Lily was incredibly bored. That's why, bag under her head, she was laying on the floor of a hallway. She was staring at the wall. Of all things to do she was counting the stones in the wall. Every so often she would turn a bit so she could count them all. She had gone and put a small sticker on the row that she had started. It wasn't very big, but it was bright pink. Two hundred and thirty five. Two hundred and thirty six. Two hundred and . . .

Matty was full of energy, yet bord out of her mind. She strolled up to the towers, expecting to be all on her own. Instead finding another student up sitting up on a wall. She did not recognise her at first, but then rememberd her as a Ravenclaw chaser. "Hi" she mummbled walking over to a window and gazing out at the lake. Yet she did not sit down anywhere, just incase the girl gave her a hint that she wanted to be alone.

Thirty seven. Lily was startled by anoter presence in the room. "Oh hi," she muttered, trying not to loose count. Two hundred and . . .and . . .and "Dang it!" She exclaimed. "Now I'm going to have to start all over." She looked at the girl. She came to the sudden realization the girl might find it her fault. "It's not your fault." She was quick to mutter. "Someone would have disrupted my count eventually."

Matty watched as the girl seemed to be counting something on the wall. Then moving out of the windows frame, she got a slight fright when the girl exclaimed Dang it! . She was just about to ask what was wrong, but she had now noticed that the girl had been intent on something along the wall. As she was just about to apologise, she heard her say It's not your fault." then "Someone would have disrupted my count eventually." . "Sorry, it just happened to be me who did it though." she said with a small smile creeing along her face. "So what were you counting?" Matty asked.
