New Wizarding Housing Complex erected in Central London
Taking place of the 19th century building of the closed down school of Blemmers, this new housing complex has risen from the ashes of the wizarding institution. "I know the uncertainty that comes with housing, particularly in the youth who have little or no means of supporting themselves," Ana Valentin, the chief archetict behind the project. It's been said she was inspired when her own daughter Benita, soon-to-be graduate of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, was on the verge of knowing that same uncertainty. No comment could come from her, however, as security in Hogwarts has risen to alarming heights. (To read more on life after the Thorne Murder, turn to page F5).
The building, called the Wendelring*, has been completely made anew and renovated with a stable structure. Five stories marks the height, with approximately 200 apartments. Inside, some amenities include a ground level laundry room, heating units, hardwood floors, and many more functions.
As for it's location, it's perfect for commuting between the two worlds. "The location had to be exact," says Valentin, as she comments on the interim convenience between St. Mungos and Diagon Alley, not to mention everywhere else in central London is within a reasonable distance.
For now, the building is still under the final inspections and cleaning before anyone can reside in it. As for price and sizes, both range for the sake of the people, where several rooms in certain apartments can be used for roommates. "We'll be ready soon, and I hope the people can appreciate that," Valentin says proudly, looking up at her work and smiling with the same inspiration she had six months ago.
