of it, and excited the Common Room. The girl was looking forward to seeing her mates, and hopefully meeting up with another friend tonight, although she wasn't sure how her latter plans would turn out.
After climbing the stair cases needed, Matty finally reached the Third floor. She walked down the specific hallway, and leaned against the wall. After a few moments, she spotted Tianne practically running to wards her. That rang the odd bell. All the same, Matty grinned, and nodded her head. "Sure, as long as you don't plan making me run up four floors." the girl teased, happy to see her best mate again. The girl walked with Tianne, as they started to their destination. Matty, however, was still completely oblivious to what the Eagle, Snake and Lion had up their sleeves.

Ryan groaned. Yeah, they were having a party, but yeah, he had to get up. Of course, the boy had had a particularly late night, and was still wanting to sleep when his alarm clock went off. Hitting it, so it fell off onto the floor, and consequently broke, Ryan rolled over, and drifted off back to sleep. Finally waking up when he was ready to, Ryan glanced at the broken clock on the ground. "Aw, damnit!" He said, picking it up and examining it, as if to see whether or not it was fixable. Yeah, it was fixable, but Ryan didn't know how to, until it hit him, he was magic.
Flicking his wand and saying reparo caused the clock to jump back together, and Ryan smiled at his work. Then, after taking the time to look at what time it was, the boy jumped up, causing the clock to break once more, as it smashed against the floorboards. "Crap. Reparo." He groaned, pulling on a pair of denim jeans and a light blue and white t-shirt that he had laid out the night before. The boy slipped his shoes on and ran out the common room, and down to the fifth floor where he was going to meet Seth, so he could arrive with the boy.
Waiting on the lounges, Ryan smiled at his friend. "Ready to go?" He grinned, standing up from the warm, comfortable chair. The boy and his mate walked up the stairs, until they came to the room of requirement, with Tianne already inside. "Ta-da!" He joked, as the girl gave the boy a hug and kiss. "I don't think I'll be able to eat, after that disgusting display." He grinned as Tianne left. Walking over to the snacktable, Ryan picked up a few chips and a lolly. Popping them into his mouth, he grinned at Seth, "Okay, I lied."

Tianne was really excited. She pulled on Matty's hand, forcing her to come up the stairs. The girl probably thought that they were going skateboarding again, but after last time, with the injuries Tianne scored and the overwhelming embarrassment her dignity went through, she wasn't prepared to do that, not at all. Besides, with the Room of Requirement right at hand, there wasn't a limit to how much fun they could have. Remembering the time when Tianne found a swimming pool in the room gave her many ideas. She planned, once they were done with the contents of their room they could leave, and try to access a swimming pool. Yeah, it may not work, but it was worth a try. If it didn't work, and they couldn't go back to their previous room, there was always the kitchens, and Tianne had a six pack of butterbeer and a bag of chocolates and lollies under her bed.
Tianne was pretending to forget that it was the Hufflepuff's birthday, even though she had her present wrapped up in the room on the seventh floor. Hopefully Ryan and Seth hadn't done anything stupid, as Tianne really didn't feel like getting her wand out and hexing the boys, but of course, she would if she really had to. "Come on Matt. How long does it take to walk up stairs?" She joked with the girl. Tianne was really anxious to hear what Miss Wentworth had to say about the party, but naturally, she hoped it was good.

(open, right? ) He was on the run. Well, not really. At first Connor hadn't noticed his new company. Until it started hissing at him. The cat was like a giant orange puff ball. Fluffy beyond belief, and extremely irritable. The sixth year didn't know what he had done to upset the cat. He had been on his way inside from a short walk around the grounds when the cat began to follow him. He was sure it belonged to someone from the way it held a blue collar around its neck. He supposed that if he were to look there would be a name tag on the collar, but there was no way the cat was letting him get close enough to check. First he had tried telling the cat to go away. Nicely, of course. After that didn't work, he had made his way down to the kitchens and tried to feed it. Maybe it was just hungry? That was also a no, and Connor couldn't think of anything to do. He made his way up the stairs, occassionally glancing back every few seconds to see the cat following several feet behind. On and on it went, the cat following Connor, the Slytherin having to listen to the low grumble of a cat growl all the way up the stairs. Finally he decided that he had had enough, and as he walked up onto the seventh floor, he turned around and hissed at the cat. A terrible, ugly hissing noise escaped the boy as he tried to scare the cat away. Of course, this didn't work either, and it only prompted the cat to get more angry with Connor. He dodged behind a suit of armor and tried to see if the cat would lose sight of him, but of course it didn't. Finally, Connor just picked a random door and slunk inside, unnoticed by the cat. A light smirk mades its way onto the Slytherin's face. How stupid was he for feeling proud of outwitting an animal? Very. Connor didn't care, the cat was a menace. Turning to see what room he had randomly gone into, he spotted two younger guys lounging around. " Oh.. having a party? " He asked, bewildered at the sight before him. Oops.

Seth had made a somewhat reasonable effort to help out with the party. Meaning, he hadn't gotten in the way, or objected to any plans, or ditched the idea all together. And why would he? It was Matty's birthday, a friend he considered to be both important and good. She was a good kid. The boy had offered, of course, to help out with any labor work, but his girlfriend had politely declined them. And so, everything was set. The room was organized, the meeting places were decided, and Seth had even gotten his mate a cool present, in his opinion, anyway. The Slytherin had met his 'best buddy' on fifth floor, where Ryan was waiting on a lounge. Seth had dressed in such a way that he was easily recognizable, comfortable, but nice. The teenager wore black slacks, and a purple tee-shirt with 'Ripcurl' printed o the front in running writing. He managed to look a little older than he was, as usual, due to both his height and appearance.
"Lets roll," the boy had replied, before trekking up to the Seventh Floor to meet his Ravenclaw Girlfriend, and in a while, his Badger friend. When Tee kissed him on the cheek, Seth grinned, and gave her hand a small squeeze. Merlin, he loved her. When she left to go get Matty, Seth rolled his eyes sarcastically at Ryan. "She never said I couldn't eat, either." he added with a smirk. The boy picked up a couple of jellybeans, and dropped them into his mouth. Seth was just about to ask if Ryan had gotten Matty anything (his present was safely hidden in the pocket of his slacks), when suddenly a boy stumbled into the room. Were they... expecting anyone? He guessed so. In fact, the Snake recognized the older guy as Conner, his house prefect. "Oh, hi Conner. Ha, yeah, we're throwing a surprise party for Matty Wentworth." he said, standing up from the bean bag he had been sitting in, and shoving his hands into his pockets. "You know 'er?" Seth then asked. He didn't mind if there was another one to join - the more the merrier!

Tianne grinned at her companion, leading her up the stairs. It was good to be back being friends with the girl, as they had gone through a bit of a rough patch, but then, what friends didn't? The young girl held Matty's hand, pulling her up to the seventh floor, where their party awaited them. She wasn't sure how she was going to keep it a secret, but there were somethings that just worked, and Tianne had a feeling that this was going to be one of them. The raven grinned, hoping that Matty had no idea of what was happening, although she'd want Matty to think that they were good friends, by organising something for them to do for her birthday. How could the lion, the eagle and the snake just not do anything for her fifteenth birthday, it would almost be cruel to deprive her of celebrating.
Tianne grinned at Matty once again, as they reached the seventh floor. Tianne had gone up the stairs quite quickly, as she was anxious to see what Matty Wentworth thought of her their party, but she was trying to make it so that the hufflepuff had absolutely no idea what was planned. Surprise parties were always better when that was exactly what was going to happen. Surprise. Tianne was excited for the girl, even though she never really go the opportunity to have a party herself. Her birthday wasn't in the school term, but it was still cool. Spotting the sign that she had put oiut before, Tianne pretended to act surprised. "Hmm... A Party? Wanna go see?" She tempted Matty.

Connor looked back and forth between the two younger guys and all of the decorations. Someone was obviously having a party, and as Collins mentioned that it was for Matty, Connor brightened slightly. " Yeah, I know her. " He said with a small grin appearing on his features. He felt a little bad for not knowing it was the girl's birthday. It wasn't as if they were all that close, but Connor always liked to know people's birthdays. If anything, he just liked saying Happy Birthday to them on that day.
In Connor's mind, birthdays were the greatest. A day in celebration of someone's existance, what could be more fun than that? Connor spotted the food table and decided maybe he should stay. For Matty, of course.
" Eh, mind if I stick around mate? " He asked, indicating the room. He would leave if it was a private shindig, but what could one more person do? Only add to the fun. If anything, the older Slytherin wanted to stick around so that he could wish Matty a Happy Birthday.
