Annmarie was trying to have a pleasant day in Diagon Alley. But when her father and baby brother tagged along, things weren't going to swell. Her father was off to Gringotts, while Annmarie had to search for some book, with Timothy, her younger sibling, wrapped in her arms. Annmarie wasn't really sure what the book was even called. It was scribbled on a ripped piece of parchment that was just shoved into her pocket. But Annmarie couldn't get it. She had to care for Timothy, or else.
Sighing impatiently, Annmarie stood in front of a glass window, which had a few books on display. She held Timothy so his view was of the books. He was actually not crying for once, and just sat there, being the little baby he was, in his own little child world, day dreaming. "Look at all the books, Timothy. Now we have to go hunting for one. Yipee..." Annmarie told him unenthusiastically. She sighed again, and continued to stair at the books. "Why couldn't I have stayed home?" She said, sort of to Timothy, but more to herself. If she had just stayed home, Annmarie wouldn't have had to be watching him at the moment, and she would have actually been happy. But, in Annmarie's opinion, everything happened for a reason.

Michelle hurriedly stormed out of the bookstore, her arms full of her newly bought books. Now all she had to do was find her older brother. Most likely he was still at the Quidditch store, but one could never tell with Michael.
She stopped and glanced around to the best of her ability, for one can hardly look around when carrying a very large stack of books, searching for a sign that would lead her to the Quidditch store. This being the first time she'd ever been in Diagon Alley, let alone any part of the wizarding world, she was finding it extremely difficult to find her way around.
After a moment of trial and error of searching, Michelle decided it would be best to just walk around and ask for directions. There had to be someone who could help point her in the direction that she wished to go.
Quickly she dashed forward, seeing a crowd of people across the street. If she wouldn't of had the books blocking her direct frontal view, she would have seen the older girl standing in her path holding a young boy. But, unfortunately, knowing someone is in front of you and realizing it a little too late are two different things.
Suddenly Michelle was knocked flat on her back her books scattered all over the wet road. "Oh no! My books!"
Immediately she started to scramble around on the ground picking up her stack of now very wet, very dirty school books not even paying the slightest attention to what had knocked her over or even if she had knocked that thing over herself.

There was a sudden thud that rang in Annmarie's ears, and it seemed to make Timothy giggle, as the sound of a baby's giggle also filled her ears annoyingly. But, feeling a bit worried, she spun around, and noticed a girl who must have been the one who made th thud noise. But she must have been the one who apparently also bumped into Annmarie, since as she heard the noise, she felt a little bump in her back.
"Oh!...Let me help you." Annmarie carefully bent down, and picked up only two of the books with her free hand, as Timothy had been clinging onto the other His thumb was in his mouth, and his other hand was trying to reach for a book that would never come to him. Annmarie sat down a little bit more on the ground, and held the two books out for the girl to take.
A puzzled look came over Annmarie was she stared at the girl oddly, curious as to why she held all the books. "Er...pardon me, but did you need help with anything?" She asked, and actually lifted her head up to look at the girl. Annmarie felt a little bad, as she hated when she did things like dropping all her books and what not.

Michelle looked up at the girl who had squatted down to help her. "Oh! Oh my goodness, was it you that I bumped into? I'm so sorry!"
She flushed the deepest red grabbing onto the rest of her books including the ones the other girl had helped pick up. "Yes well, I'm trying to find my brother. He's left me out here by myself. Not that I can't handle myself it's just.."
She paused, standing up and hoisting her books to her side like she was carrying a baby. "It's just that I've never been to the wizarding world before. My un...guardian is a muggle. Everything is so unfamiliar here to me and my brother has run off to look at Quidditch brooms."
Michelle shifted her gaze to look around the girl for any sign of the Quidditch shop. Then, looking back she asked, "You don't by chance know where it is do you? I mean the Quidditch shop. Oh! And by the way, my name is Michelle. Michelle Paul; what's yours?"

She smiled politely at the girl, and mumbled something that sounded like, "Don't worry about it," or something of that nature. It's not that Annmarie didn't care about the girl's apology, but Timothy was making it rather difficult, as he was playing with Annmarie's auburn hair, making it go into her face. If only this bundle of bothersome wasn't on her shoulder, life would be so much easier at that moment...
While standing on her tippy toes, Annmarie looked to the side, and then to the other way, trying to see any sign of the Quidditch store. Truth was, Annmarie was not entirely sure herself where it was. She never really had a need to go there, so therefore it was very unlikely for her to have any clue of where it could be.
Annmarie twirled back around, and Timothy had finally let go of her hair, so now she could stand peacefully. "I think it's...that way." She pointed to the right, and looked down that way. "I'm, not entirely sure, but I think it is. But I'm Annmarie Ogtrop, nice to meet you." She told her, sort of making a sorry, yet cheerful face all at once.
Almost immediately, she noticed how the girl named Michelle, was holding a truck load of books. She made a thinking face for a moment, but soon an idea popped into her brain. "Here, want me to help you with carrying those books? I'll even help you find the store, if you'd like." Annmarie smiled now, more of a friendly one, as she was feeling in a rather generous mood.

Michelle looked up at Annmarie quickly. "I wouldn't want to be a bother but...would you?"
She blushed again nearly dropping the books that she had. "I wouldn't ask normally it's just that I really need the help. You wouldn't mind?"
She smiled, happy that she had found someone nice enough to help her out. It wasn't everyday that you ran into someone who was so generous.

Annmarie smiled again, and chuckled lightly. "No, really. It's no trouble at all." She hoisted up Timothy so she held him up a bit higher, and he giggled, just like he always did. It shattered Annmarie's ears so very much, and she wish she knew a legal way of shutting him up, once and for all.
She finally walked away from the shop window she had been standing at for the last half hour or so, and walked a little into the street more. Annmaroe looked both ways, trying to see if she could really see the Quidditch shop. Once she figured that it must have been to the right, Annmarie turned towards Michelle again.
"It's this way." Annmarie said quickly, while walking back towards her a little more. She took some of the books that she had been holding, hoping to make it easier for her. Annmarie held them tightly, and she walked out into the street again, but turned around to face Michelle. "Let's go." She began to walk a little bit, but not too much.

((sorry I haven't posted in awhile. My computer crashed.))
Michelle nodded to Annmarie then looked into the direction they were going. She was really happy that there was someone to help out with her stuff. She had run out of room in her bag for her books when she had put her new school robes in. If it wasn't for Annmarie, she would be having so much more trouble.
"Thanks again for your help." Michelle tucked her remainin books under her arm and followed the older girl. "When I find my brother I'm gonna kill im'."
She laughed then looked from the little boy Annmarie was holding to her. "But I guess you see things the opposite way huh? I mean, being the older sibling and all."
((sorry again...bad posting...brain freeze...))
