((Extremely closed and closed))
It was dark out in Diagon Alley that night. Lily had come to do some shopping over break, and now she was leaving, with a few bags in hand. She had been the last in the shop, the shopkeeper shooing her out at long last into a nearly deserted street. All people except for a few witches and wizards who hurried by looking to the ground were gone. Lily had to get to the Leaky Couldron though, in which she was staying the night temporarily for some reason or another (it had to do with the flooing thing, she remembered now - she was talking to Matt in the morning about it). She shivered to herself in the cold night's air as she pulled her coat tighter around her.

A figure wrapped in darkness, surrounded by the night's cold embrace, leaned against the wall of a closed jewelry store, a creaking sound coming from the hinges of a beat up and battered wooden sign that contained the shop's name, Glady's Shiny Things, that hung over the wooden door, swaying in the wind. His face covered by the shadow that his hood casted over him making him appear much more shadow-like in appearance.
Stoic brown eyes spotted movement down the street. His eyes squinted, spotting a girl, who was probably on break from Hogwarts. What a girl like her was doing in Diagon at night was of no concern to him. Diagon wasn't like Knocturn where danger lurked in every nook and cranny of the place. Still, she shouldn't have been in Diagon Alley at night and alone.
It was as if she wanted something to happen to her. Pretty stupid, really.
He pushed himself away from the wall of the jewelry shop, his eyes never straying from the solitary figure of the girl as he slowly walked towards her. He stood a good distance away in front of her, his hand deep in his pockets and a cheerful smile plasted on his face,
"Hello miss...Bright night out, isn't it? What's a pretty little one like you doing out here at night?" Aros asked, hood slightly shadowing his face yet his bright eyes stood out.

Now like most little girls, Lily had also been taught not to talk to strangers, especially men. What could it hurt though? He was probably a shopkeeper, who had just finished closing up and was now heading home. "The stars are nice tonight yes," Lily said with a smile. "Chilly however. I was just heading back you see. I lost track of time."

Aros chuckled slightly, a sad smile drifting apon his detached features of his face. He took another step towards the girl, tilting his head at a slight angle causing his hood to be totally submerse his face into darkness.
"Mars is awefully red tonight..." he quipped, gliding towards her with such grace that would've made a ghost jealous. He was now upon her as he reached out for her with his right hand. Thin, long fingers clutched her shoulder as he stared down at her,
"Loosing track of time is a really horrid thing to do 'round these parts." he whispered to her, the cheerful voice that he had used with her was now replaced with the true voice of a callous murderer; his own true voice,
"...We don't want anything to happen to you, now do we..."

The voice sent shivers down Lily's spine. She was just overreacting though and she knew it. He wasn't really as scary as he sound; he was just looking out for Lily's best intrests. Still, his hand on her shoulder made it hurt and made her scared. "I'll just be on my way now." Lily said, attempting to leave and break free from his grip on her shoulder. "It was nice meeting you."

"Leaving already?" Aros asked, a kind of harshness settling into his voice. He squeezed her shoulder before letting go completely, a smile on his face. It wasn't a friendly smile that held friendliness that people usually gave one another. It was a grim smile that spelled either trouble was brewing or something sinister. Something much more sinister,
"Yeah, I can see that being here at night can give you the creeps," he draped an arm around Lily's neck, laughing like a mad man,
"No worries, friend. I'll bring you to wherever you need to go. I'll scare all the badies away from your pretty little self." he said with a smile, looking at her with a devilish grin.

"No thanks," Lily said, rather uneasily. "I'm just fine. I can do it on my own. I'm 16." What did he think she was 5? She took his arm and forced it off of her. "And don't call me friend. You hardly know me. I haven't even introducd myself." Not that she would. She wanted to get out of here as fast as possible. She was trying to trick him enough so that she might be able to get to her wand though. She know longer thought he was a nice shopkeeper.

Aros chuckled silently to himself, moving slightly backwards, idly drawing his wand from the hidden interior of his sleeve, twirling the long wooden object between his fingers, an amused look imprinted upon his face,
"Are you sure? Are you positive that I know nothing about you?" he whispered, the octave of his voice lowered as if betraying a dark secret to her,
"I know much...much more than you think...Lily Viteri..." he said finally, laughing out loud with a sudden cheeriness that seemed foreign in the dark night. His laughter pierced the quiet of the night like a javelin thrown with deadly accuracy against a defenseless child.

"How do you know my name?" Lily asked, trying not to let the fear show through in his voice. "Do I know you?" She tried to get a good look at his face, tried to figure out if this was a person she had met before. She couldn't place a face though, no matter how desperately she needed to. It was all for naught. She was frighted and she wanted to go home. She sneaked her hand closer and closer to her wand.

The movement of her hand did not go unnoticed. Instead of feeling alarmed at the sudden motion, his grin, instead, became much more pronounced, placing his wand back inside his sleeve. He bridged his fingers together as he stared down Lily with a look that was crossed between a malevolent stare and a happy smile. All in all, it was a very creepy look, one that he had mastered dealing with all sorts of people,
"Please Lily, do youreally think that you can defend youself, a mere Hogwarts student who's still wet behind the ears, against me, a full grown wizard with skills that your feeble mind cannot ever comprehend." he said, a vicious tone in his voice as he cooly watched her,
"I'd have you hanging by your intestines before you ever managed to draw your wand. Remember that..."
"As for your question, " Aros started, his right hand rubbing his chin in thought, "No, you don't know me...but I know a lot about you...Lily."

"I can try," Lily said weakly, a cold glint in her eyes. She wasn't going to go down without a fight. If this was the way that she was going to die, well then, it was the way that she was going to die and she was resolved to it. Heck, a year ago she would have liked it, would have wanted to die. "Tell me how you know so much about me. Why did you choose to learn about me? What makes me so interesting to you? No one will miss me when I'm gone; I won't even be in any of the papers."

Aros laughed, recognizing the glint in her eye as a look of someone truly wanting to live. It was like the saying that the once the an animal is backed into a corner, that's when it fights the hardest. Of course, the pleasure is doubled from the kill.
Aros grinned, "Why...of course you can try. Who am I to stop you. It is your right to try." he said, that grin that was on his face morphing into a mocking sneer,
"That's one of the main reasons why I picked you. No one loves you so who truly cares if I take your life?" He cackled once again with hideious glee before staring back at her,
"Lily, dear, you act as if you exist...You don't. No one cares about you, thus you don't exist. You're a fake; a perversion of the human body. You are not meant to live, dear..."

"I am too," Lily growled through her teeth. "Nic loves me. He'll miss me." She had been through too much to lose the battle now. And she would try. She had beaten herself too many times to die like this. She pulled out her wand in one fluid motion and pointed it at the masked stranger. "I'm warning you," she said, her voice shaking. It was a pretty empty threat as far as threats go, but then again, what else are you supposed to do when it's the last night of your life, submit?

Aros laughed coldly, staring down at Lily with a sad look upon his crazed features. Her pitiful attempts at trying to not acknowledge the fact that no one loved her were amusing to say the least. It was always fun to play with your victim before going in for the kill. It was a game to Aros and he'd always win.
The shaky tone she had used were music to Aros' ears that was like a beautiful ochestra simply playing for his desires,
"Your little boyfriend of yours is just using you. The only gain he would get from you is bodily gain. Of course...your usefulness has ended. He will get his in due time." he said simply, taking another step at Lily, wand still in his sleeve but could be drawn at any time, "This world will get it in due time. Unfortunately for you...your time is up..."
"I shall play the part of the Reaper in your sad story known as your pathetic life."
