"What do you mean Slytherin? I never said I was in Slytherin." Ty said his smirk still plainly evident. "I think your seeing abilities might be a little off there dude." Of course Ty was in Slytherin but he didn't recall ever telling the man this. And after all the only one in this conversation who would know that would be Seanna. And matching Ty blow for blow was certainly not a way to take him down a notch. It was more likely to have the opposite effect on him. Nothing really took him down a notch.

Felicity chose to ignore the conversation after the man answered her question, she didn't really know too much about the different Houses or why the boy pitied the Gryffindor's, but she didn't care either; she didn't know what House she'd be in until after she'd arrived at Hogwarts that September. The words flew in one of the girl's ears and right out the other, she'd hadn't met very many Hogwarts students, but she wasn't sure she'd like the boy. Except, she did like his confidence and cocky attitude. Instead, Felicity focused her attention on the girl with the duck.
"What's its name?" she asked her. It really was the most enthralling thing to the brown-eyed beauty.

There was so much going on that Seanna didn't have time to react when the duck flew in the air with it's wings flapping and the duck emitting a loud screech from it's mouth instead of a quack...and then the duck produce a shimmering color of gold and somehow Seanna figured out that that was the duck protecting her.
Maybe the duck hated people fighting?. Seanna hadn't thought that Eamon and Ty were fighting, maybe just arguing, but maybe the duck hated people arguing as well?. "It's okay, Percy, don't worry, they're not mad at me..." Seanna gently stroked the duck and made cooing noises to calm it down, eventually getting the duck safely back in her arms.
"Can you two please knock it off?, you're both scaring Percy..." Seanna trailed off, directing this more at Ty, than at Eamon and giving Ty a glare for good measure. "Green grass, leave it until you get back to the Emerald City" Knowing Ty would get what she was talking about and hoping the other two wouldn't.
"I guess his name is Percy... I'm Seanna, by the way" Seanna said, giving the girl a smile while she continued to stroke the duck who was quacking slightly in her arms and had calmed down a considerable amount, though the color was still surrounding Seanna and the duck.. and Seanna had no idea how she was supposed to make that go away.

Ty looked up, his expression remaining the same, as Seanna’s duck took flight and started acting very weird indeed. He wasn’t afraid of a duck, after all what was a little duck going to do. Even if it did have magical powers, it was sure to be easy to take down. I mean muggles shot them all of the time, right?
Ty just smirked as Seanna glared over in his direction. Just because her and her nut of a duck didn’t like the conversation didn’t mean that he was going to just let it drop after the man had came right back at him. “Why on earth would you call him green grass?” Ty said with a malicious grin over in Seanna’s direction. “Unless you know something I don’t. What have you seen him previously smoking green grass or something. Is that some kind of code word for that pot that muggles smoke? And what is this Emerald City? It that some kind of gathering place for pot heads?”

Seanna sighed, throwing a look at Eamon and shrugging her shoulder's slightly, "Don't mind Ty, Eamon, he's just...Ty" Seanna said, somewhat apologetically. Seanna then threw another glare in Ty's direction, but decided it was better if she ignored him for the time being, if Ty wanted to get himself in to trouble, she was going to let Ty get himself into trouble.
"So, where are you both from?" Seanna asked Eamon and the other girl, the color that the duck had up was now gone and the duck seemed more settled than it was before, which Seanna was thankful for.

"What do you mean? It's just Ty? Of course I am Ty," Ty said with a smirk over in Seanna's direction. "And your just Seanna, and she is just....well I don't know who she is, but that is beside the point." He wasn't quite sure what she meant by that. Of course he was Ty. He wasn't to sure he wanted his name being spread so early on. Although the professor dude would have figured it out eventually, after all everyone had to take Charms.

Seanna glared at Ty again and smirked back in his direction, "That's just what I mean, your Ty and you will always be Ty and there's nothing we can do about it" So Seanna wasn't really mad at Ty, she just felt sorry for Eamon for meeting Ty like this and was trying to make the situation a bit better for the both of them.

Whatever the two were talking about was somewhat over the blond girl's head, though she knew what the Emerald City was, just how it fit into the conversation she didn't know. When the golden rays appeared it was different, and certainly unexpected, but it only made Felicity think more of the duck. Felicity agreed with the girl about the argument being issued from the other two, but didn't add anything to what the girl said. Besides, the duck was so cute and she couldn't care about the bickering pair, the duck was still visible.
When Seanna told her the name of the duck, she couldn't help but let a squeal of glee out, it was just that cute. "Feli--," she replied, but was cut off by the boy called Ty. When she was asked where she came from she finally looked up from the feathery thing and smiled brightly at the girl. "I'm from--," she was again cut off from the boy. It was getting a bit old.
"My name is Felicity," she said a bit louder than she'd expected to Ty as she turned to look at the boy. "Now you know who I am, not that I think you'd care either way. We all know your name is Ty. That's great, nice to meet you." Felicity then turned back to the girl a soft smile on her face, "And I'm from London. What about you?"

"Nope, nothing at all," Ty said with a smile in Seanna's direction before being quite abruptly yelled at by the use-to-be quiet Felicity.
"Umm.... Thanks for that information," Ty said with his customary smirk. He didn't really ask what her name was, did he? It wasn't like he really cared enough to ask, so he was pretty sure he hadn't. "But I am not so sure that you are going to make many friends if that is your way of introducing yourself. It might be just me, but that was a little loud and abrupt."

Exasperation. Pure exasperation, this boy was going to be one of the ends of her. She'd introduced herself merely for Seanna, but she'd said it to Ty out of her exasperation with him. Of course, no one would have known that by the way she'd done it; and her reasoning didn't really make sense, but she wasn't thinking very clearly either.
"I wouldn't be too sure of that," Felicity replied to the boy, her voice at a normal level for speaking. "Making an unforgettable impression to others makes it hard for them to forget you; good or bad." It was true, if you made yourself quite noticeable to a person they usually remembered. "And anyway, who said I was looking to make friends?" she added with her own little smirk.

"That's true," Ty said with a small laugh. She did have a point, first impressions were often the way that most people formed opinions of a person. "But if you make a bad first impression then they we'll remember you as an idiot or a jerk, and after all first impressions are hard to remove once they are there." Dang maybe the boy should take his own advice, the only thing was he did't really care about making first impressions with anyone here so he was still good accourding to his own thought. After all he had already met Seanna and she was cool in his book, but the others he could take or leave. One he could leave for sure, the other he didn't really mind her all that much, but all the same he wouldn't stop being himself just because there wasn't a strong sense of dislike there. "Well then if that is the case you are set." He added with a smirk when she said he wasn't looking for friends.

"Just because a person makes a bad first impression doesn't mean everyone else will think that person is a jerk or an idiot. It could just mean they were having a bad day or something that just turned into a bad way of greeting another." He wasn't very open-minded about reasons people had, or at least it seemed that way from her view at the moment. "And being interrupted as you're trying to talk with another who's talking with you makes it kind of hard to make a good impression. So I just opted for the rememberable impression."
Felicity was kind of torn about what she thought about the boy. She liked his attitude, but then she didn't really care for the way he projected it. "And besides, I'd never try to get rid any impression I've made. If one makes a bad impression it means you can work more to get a good impression of yourself across to another. And that shows that you're willing to make the effort. A much better impression than just making a first good impression." Rambling, yes, but she was good at it.

"Wait. You wouldn't want to be friends with me?" A teasing tone was evident in Seanna's voice and Seanna gave Felicity a smile, hoping Felicity knew she was only joking. "And yeah, first impressions do count, don't they Ty?, I think I pushed you when I first met you" Seanna reminded Ty, moving the duck slightly in her arms, the duck was still quaking away, but not as much as it had been before.

"First impressions are extremely important. It defines how the other person will think of you for most likely as long as you know them. Take "Ty" here. For the rest of my and his time at Hogwarts, I will think of him as... Well, let's not get into details." He added. These children were intelligent, that much was evident. If not for the attitude of the boy, he would look forward to teaching them.

"I never said I wasn't looking to make friends," she hinted at Seanna with her own grin. Of course, Felicity would want to be friends with the girl who had a duck, who else was whacky enough to own a duck? It was grande, not that she thought the girl was whacky, but since she had a duck there was no way Seanna was going to be able to get away from Felicity.
"Yes, they are important, but a person shouldn't necessarily take the first impression as seriously as many do. Like I said before, sometimes people are just having an off day, and may need a second --or even a third, chance." This was said in all reality in defense of Ty. No, Felicity didn't know anything about the boy but she was going to brush off the first impression she received from him. After all, he couldn't really be that bad, could he?
