Beni's face lit up when she saw the Slytherin. Despite the few clashes they had, they still had other memories in the year to make them legit friends. But when Brittany went to go catch Reina, Beni took to the girl she hadn't seen before. "Hi, Kayden. Couldn't help but overhear the both of you. I'm Beni, a lioness. What house might you be in?" She took a swig of her butterbeer, sighed, and smiled.

Reina looked at Brittany and laughed. Actually laughed. Not one of those laughs to be intimidating or a butt, but a true laugh. She shook her head surprised at herself.
"Nope, I don't have enough black cloaks. Plus I'm thinking..."
Reina trailed off.
"You know as good as I that I don't belong there. I'm not friendly with any of those people and most don't want me there anyways. Look, I just have things I need to think about and I can do it better without hearing you all so giggly and stupid. I don't need this anyways!

Brittany couldn't help but laugh along with her. For some reason, the girl's laugh seemed different and not in a fake way. Somewhat inviting and kind, like it was real...which was a new thing for Reina. As the Slytherin girl started in on what she had been expected, she shook her head and sighed. The first part was sadly true but that was only because the girl had made it that way. The last part tied into the first part on how she made it that way.
"Oh come now Reina...there is no way that you can tell me that you don't want to be able to hang out with people your own age. To laugh about various, possibly pointless and stupid things and have not a care in the world even if it is only just for an hour," Brittany paused at this, letting her words sink in before continuing,
"And when in the bloody hell did you start caring about what others thought of you? Now that's not the Reina that I know and love to hate." Brittany smirked at her last words. It might be true that she couldn't stand the girl sometimes but it would be so much different without her there.

Reina shook her head and opened her mouth to speak when Brittany cut her off and started again. Reina looked shocked at Brittany's words and she slowly smiled. Like the laugh this smile was true and genuine lighting up her face and her eyes in a way that hasn't been done in a long long time.
"By Merlin you're right. I ... what's wrong with me? How could I actually care what he thinks or any of you for that matter. I'm me and I know most of you are either jealous or just truly stupid. Plus I love bothering and annoying all of you. When did I start feeling bad about that."
Reina laughed and hopped off the stool. She rubbed her hands together thinking of new ways to bother and annoy Charon.
"That's so weird. I was truly bothered by the way yall think of me." Reina spoke loudly so that it carried over to the sixth and seventh years. "Besides I think Charon adores me. Can you imagine a Ravenclaw liking me! I might just let him hold my hand ... if he's nice!"

A few moments later before Kayden even knew it, the Gryffindor girl was off and away to one of her friends. Understandable, certainly. She knew that the other sixth years most likely wanted to spend time with their classmates that they knew verses the ones they didn't. Her assumptions, however, were all lost as words the moment she heard her name again.
Another girl dressed in the Gryffindor colors approached her, introducing herself as Beni. Before responding, she sipped her butterbeer before setting it down and turning her attention to the girl.
"Um..hi there.." Kayden smiled a little, feeling briefly embarassed that she hadn't came out into the Hogwarts populations sooner. "I'm in Hufflepuff, actually. I transfered mid-year. I think I've seen you around..."

Charon snarled as he heard his name escape Reina's lips. Without raising his head he glanced around quickly, making sure no teachers were looking. Once he was positive he was in the clear, he gave Reina a lovely single-finger salute. He quickly quaffed the rest of his butter beer and decided it was time to leave. If Rael was around he'd find her instead of waiting in the same room as Reina. He got up and headed for the door.

"Now that is more like it!" Brittany exclaimed as Reina came around. She was glad to hear the girl talking like that again, even if it possilby meant trouble. Laughing at the random things that she said, she was surprised a bit when she jumped off of the stool. Watching the girl's actions, she could barely keep a straight face. The girl was practically giddy and she couldn't believe this was the same girl she had been talking to just five minutes before.
Looking over at Charon to see his reaction, she shook her head in disgust. Glancing back up to Riena she told the girl, "Now, now...we can't have that can we?" She thought over the idea of whipping out her wand and zooming him back here but she waited patiently to see what the Slytherin girl would do instead.

Beni really didn't mean to ignore Kayden, but with the sudden excitement of the prodigal sixth year returning, Beni raised her glass in a cheer.
Hearing Reina's accusation toward Charon, Beni giggled and said, "Charon! I don't think Rael will like this one bit, mate." Speaking of the third and last Gryffindor, Beni was wondering where she was. She hadn't seen the girl in a while, and thought that they could at least exchange information so they could talk over the summer.
Of course after all the mini antics, Beni finally remembered she was still talking with another person exclusively. "Sorry, dear. Transder, you say? Why, I was one, too! But I came in a few months after the term started. So it's likely you've seen me more than I've seen you. Hopefully we get to see more of you here, right?"

Reina was already at Charon's side blocking the aisle. There was no way she was going to let him leave. Reina smiled devishly at Charon and as usual it didn't reach her eyes, but there was a small twinkle there.
"Charon, darling, where are you going? I can't possibly let you leave. Nope! Come on don't be a spoiled sport. I'll let you hold my hand even though you aren't being very nice."
Reina laughed. She loved annoying him. It was too much fun, plus it helped with their cover. If he would ignore her Reina didn't know what she would do with her seventh year.

Charon had growled softly and stopped up short when Reina entered his path. Why did she have to bother him? "I'm not your darling. And I certainly don't want to hold your hand," he snarled. He resumed moving forwards again. If he had to physically push past her, so be it. But he was not going to stay in here of his own free will. As he did so, he glanced around for alternate escape routes. Obviously he wouldn't get very far if she used magic to hold him back, but if she didn't, there was a fair chance that he could get around her another way.

Reina smirked. She looked over at Brittany and smiled. Reina moved again to block Charon's path.
"Charon, Charon, Charon. I'm not the only one who enjoys your company."
Reina motioned with her head at Birttany.
"Come on, I promise to be decent if you will. Truce for 24hrs."
Reina looked at Charon and knew that he would see past her facade. They being so close and what not. (smirk) So she opened herself to him and let him see past her for the briefest of moments; he could see her lonliness, her grief, and her anger that boiled in her core.
"I promise."

Charon was a bit wary. He liked the thought of a truce, but it was Reina that had suggested it. And he was very disinclined to believe her, especially when she said it was for 24 hours. However, when she opened herself to him and he caught a glimpse of what he'd almost seen months ago, he was more sure that it wasn't a trick. "Right. A truce. Ok then," he said flatly. He wasn't going to shake on it, though. He didn't trust her anywhere near that much. He backed up and returned to his seat at the table. Sgnaling to the bartender for another butterbeer, he watched Reina warily.

Wow that was easy
Reina was going to say more, but he left before she could do anything. Reina shrugged and smiled at Brittany and as if time had not passed Reina's eyes held no emotion, but a lifelessness.
"Well, the ravenclown boy isn't leaving so I guess we'll all have a great time now."
Reina put her hands in her cloak and felt a few bottles of wizarding silly string. Reina slowly smile as a plan formed in her head.

Charon did not like the smile growing on Reina's face. More accurately, it disturbed him. It looked to him like the type of smile a cat would wear just before pouncing on an unsuspecting mouse. Alright, kitty, just try pouncing on this mouse. I don't think you'll find it at all to your liking, he thought. Truce notwithstanding, if Reina was willing to start something here and now, Charon would be more than happy to finish it. If only he hadn't lost his wand. That little fact would make any fight he had with her quite annoying.
