Zack sat careful in his chair sipping quietly on his drink and listening to his mother and sisters chat animatedly. His mind was not with the conversation though, he was more thinking about Hogwarts and what was to come. He could still sense the people around him though, he could almost feel their pulse in the heavily noised air, certainly he could sense them around him, his sister the strongest. Even staring at the table he knew her well enough to know she would be fidgeting or looking for an escape so it was no surprise to him when his mother started yelling and shoved away from the table, giving it a violent jolt and causing her drink to spill.
He let a small sigh slip out of his lips and his shoulders sag for a moment then looked up and scanned the area for his sister. He could just see her slipping into a crowd. He glanced at his sisters and Parker before sliding out of his chair and grabbing his half-drank butterbeer and his sister unopened one. He pocketed his sisters and, sipping on his, walked out onto the street.
His mother was stomping down the street but he knew that Echo was smart enough to take an alley. He made his way to the nearest one and down it until he reached the next street. He stoppedat the end of the ally, just off the road and closed his eyes, trying to imagine Echo running down this alley, which way would she take. Probably back up, the way opposite the crowd had been going when she slipped over to this street. Not in any particular hurry, he strode down the street. Stopping occasionally to ask people if they had seen a girl his age run by.

Why Jethro was in Hogsmeade Ally, had been entirely up to his Grandfather. The elder man has some sort of 'business' there, some drifted conversation the man had with his grandson, but Jeth really hadn't been taking notice. As the boy stepped out into the slightly chilled air, his black hoody lifted over the boys golden-brown hair. His blue eyes scanned around, before he shoved his chilled hands into the black jeans he was wearing. "Well Jethro, this place is a bit different to Diagon Ally, so you're welcome to explore, just meet me back at this shop," his Grandfather pointed to 'The Three Broomsticks' before continuing to talk "In a few hours, you have some spending money, so enjoy my boy!" he finally gave Jet a pat on the back, before briskly walking into the busy pub.
"Brilliant..." Jethro muttered, taking off into a slow walk along a mildly-crowded street, and kicked a stone along on his way. Sure, this place would have been great, had he not missed out extra need-ed sleep today, due to the youth's commitment to go to Hogsmeade with his Grand-dad. Stopping and looking at various shops, the boy smirked. An ally... he thought, before glancing around, and sneaking through it, before emerging into another street
Other shops filled with wizard objects and such, filled his blue eyes. Feeling slightly happier that he was heading out of the town more, Jethro pushed through random people both in and out of robes, before bumping into someone on his left, this making in stumble. The boy's foot getting caught in dint in the road, he tripped, and fell to his knees, before murmuring "Sorry," to whomever it was he had hit. Well, what an adventure so far!

Zack had just finished asking a rather pink witch if she had seen a girl his age, probably running. She had said no and he was just about to head off when suddenly getting suddenly jolted from his right side, whoever bumped into him's left. He almost fell but after stumbling for a few steps he sort of spun on one foot, leaving most of his momentum in the ground and caught himself with a neatness that only comes with practice.
Having regained his balance he looked to see who had bumped into him. He had not heard the boys mumbled apologized but did see him on his knees and immediately apologized and offered a hand to help him up. “I’m sorry, are you ok?”

Jethro brushed off his hands on his upper-legs, before thankfully taking the hand that had been offered. The boys eyes now lightened, he smiled softly before said "No worries mate, it was half my fault anyways, and yeah thanks, I've had worse bumps." he flashed a more encouraging smile before flicking his hair out of his blue eyes, aside.
"I'm Jet bye the way, Jethro Stevens." Jethro then lowered his hood, to make himself more polite, before extending his hand out in front of the other boy. Though the young Stevens' wasn't aware of his name, Zack looked around his age, and he had apologized where there wasn't all that much need to, so he seemed nice.

He pulled Jethro to his feet and smiled back before shaking hands and introducing himself, “I’m Zack, good to meet you…You haven’t seen a girl my age, black hair, have you? It’s my sister, I’m trying to find her.” He cast around the street again, no sign of her. She would probably be running, wherever she was, and he had a rather good guess of where. But he was in the company of somebody else so he turned his attention back to Jet and gave a friendly grin.

"Nice to meet you too," Jethro added, matching the boys grin now. Thinking for a moment, Jethro hadn't noticed a girl of Zack's description. "Sorry mate, i haven't." he watched the other boy look around. "I can help you, if you like, i have nothin' better to do." his blue eyes now returning to the boy in front of him.
To be truthfully, Jethro had absolutely nothing to do. Sure, he could mindlessly wander into shops and make finger prints on their products, but nothing would really sink into his mind, not when he was thinking about something else... "Where did you last see her?" Jethro then said, his grin fading slightly as his blue eyes glanced around yet again.
