Mike sat up in the top of the northern tower looking down into his hands, a badge, a prefect badge none the less. If the smile on his face wasn't a dead give away at how pleased he was the fact that he just wanted to jump around and go crazy was another. But instead he burst into a song, one that he had heard during his break and was quite fond of.
"Her eyes are open like a book Her fingers stroke her hair to look A moment feels so out of place This will left standing in disgrace Paint your fingernails at night Style you hair in the bathroom light Hatred never looked this good Whoever thought it could
I don't wanna wait or leave it up to fate 'cause I just wanna watch you all night Screaming Andie, you goonie Don't you wake me up, I don't want this dream to... Andie, you goonie Don't you wake me up, I don't want this dream to... End............"

It was back. The bugger that called to her heart was in the castle, the grey little spunky animal was elusive, oh yes, but perhaps Felicity would be able to outsmart it this time. Through the towers, the squirrel moved swiftly, evading Felicity's hands everytime she reached for it. It had been within her grasp so many times before, the first time leading her to a damsal in distress kind of need in the tree. She hadn't been too happy about that, but it wouldn't happen again.
Quietly, she crept, the bushy tail within a fingers length away. Suddenly its ears pricked and it took off, it had once more gotten away. But this time, it wasn't because of Felicity, there was another who chased off her soon to be captive. And Felicity was not in the least bit appy about it. Turning on her heel, following the voice that scared away her animal, she stormed into the north tower to give the person a piece of her mind. Though it wouldn't have mattered very much as the person wouldn't know what they had really done to the young blond.
Her cheeks paler than pale from being angry with the singer, she marched into the vicinity and began to shout. "You had better stop that racket or I'll turn into a toad and keep you in a cage!" No, the brown eyed beauty wasn't pleased.

"......One kiss those lips could never lie But I know something isn't right Don't be fooled my friends aside 'cause I see nothing in those eyes All said and done This won't be fun Make no mistake Those smiles are fake
Don't wanna wait or leave it up to fate 'cause I just wanna watch you all night Screaming Andie, you goonie Don't you wake me up, I don't want this dream to... Andie, you goonie, Don't you wake me up, I don't want this dream to... End
But believe me, I know it will always be moving I know we could find a key
Andie, you goonie Don't you wake me up, I don't want this dream to... Andie, you goonie Don't you wake me up, I don't want this dream to...
All the times that we suffered this before Never once did you ever close that door All the make up cannot hide the fact That you're gone and you're never coming back."
Mike finished the song and his eyes shot up as he heard the familiar voice, but this voice had a rather angry tone about it, if the threat hadn't been enough of an idea. He then smiled as his eyes met Felicity's. "Now, would you really want to do that to me?" He asked her with the smile not wavering.

"Don't think I wouldn't do it!" she again yelled at the singer, not registering the voice as she hadn't bothered with looking at the person either. "I have been after that rascal for days now, and he will be mine. The next time someone gets in my way, they're going to pay!" Slightly out of breath, Felicity took a moment to breathe before her eyes landed on the singer, huffle, friend, Michael. It didn't matter who it was at the moment, she wasn't happy.
"You scared him off and I've been tracking him for the better part of the last few hours Rolen," she exclaimed with emphasis on his last name. She sounded a bit crazy, but then again all her hard work hadn't paid off. Her hair was a mess, falling out of the bun she'd thrown it up in that very morning, her clothing was full of dust and cobwebs, and she hadn't even gotten anything from it except a few close calls. One involving her almost falling down the stairs. "Don't you just sit up there and smile at me like that."

"If he wanted to be caught, don't you think he would of let you catch him?", Mike asked her with the smile still on his lips, she looked like quite the mess, cobwebs and dust littering her clothing and her hair a mess. No wonder the squirrel had run away.
"Maybe you should go clean yourself up before lunch", he then said to her, looking her up and down and he moved his hand slightly which made his badge collect the light and send it towards Felicity.

"That is not the point," Felicity replied angrily. What animal really wanted to be caught anyway? Hadn't so many already been forced into a domestic life, why not a squirrel? The grin was still plastered to his face, and it just angered her more. Did she not just tell him to pretty much get rid of it? The boy was going to be one of the deaths of her one day, she could feel it. Then he suggested she cleaned herself up? What was running through his head that day?
"Since when do you tell me to clean up?" she asked, obviously still angry, though more agitated than anything. It was not as though she cared what she looked like, after all she wasn't trying to catch anyone's eye, so why should he care how she looked. And who said she was getting lunch? There was to be no food that afternoon, at least not unless she caught her friend first. "And you stop shining that blasted piece of medal in my eyes."

"Piece of medal you say.....more like a badge", he said lobbing it carefully over to Felicity so she could have a closer look at it, it would explain his smile. "Well you do look ruggedly handsome like that I must say", he said with a playful look in his eyes as he smiled at his friend.
And who knows, maybe he would offer to help her catch the squirrel that she desired so much.

"Whatever it is..." she trailed off as he tossed it to her. Catching it with easy grace, she looked down at it, ready to throw it aside. At least until everything registered. The smile, metal, badge. Looking up at the huffle, her jaw dropped slightly, ignoring the comment he made about how she looked. "You," she stuttered slightly. "This?" she asked pointing at it. "How?"
Complete sentences were obviously no longer a part of her vocabulary or structure. He eyes were narrowed slightly, maybe it wasn't what it seemed. But then again, he wasn't even the tiniest bit flustered at her words. Clamoring up to where Michael was, she kneeled in front of him and looked directly into his eyes. Perhaps he was someone who couldn't lie when a person looked directly at them? "Are you serious?" It wasn't that she was anything less than ecstatic for her friend, but he hadn't mentioned any word of it before either.

Mike smiled and nodded "Of course i'm serious, I just got out of the meeting with my head of house" He said looking into her eyes, his heart beat quickening for some reason and he didn't know why, so he decided to ignore it.
He had noticed she had ignored his comment on how she looked, but that didn't phase him much, although he would of loved to hear her response to it.

"Ahh!" she squealed as she practically jumped at Michael to hug him. She'd noticed the twinge of disappointment from before about not having made Head Boy, but this was the next best thing after all. "Congratulations," she nearly yelled in his ear as she threw her arms around his neck. "I'm so happy for you," she added in his ear before she pulled back away from him.
In all truth, she thought he deserved something like that. Not just because he was her friend, but because he just deserved it. Smiling from ear to ear, she forgave his comment about how she looked, though she wouldn't have been surprised if he'd made another one about getting him covered in the grime she herself wore.

"Thanks", Michael replied happily and looked down as she pulled away, he tried to refrain from making a comment but couldn't help himself, "Well now that we are a matching pair, lets go see if we can catch you that squirrel". Yes, lately he had been putting his friends in front of himself with great results and hey, prefects have gotta have some fun sooner or later.....don't they?

"Psh," she replied. A matching pair? Hadn't she been the one who'd spent hours tracking? Besides she'd barely gotten anything on him with her hug. Laughingly, she pushed his shoulder slightly. "We are not anywhere near a matching pair Michael Rolen. This," she stated, pointing directly at herself. "This is a work of art. You, sonny, are only a stick figure still in the making."
Of course, she was joking with her friend, but she had been the one to run around all morning chasing the furry fiend while he done...well whatever it was he'd done. "But, I won't turn down your offer," she grinned over at her friend a bit sheepishly. After all, it was a squirrel he'd be helping her to catch if they could even spot the critter. Getting up to return to her mission, she turned quickly, maybe a little too quickly in he rbounding excitement. Felicity went crashing to the floor beneath her feet yet again.

Michael had been laughing well before Felicity had fallen over out of sheer excitement but the minute she fell he stopped laughing and made his way quickly over to his friend, just in case she had hurt herself, "You ok Felicity?" he asked offering her a hand to help her up to her feet. She seemed very excited of the prospect of catching this squirrel and now that there were two of them the task would seem easier.

Looking up at him from the floor, she was more frustrated than anything. It didn't seem like she could do anything without being clumsy as well. Taking his offered hand she pulled herself up with little effort. She was far to used to this for her liking. "I'm fine," she replied to his inquiry.
Perhaps she shouldn't look for the fiend that had stolen her heart? She'd already almost fell down the stairs at one point, perhaps she should just wait for another time as it seemed her falling would most likely continue that day. Felicity nearly toppled over poor Michael when she was finally standing, not without his help of course. Maybe she should work on getting herself up from the floor alone, it wasn't really nice to be standing on top of people after they tried to help one. "Sorry," she mumbled.

"Woh", Michael exclaimed as Felicity had continued her forwards movement until he caught her in his arms, not that he was paying much attention to that. "You sure you're ok?", he asked her again, still not noticing that his hands were on her waist.
But the moment he did he let go and looked down at the ground, "Sorry", he said in a mumble
