Finn's eyes slowly started to close as Keagan spoke, and ironically enough, said "close your eyes". His eyes clicked shut and he did nothing to fight them open again. He knew it would have been useless. He flinched slightly as Keag stroked his ear. It was a little ticklish, but mostly it just felt nice. Finn "mmm"ed softly and moved his head a little, getting more comfortable.

Keagan sighed softly as she looked down at Finn's face and saw his eyes drift shut; it seemed she'd worn the pour boy out. The Gryffindor bit back a girlish giggle at the thought, but found that the result was a snort instead.
'How attractive,' she thought, feeling her cheeks tinge with color, though she somehow doubted Finn had even noticed. Her curious fingers had left his ear now, and were now slowly drifting over the Ravenclaw's features. First, they trailed over one eyebrow and down his cheekbone, then her hand lifted to trail one lazy finger down his nose. As long as she was trapped underneath his sleeping head, she might as well explore a bit.

Finn could feel Keagan's light touch on his face, but he was too tired to even care. It felt nice too, so he wouldn't have complained even if he was fully functional. A quiet, involuntary groan escaped Finn's lips, and he adjusted himself slightly again.
Feeling her finger stroking down his nose, Finn wrinkled it slightly as it tickled. He slowly started to drift off into a deeper sleep, and couldn't feel her fingers on his face anymore. he moved his head again, getting comfortable and resting his hand on her leg beside his head.

Keagan smiled as she watched Finn's nose wrinkle following her touch; she couldn't help but think that he looked completely adorable like that. She jumped slightly, however, as she felt Finn's hand rest on her leg next to where his head sat. Her cheeks blushed furiously, but she hoped that Finn wouldn't be too disturbed by her movements. Waiting anxiously to see what happened, she sat perfectly still and bit her bottom lip, watching his face for any sign of awakening.

But there wasn't any awakening. Finn was too far gone. His mind was drifting off to strange things that one only sees in a dream. He wouldn't recall any of it when he woke up, but it was amusing enough right now.

He hadn't moved, not one bit, and it amazed the Gryffindor; he really was far away in LaLa Land. Keagan reckoned that, if she had wanted to, she would even be able to weasel her way out from under him and leave him to sleep in peace. But could she let herself? Not quite yet.
She did free her trapped hand from his, though, and brought it to rest above the one he had moved to her leg. Slowly, she flipped his hand over and studied the palm. Being fascinated by Divination, she had studied it until Hogwarts had lost its instructor, and what Finn's palm told her made her smile.

Completely unaware that Keagan was doing something to his hand, Finn shifted again, groaning in the process. "Mmm..Keag," he grumbled. There he was again, talking in his sleep. However, he was quite asleep, and oblivious to the fact that he'd just spoken again.
Finn nuzzled his head against Keag's leg again, and the hand she held twirled itself around again to hold hers.

Keagan felt her cheeks flush yet another time when she heard Finn utter her name. She was sure that her blushing, which probably extended to her shoulders after so much of it, was the only thing keeping her warm now, for the room was still a bit chilly, and her shoulders were still bare. But she wondered...
For what possible reason would he speak her name in sleep other than from in a dream? And if it was a dream, why was she in this dream? She hoped it wasn't another dream where she would be engulfed.
She gazed off at the far wall as she pondered this, rubbing her thumb against his palm, until she felt Finn's head rub against her leg. The feeling startled her, and looking down at him, she wondered if the Ravenclaw was awakening. But he wasn't awake, even though he had now shifted the hand she held so that it now held her hand.
The Gryffindor smirked, gazing down at Finn. She was amused that he would want to hold her hand even in sleep, and an apparently deep sleep, at that, if he was dreaming.
Though she wasn't feeling "lonely," per se, Keagan recognized easily in the silence that she was all but alone, and that left her without many options for activity. Sighing, she went back to doing the thing that was keeping her entertained at first - tracing Finn's features with her fingertips. With her free hand, Keag traced one tip gently along Finn's jawline, now, and then down the side of his neck, subconsciously watching him for any reaction whatsoever.

Finn could tell Keagan was watching him. He was pretty far gone, but he could still feel her eyes. Without opening his, Finn muttered to her. "Stop staring at me while I'm asleep," he told her, his mouth twitching ad he tried to keep the grin away, "Find something productive to do."
With that, Finn snuggled himself in more, stroking Keag's hand lightly before drifting back to sleep.

Hearing Finn's voice served to startle the living daylights out of Keagan. "I wasn't staring," she muttered indignantly, though her entire face and chest were now most certainly bright red. She cast her eyes to the side and pulled her free hand away from his face as she tried to think of what "something productive" meant.

"Sure you...w...weren't," Finn muttered trying to stay awake for another moment and get his words out. He manged, but soon after was conked right out again. His head inched a little closer to Keag's body and his knees came up slightly, so his feet weren't dangling off the edge of the bed.
Suddenly, that same dream started again, the one he'd had earlier. He went on very much the same way, with Keag standing in front of him, but then the shadow came and Finn jolted awake.

And just like that, Finn was "gone" again. Keagan chanced a glance at him, with her eyebrow raised as she tried to figure out just what had woken him...and how had he known she was looking at him? The thought was disconcerting, and her blush was stubbornly hanging on, though she wished desperately that it would go away so Finn didn't wake up randomly again and see.
And it was just the Gryffindor's luck that "wake up" is just what the Ravenclaw did, but only after snuggling his head in more an inching closer to her figure - a part of her wondered if all the snuggling was more than just a mere, unconscious action. In fact, Finn was quite awake and Keagan looked at him with a look of concern, though if she could see herself, the Lioness would probably think she looked pretty silly, all concerned and lobster-like.

Finn panted slightly in a bit of a panic again. He knew Keagan was fine, and that it had just been a dream but still, he panicked. Looking up at Keag, Finn knew his eyes were doing a terrible job of hiding his concern.
"I just had that...dream....nightmare...again," Finn told her quietly, sitting up and moving away from Keag. He kept his head down as he spoke and his voice low, although there wasn't anyone else to hear him anyways.

"Again?" Repeat nightmares seemed to Keagan like they should be a rare thing, unless they regarded something that was truly disturbing to the dreamer. Thus, Finn's repeat nightmare was of concern to Keagan, for different reasons than it was of concern to Finn, of course.
She wondered now how the Eagle boy would be able to sleep without her there. Would it be better? Or could it possibly be worse? She had never been too good at dream analysis.

Finn kept his back to Keagan, feeling his face flush violently. His hands started to fidget as he tried to find the words to say right now, but nothing came to him. The Eagle just sighed and kept his head down, scratching the back of it nervously.
