Rain poured down from the sky, blurring everything in the distance and gently rapping on the roofs and street. Most people had been driven back to their houses or into shops or pubs by the rain, normally Angie would be one of them, but not this evening. This evening Angie was walking happily along the cobblestone street of Diagon Ally, looking casually in the shop windows for something that caught her eye, but not really looking to buy.
Angie was just happy. Hogwarts was out for the summer and she would be spending three weeks of it at Jacks house in Hogsmead, she hadn’t been their yet, but he was sure it was great, the rest of the time she would be at home with Tim and Gina and her father.
Rain trickled down her face and dripped from her nose and ears, her hair was plastered to her head, and her clothes were soaked and clinging to her, but she was enjoying it. So much that she almost didn’t notice the person who had suddenly appeared in front of her as they emerged from a shop. She veered to the right, out into the empty street, and tried to stop. She did, and just in time to not run into the person, but the rain had made the street slippery, she slipped and fell on her butt with a slight, “Ohf.”

"Woah!" Krissy exclaimed as her and Angie had almost run heads first into each other. Krissy didn't mind the rain much. But her bag full of filibuster wet start fireworks did. She hadn't realised it was raining before charging out into the street from the joke store. She had bought alot of stuff and most of it had fitted nicely into her backpack (which had been magicked to be bigger) but some of it just didn't. Butn that was because she had bought a whole lot of fireworks. She saw Angie fall suddenly down.
"Are you ok?" Krissy asked Angie holding out her hand to help the girl up, but at the same time the rain had finally gotten inside her plastic bag she was holding and the plastic bag started emitting sparks from all over the place. "Argh!" Krissy exclaimed suddenly. Tossing the bag as far as she could down the street. She would buy some more fireworks before returning back to hogwarta anyway. These ones were for holiday use. Krissy smiled as the fireworks emitted lots of rainbow and colourful coloures as they all exploded.
Krissy looked back down and smiled at Angie. "Slippery isn' it?" she said with a smile.

Angie watched wide eyed as the bag Krissy was holding began to let of sparks and stared in amazement after the bag as she threw it down the street while it erupted in a mass of flying sparks and colors. It was quite a show, the fireworks were being reflected back on themselves by the rain, making it seem even brighter and more colorful.
Angie, still wide eyed in shock and amazement, looked back up at Krissy. She vaguely remembered her from Hogwarts. Oh, that was it, she was at that party in the common room. In answer to her question she nodded and said, “Uh…yeah.” She got to her feet and looked back at the dying fireworks. “What were those? I thought fireworks only worked when it was hot.”

Krissy laughed. "You haven't seen many magical fireworks then" Krissy said with a smile to Angie. "Those were filibuster wet start fireworks, instead of lighting them you wet them and they go off with a bang, I probably should have paid attention to the fact that its raining" Krissy said with a laugh. If there was one thing she knew about it was fireworks. And those ones were awesome. "I'll just buy some more when I'm back in London before school starts back up" Krissy said deciding it was better than buying some more now. Her bag was packed pretty full anyway.
"So what are ya doin' out in the rain?" Krissy asked Angie curiously looking around at the cobbeled street. There wasn't really anyone else outside.

“No…I mean, I’ve seen Jack set them off quiet a few times, but I never paid to much attention.” Angie said. She felt a little bad that Krissy had just bought them to have them go off accidentally. Then in answer she said, “Um…” she shrugged. “I was jus-just out…en-n-enjoying the rain. I’m just happy we’re out of Hogwarts and I get to go and see Jack.”
She looked around the near deserted street after Krissy did, looking, as usual, nervous like she half-excepted to see some terrifying creature come out of a shop. She looked in the shop, thinking that Jack might like some wet-start fireworks, but it sounded too dangerous to get them right now, he probably already had half a ton.
“Rotten weather though, eh?” Angie asked as she looked back to Krisyy.

Krissy laughed. "Yeah the weathers not very happy with me, I'm sposed to be leaving o go backpacking tomorrow and the weathers just being nasty" Krissy laughed. It didn't really worry her, she had also made sure her backpack was water proof as she planned to walk alot of places, though she would go via floo powder a few times so ease the journey.
"Who's jack?" Krissy asked Angie, hoping it wasn't a personal question or anything of the sort. Krissy didn't mind the fact her fireworks had gone off. they had looked mightely cool and thats all that mattered.

"Well, I hope the weather clears for you," Angie said before answering her question. "He's my brother, just got his own house in Hogsmead too." She grinned a little bit as a very slight note of family pride entered her voice. Jack was not really her brother, but she referred to him as it.
She looked around again, she didn’t know what to say to Krissy and didn’t mind the silence, but it would be odd to just stand here stupidly in the pouring rain so she asked. “W-what ye-year will you be when school starts up again?”

Krissy smiled. "Thats pretty cool, I wish I had my own house, but I wouldn't live in it for the majority of the year so there wouldn't be much use" Krissy said with a laugh. "And thanks, not that the rain worry's me too much, it just means traveling will be a bit slower and alot colder"
Krissy glanced around through the rain a drop making its way down her nose. She shook her hea dshaking some of the rain off her. "I'll be a 6th year" Krissy said with a smile "You'll be second wont you?" she asked Angie curiously.

"Well, if you're going to be a 6th year, not to much more time to wait until you're old enough to get your own house." She said.
Angie was standing by the door, promising her father to be back by eight, nine at the latest. “I-“ Suddenly she found herself standing outside in the pouring rain in front of Krissy as she asked "-wont you?". She looked around, rather stupidly, as she stammered, “I pro-…I…I…uh…um.” She looked around again and blushed a deep maroon. She quickly glanced up at Krissy's face before looking at the street.
"Erm...what...what we're we just talking about?" She asked, feeling stupid and embarrassed. She was horribly aware of the burning in her cheeks and how vurnable she was, nobody was around because of the rain, the street was slippery, and she wasn’t quiet sure of where she was.

Krissy smiled. Even once she left Hogwarts she was almost positive she wouldn't be buying her own house. She planned on spending more time traveling.
Krissy looked down at Angie, she looked confused and her cheeks had gone a bright red. Krissy ignore dthe blush though choosing not to mention it, she hated when she did and guessed everyone else did too. 'Are you ok?" Krissy asked her young huffle curiously hoping nothing was wrong. Krissy didn't know Angie blacked out or anything.
"We were talking about what year your gunna be in..." Krissy said still looking at Angie worryingly.

“I’m fine,” Angie said very quickly. “Um…what year I’m going to be in?” She continued, trying to sound as normal as possible. “Second.” She glanced again at Krissy’s face, trying to recall where she had met them from. Oh yeah, Hogwarts. She was an older student in her house. “I-I’m going to be a second.”
Still not quiet certain of where she was she slipped a hand into her pants pocket and pulled out three folded up pieces of paper, thankfully Jack had water proofed them. She opened the first, luckily it had a small blinking red dot on it, indicating exactly where she was, she looked at the name written across the top of the paper. It read Diagon Ally. Feeling a little better now she knew where she was she folded it back up and put it, along with the other two pieces of parchment, in her back pocket.
She glanced around again, feeling the blush fade a little from her face. “So…uh…gloomy weather, isn’t it?” She asked in a failing attempt to sound like nothing had happened.

Krissy still had a very confused look upon her face. Hadn't Angie said something like that already once before. She was confused. The girl didn't seem to know where she was or something. Krissy watched as the girl pulled some paper out of her pocket. Krissy looked suspisciously at them but didn't say anything , after looking at it the girl seemed slightly relieved. Krissy didn't understand why. But she didn't think it her buiseness to pry into other peoples buiseness and so kept quiet still.
"Yeah the weathers really yucky, but thats ok, I like the rain"

“Yeah, yeah, the weathers pretty bad.” Angie agreed, even though she had asked the question. She was only half paying attention to what she was saying. “Really? I hate the rain…can’t think of why I was out here…” The last part was spoken to herself and in a low, but audible, voice.
She blinked and forced herself to return to the conversation. “Um…Well, er…what’s your name again? Something with a C…or a K? Cassy?” She hoped she hadn’t already asked this. “I…I just realized we’ve been talking now and I can’t remember your name quiet.”

Krissy laughed slightly. "Thats ok, my names Krissy, I remember your name only cause I met you one your own, you met lots of us at once so it would be difficult to remember names" Krissy smiled at the young girl. She was still kinda worried about her.
Krissy forrowed her brows as the girl said she hated the rain. She said she was anjoying it before. "So... you hate the rain but you enjoy it?" Krissy asked completely baffeled.

"Um...." She had said she enjoyed the rain? "Um...I-uh...yes. I hate it but I was enjoying it. Er...I was just enjoying being home from Hogwarts...so, um....so I-I didn't mind the rain that much, today." She couldn't help but let a little bit of questioning tone slip into her voice, almost as if she was asking for Krissy's approval of what she said. She grinned and said, "Yeah. So, you see? I hate it but I was enjoying it because I was happy."
“Erm…anyway,” Angie said, a little rushed. She could tell that Krissy was a bit confused, so she was trying to get the conversation back to a more normal place as quickly as she could. “Anway…um, um…what were you doing out today?”
