Early February 6:23pm
There were but whispers exchanged between the two as she entered the quarters, shutting the door behind her so that it latched, but never fully, leaving it stationary for any wandering and naïve souls who passed entrance. He beckoned her forth, wanting nothing more but to hold her and look her over, after she had been admitted to the hospital wing for her batch of dragon pox a couple of weeks earlier. Alfonz should have been watching. He should have kept a better eye out for his sister, for he knew she was ignoring him for a specific reason. “You should never ignore me, what have I told you?” he growled softly, annoyed that she had almost killed herself, working so hard to make what she believed would make her father happy. It wasn’t until an outburst in her potions class did anyone really realized just how sick she was. Just how far along the pox had been in her system.
Nearing him, he gestured to her with only one finger, allowing her to come closer; beckoning her to place herself in the chair with him where he sat, upon his lap. On the arm of his chair, a familiar brush that Celina could only smile knowingly at. It had been a while since he had brushed her hair, and even longer that he had asked for her to come near as he did. Of course, it had been she who had avoided him, she who had told herself she could not see him. He would have known she was sick as soon as he saw her, and Celina couldn’t afford that at the time she had become ill.
“Sit,” he ordered softly, patting his lap and picking up the brush that lay on the arm of the chair. Celina nodded gently, complying with her brother’s wishes as she walked up to him slowly, her school uniform swaying with the movement of her legs moving beneath it. Turning, she sat softly, Alfonz’s hands on her, pulling her closer into him as he wrapped his arms around her at first and let them linger, the side of his face laying against the side of his sister, and Celina turned her body so that her arms were around her brother and she too embraced him. He had been so worried… Celina felt incredibly awful for making him worry so much. “I’m so sorry,” she whispered softly in his ear as she placed her cheek up against the rough stubble of her brother’s.
He shook his head, not wanting to argue at that moment with her. Alfonz knew that she was striving hard to prove herself to their father, and how could he demand that she deny that? Not even Alfonz himself could deny their father, and so, in his own way, he understood. Opening his legs up slightly, he made it so when Celina turned forward to sit facing the fire, rather than curled up within his arms, her back was straight and her long hair flowed freely down her back and in front of him. Celina, as always, followed Alfonz’s lead and turned her body, her skirt catching just slightly on Alfonz’s knee before she moved it so that her thigh wasn’t showing. Her giggle was followed by a cough, and Alfonz took and gathered all of her dark hair within his hand, before he started to brush it slowly with the other.
The smooth dark locks, filtered through his hands as he brushed her hair, and he could see Celina’s eyes close. She was safe, and at peace, right there. Alfonz was her protector, both Jedynaks knew that, and Alfonz would stop at nothing to keep protecting her. Leaning back slightly, Alfonz placed the brush back down on the arm of the chair, and took Celina in his arms once more. One of his hands wrapped around her midsection as the other crossed over her bosom. “You scared the shit out of me, you know. Do you even remember any of what you yelled at me in the hospital wing?” Celina shook her head. She remembered only bits and pieces of her night terrors that came to life during the few days she was administered into the hospital wing. “It matters not…” his voice was soft, and yet a deep harshness lingered in the air.
“Let me see?” he asked of Celina as he pushed her somewhat forward to look at her delicate skin. Alfonz pushed her ebony hair to the side nearest to the door so that he could take a look at what the disease had left behind. Her blouse unbuttoned slightly, he moved her shirt down her right shoulder to peer down the back of her blouse to look at her back. The rash seemed to be disappearing nicely, and hopefully, Celina would be free of any scars or pox marks. His fingers gently traced her shoulder as he held her in his arms with his free arm, allowing Celina room so that she could lean back against him once more. She could feel his breath on her neck, and as she looked towards the door… her eyes opened wide, in pure horror.

The day felt really, really long. Why? Well, not feeling well all day did a good chunk of it for her, the fact she wasn't feeling well for the last week did nothing for her sleeping habits, not to mention the stress she was feeling all throughout January. January was a bad time, it meant a year since those horrible people appeared at the school, did what they did, appointed Raynor Headmistress, and her huge fight with Celina that ended in them not speaking for a long time. She didn't want to worry about it, but she couldn't think of not worrying about it. And because she was worrying about it, she was also making herself even more ill than before. The blonde didn't want dragon pox, had tried to brush her illness off to the side as a common cold, but even deep down she knew it wasn't just a cold, not something a pepper-up potion could fix. It was something more, and the rash and bumps that appeared on the length of her body only proved the point further.
Wandering down the corridor, finally resolving to going to the nurse, Felicity wasn't exactly sure where to find the Hospital Wing. Glancing left to right and back again, she couldn't find the area and had been wandering for at least an hour searching. After looking around on upper floors, the blonde ended up going down a lot of stairs all at once and she didn't care because if she was heading to the hospital wing, she could be mended up there just fine.
Though, finding herself wandering the ground floor wasn't what she expected, especially since she hadn't come down the main stairwell. Passing by doors, the blonde tried to find the wing she needed, pushing lightly on doors as she passed. Only one budged, and that was not the one she wanted, or rather needed.
With the door allowing her entrance so freely, she pushed it further open to reveal a sight she didn't know what to think of. In her state of illness, maybe she was just hallucinating, but she knew she wasn't that ill. The scene before her was startling, disturbing, and she didn't comprehend it. Closing her eyes, she looked away before turning her light brown orbs back to what was there. Why hadn't it disappeared?
Gulping, the blonde took a step back, knowing she wasn't where she wanted to be, nor that she was supposed to be there at all. Dark hair fell down over the side of a young woman that was so familiar to Felicity, another figure bent slightly over and around the young girl, wrapped tightly with one another, too close for anything else. Unfortunately, her eyes met wide, horrified darker ones, ones that she wished hadn't looked at her.
"Celina?" she whispered, shocked. It wasn't really what she thought, was it? Her breath caught in her throat, choking the girl who all ready was having troubles breathing.

Dark orbs opened wide, and yet there was hardly any color in them. They were like an abyss where if one looked long enough, they’d get sucked in, and lost for life. However, Celina’s two orbs wouldn’t allow themselves to be stationary long enough for anyone to lose themselves in them, for as Alfonz’s breath had stopped suddenly with the realization that the two siblings were no longer alone, Celina was already scrambling out of Alfonz’s lap, trying to cover whatever was exposed up from her best friend’s sight.
That, however, was slightly difficult as when she got up, her shirt fell further down her arm producing more cleavage than Celina normally would have shown on a daily basis, and her dress wrinkled slightly so that it was hiked up higher on one leg than on the other. She straightened herself out quickly, allowing that of herself to be the only sounds that passed though the room. Alfonz didn’t move at first, Celina didn’t know what exactly he was doing. Grabbing at her shirt with one hand as she pulled down her skirt with the other, Celina looked up at Felicity with fear of no explanation at hand.
Nothing she had done was wrong, and Celina knew that with her entire heart, and yet, Felicity’s facial expression made her feel more guilt than the Ravenclaw had ever felt about being near to her brother. Why was she staring like that? With no words but her name to haunt the entire room? “Felicity?” Celina questioned back, a nervous sort of laugh followed. “What are you doing here?” she asked her best friend, trying to take the guilt off of herself and place the spectacle back towards the intruder.
Yes, that’s what Felicity was, an intruder among things that she wasn’t meant to see or know about. Pure blood things that Celina knew Felicity would never understand. She looked back towards Alfonz… and waited.

Alfonz briefly placed his face up against his sister’s neck as she leaned over him, his hand resting across her chest, as it had been when she first sat down. There was no time to comfort his sister any further, however, nor was there any time to ask her how she was feeling from her illness before another’s voice was heard. Celina? It was an echo of a distant pass that was haunting him at that moment. His mother’s voice, wondering what he was doing as he watched his child sister in her crib as she lay where she had been, sleeping soundly. Celina’s movement snapped him back from his thoughts, tearing out of his arms as fast as she possibly could.
Narrowing, his eyes at the blond Gryffindor he’d come to know so well, he saw the shock and utter terror that shown on her face. She knew nothing of what was going on, and for her to look as if she’d seen something so awful was almost insulting… infuriating… and of course, Alfonz saw it as threatening. If she ran her mouth to the wrong people about something that she knew absolutely nothing about, she’d be a ‘Roger Bauber’ all over again… Alfonz shook his head, keeping quite as he did so. There was nothing for anyone to be getting all worked up about.
Looking back at Celina, she was getting her clothing back together, making things look even that much worse in Alfonz’s opinion and he scoffed at her waste of effort that was conversation. Standing up from his chair slightly he walked over to Celina and turned her toward him, swatting her hands away from her shirt as he buttoned her back up, one button at a time. He smiled at her, a sort of smile that was up to no good, and kissed her briefly on her forehead. Celina closed her eyes and sighed again, then turning her head back towards Felicity.
Alfonz did the same, placing his hand on top of Celina’s head, and slowly allowing it to travel down the back of her hair, finally resting on the midsection of her back. “Yes, Miss Hjort. Whatever does bring you into my humble abode?”

The hastiness in which Celina stood, the movements of her best friend, the rapidness of everything sent the blonde's head spinning further than it had been with just being ill. Why were Celina's clothes hanging like they were? The girl was always so conservative with her dressing, something Felicity admired about her friend, and yet...and yet...right now there was nothing conservative with how she was dressed. Her shirt was hanging unbuttoned, falling from her shoulder, her skirt was sitting shorter than what was really necessary, and her eyes, well, they looked about how Felicity felt.
The nervous laughter, tone of her friend's voice, it wasn't right. Why would her friend be so nervous sounding, unless...? No, Felicity wouldn't think like that, that wasn't it. There was absolutely no way, it couldn't be.
Her mouth felt full of cotton as she tried to produce some sort of response to answer Celina about why she was there, but once more she found unable to do anything but stand there with her mouth agape watching as Alfonz was now dressing Celina. What was going on? "I--I was--Celin--" she didn't feel so well.
The hospital wing, that was what she was searching for, looking for the nurse to take care of her. A wave of dizziness swept over her and she wasn't sure if it was because she didn't feel well or if it was because of what she thought she was seeing. "I didn't mean--I was just lookin---I need to go to the nurse."
Finally, something that came out correctly. Her breath was coming shorter, trying not to panic about what she thought she saw, trying to keep what was trying to come up down, and trying not to cry.

Celina’s dark orbs still starring feverishly at Felicity’s light brown ones as she stood still holding onto her shirt, trying to keep it closed out of pure embarrassment. What was so wrong? Nothing. Alfonz was checking her back for the rash to make sure it wasn’t coming back, and yet, when Celina opened her mouth to explain nothing came out. Her voice had gone mute and all she could do was slightly whimper. Her whimpers were met with movement as Alfonz stood from his chair finally, and put his hands on her shoulders, forcing her to turn his way. Looking up at her older brother, he swat at her hands, hitting them lightly and she allowed her hands to slowly drop from her shirt and to her sides, as Alfonz grabbed onto each side of the unbuttoned shirt and began to replace it back to it’s original form. As he did that, Celina straightened out her skirt so that it fell at the knees, where it was supposed to fall and then, both Jedynaks turned to face Felicity once more.
I—I was—Celin—
It was the first time that Celina was able to look at her friend fully, and not just into her eyes terrified like. Felicity didn’t seem all together, and frankly, she looked as bad as she had just days prior. Had Felicity caught the pox as well? Celina didn’t know, but soon the fear in her eyes transformed into concern and she didn’t know what to do. Clinging onto her brother, she tilted her head at her best friend spoke, and Alfonz asked her what she was doing there.
How had she even gotten in? Celina pondered to herself as she now leaned her head against her brother, somewhat hiding herself behind him. Was Alfonz going to get mad at her? Or say something mean to her? Celina hoped not, but at the same time, her voice still escaped her… that was, from saying everything except her friend’s name. “Felicity?” Celina said again as no words came forth from the blond as quickly as they normally would have to answer Alfonz’s question.
I didn’t mean—I was just looking—I need to go to the nurse
Finally, an answer came that made Celina’s face turn bright red. Felicity was just looking? Well, Celina could have told her that much, for her eyes hadn’t left either Jedynak since she had barged in on them. Though, even with her annoyance and her own fears bustling up inside her, Celina couldn’t ignore the last of Felicity’s statements… she needed to go to the nurse.
She was sick, and Celina instantly felt bad for feeling ill towards her friend. “I’ll take you,” she said immediately. “I knew you didn’t look too—“ Alfonz put his hand up to stop Celina and Celina just looked at him with concern and fear in her own eyes again. Was it now he was going to be angered at her? Or even at Celina herself for obviously letting this happen? She shuttered slightly and yet stayed back behind his arm, again clinging to his robes slightly.

It was pure foolishness on Celina’s part, for she was the last one to have entered into his domain, and therefore, the last to be at the door. It was obvious to Alfonz now that the only way the blond friend of Celina’s would have gotten into the room was if the door had never been fully shut, and Alfonz tried his damnedest not to be fully aggravated at his younger sister. Now they had issues, for the look on the blonds face as he did up his sister’s shirt only increased in intensity and in disbelief. She knew nothing, and Alfonz would make sure of that.
I—I was—Celin—
“Spit it out, girl. What were you thinking?” Alfonz’s eyes narrowed as his sister huddled and cowered behind him, obviously lost for words at that time. Felicity looked as if she were going to fall over, and yet, Alfonz and Celina stood their distance, not nearing her at all. If anything, Alfonz would allow her to pass out, and then carry her to the hospital wing himself telling them that he found her out in the snow or something of the sort. She’d wake up, and they’d tell her lies and falsehoods, convincing her that she’d never seen what she saw. And yet, what did she see? That was what Alfonz wanted to know, and wanted to find out.
I didn’t mean—I was just looking—I need to go to the nurse
Well that much was obvious on all accounts. Didn’t mean? Who would mean to wander into Alfonz’s quarters without as much of a knock? Not even Raynor herself was brave enough to do that, and Alfonz knew that to be true with all of his soul. Just looking? She hadn’t stopped since she arrived and frankly, it was getting just as aggravating as her stuttering and wasting of their time. Nurse? Celina moved forward, expressing that she would take her and Alfonz quickly stuck out his hand forbidding it. “You just got over the pox,” he said, quickly coming up with an excuse. “There’s only so many times I can take it if you’re in the hospital wing. I may be young, but my heart can only beat for so long,” his tone was hushed and filled with venom as he looked at his younger sister, gesturing with his head for her to sit back down in his chair.
“Celina, sit. I don’t need you getting sick again. I’ll take her.” Alfonz’s demands were met with his sister’s retreat to the seat and nodding of her head. She looked back at Felicity and smiled. “It’s going to be ok, Felicity… I promise. You’ve probably just to that pox thing…” Alfonz nodded and took a few slow steps forward. “Unless you can make it on your own, Miss Hjort. For, I’m sure by now you’ve realized that this is far from any place you wanted to be.” His eyes glared at her, but only slightly for he didn’t want to intimidate her too much. He had to know what she saw…
…Alfonz had to know what Felicity thought she saw.

The commanding tone of Celina's brother frighted Felicity, especially since she wasn't sure what was going on. All she'd been doing was looking for the hospital wing, she pushed on doors, and this one opened so she thought it would lead her to where she was trying to go. The chance of opening the door to Jedynak's place wasn't a lucky one, she'd even only been there once, for Celina's birthday, and even then things were so odd, like the exact directions she had to follow to get there.
When Celina offered to escort her to the nurse, Felicity nodded, wondering if that meant they'd have a chance to talk, and she'd clarify exactly what Felicity did see. It wasn't what she thought she saw, it couldn't have been, there was no way. But what other explanation was there? She didn't know and didn't frankly want to think about it, but her mind wouldn't drop the subject for her to think of anything else other than how Celina was dressed upon the lioness entering Alfonz's abode.
Eyes still carefully watching the two Jedynak's, Felicity's face dropped and her heart broke when Alfonz put a stop to Celina helping the blonde to the hospital wing. What frightened her more was when he offered to escort her himself.
And there it was. The feeling that she'd been fighting all day, all week, the urge to find a bathroom was overwhelming, but what was more so was Alfonz's tone of voice. Clutching at her stomach, she tried not to think about what she saw, or thought she saw, or the fact Celina wasn't allowed to take her to the nurse.
Shaking her head in response to the older boy, Felicity had to take a moment to swallow anything and everything before answering. "I don't--don't know where she is."
That was why she'd entered the wrong room, Felicity was lost.

Celina, sit. I don’t need you getting sick again. I’ll take her. Alfonz’s demands were met with his sister’s retreat to the seat and nodding of her head. She looked back at Felicity and smiled. “It’s going to be ok, Felicity… I promise. You’ve probably just to that pox thing…” Celina’s eyes met with her brother’s nod and she tried not to nervously smile as her big brother took a few slow steps toward Felicity. Unless you can make it on your own, Miss Hjort. For, I’m sure by now you’ve realized that this is far from any place you wanted to be. His voice taunted her friend, and Celina mouth turning into a crooked sort of annoyed look. Why did he have to be so mean sometimes?
Felicity, however, looked as if she were getting worse rather than better and Celina sat back in her chair and closed her eyes. She would wait for her brother’s return and then discuss with him what had happened with the dragon pox hallucinations, and everything else they needed to speak about. Until then, Celina would rest her eyes. Her brother could and would help Felicity, and Celina was confident that he would do so to the best of his ability.
As she heard the door open, Celina opened her eyes and looked at the other two in the room. “Hurry back, Alfonz! And take good care of her,” she flashed a sympathetic smile at Alfonz as her eyes met his. She knew he’d do great… and maybe, he’d see why Celina loved Felicity so much.

Alfonz knew what she’d seen, but what she thought it was, was the issue. After the events in January, and the dragon pox screams that Celina had allowed others to hear, Alfonz didn’t need anymore eyes or suspicions raising about himself and his younger sister. They’d been so safe at Hogwarts, allowed to go and come as they pleased. Now they were about to lose all of that, and Alfonz wouldn’t let Felicity be the cause of it. They only had to hang on for a little longer… it was something he kept telling himself and Celina… just a bit longer.
Finally, he stopped his footsteps toward the blond and he looked down at her, gesturing towards the door. I don’t—don’t know where she is. “Well, that’s what we’re going to find out. Miss. Hjort…” he gestured for her to walk in front of him, getting the door for her as he did so. He’d take her to the hospital wing which was just a floor below, get her taken care of, but before that, he’d clear her head of anything foolish she could have been thinking.
Hurry back, Alfonz! And take good care of her!
Alfonz looked back at his younger sister and met up with her eyes and her small smile. He gave her one back and tipped his head. She was hoping for the best, and he doubted she’d suspect he’d do anything against the girl. Not when it could be risky and he could be seen… and yet, that was exactly what he was going to do. “Of course,” he responded back to his sister giving her a smirk.
“Miss. Hjort, if we could please. The longer you stand here, the less well you’ll feel, I’m sure.”

That pox thing
No, she wasn't ill, she couldn't be. After not having gone home because Raynor wouldn't allow them too, it would be all that woman's fault if she was ill. Besides, she didn't want to be ill, she wanted to figure out what was going on and not visit the hospital wing, or at least she didn't want to spend too much time at the hospital wing. Felicity was all right with visiting the nurse, for a few minutes at least, longer than that and it didn't feel right. She had to stay at the Hospital wing for a while after last January, she didn't want to have to stay again. What was the point? If she was ill, why couldn't she just return to her dorm and sleep it off, or to Drew's arms...
Next thing she knew, the blonde was being ushered from the man's office and into the hall with farewell words from her best friend. Celina trusted Alfonz, so she knew she could, but what of what she just saw? Maybe it really wasn't anything and she was just ill and thats all it was. Felicity was sure that had to be it. After all, what else could it really be?
Following the man's orders, Felicity quickly covered her mouth, holding back any feelings that weren't well, and exited the room. He'd take her where she needed to go, Celina promised he would. And what she saw, must have been her imagination.
Head hung slightly, the blonde kept her hand over her mouth and slowly walked down the corridor a bit, waiting for him to tell her which way to go.

((OMG!! Look! MUSE!! ;D))
Behind him, the click of the door seemed to echo loudly throughout the ground floor. It almost was enough to make the twenty two year old jump, but he held back his startled notion just enough to escort Felicity Hjort outside and watch her walk as if she were a crup with it's tail between its legs. Now what? He could only ask himself so many times in his own mind until he was still out of answers. If the girl had seen what he thought she saw, and thought it anything other than what it truly was...
Alfonz knew what he could lose. It had been the same way as it had always been growing up with a younger sister, and watching over her as he did. No one ever understood. He was more of a father to his younger sister than a brother, even more so that their own father was. He had been the one who'd saved her how many times? From everyone... from even herself at times, Alfonz had saved Celina... and above all else, he'd saved her from the blond Gryffindor Prefect that waited for him to catch up and tell her how and which way to go.
It was evident that she waited for him... and dutifully, she should have been. She was no under his control more than she knew, and Alfonz wanted to even admit. What could he do with some mudblood of a witch like she? Above all else... someone with as big of a mouth as Alfonz knew the blond could have. Of course, he did have instilled within her fear... he could smell it through her sickness that she wasn't pleased to be there with him, and even less pleased to be there with him... alone.
Walking up beside her, Alfonz gently placed his hand on the back of her arm, not taking a hold, but more so he could gently push her in the direction she would need to go. "Have you truly lost yourself that much you have no clue where you are or what you see?" Alfonz asked her, wondering just how far the sickness had gotten to her, his tone was hushed, but the small hint of growl was still evident. It was defensive, as if allowing her to know that she knew something, when really there had been nothing to know. Bending down slightly, so that his face was to the level of hers, but still far enough away to give Felicity her space, he turned so that he could stare deeply within her eyes.
"The sickness has been known to disorientate, after all..." he whispered, a smirk crossing his features. Maybe he could blame all of what she might have seen on the pox playing with her mind. If so... what else could he pull? Or rather, what else could he obtain from the Hjort girl? After all, did she not deserve something... after what she'd done to Celina and all....
